  1. Don't rain on my glitter-tossing, sparkly pink princess parade, okay??? Blake is gone (pleasepleaseplease) and I am happy!! LOL
  2. LOL...mine, too! I couldn't have gotten away with that little coverage in the fifth grade!!
  3. ^^You're right, I forgot to mention Ashley's, which I did love and thought should have won!^^
  4. As much as I love Swapnil, I wouldn't have given him the win. I didn't think the bra and panties were quite a "set", and I know it may be just me, but the straps across the chest would make me insane! I know it wasn't meant to be one of the more practical, every day items up there, but I just didn't care for it. I also hated the lack of an obvious connection between the cups...the blank space was awkward. I detested what Merline made and can't believe it won! Well, given the cracked out judging this show has became known for, yes I can! It drooped, it was unflattering, and was frankly attrocious. Jake didn't actually deserve to be in the bottom two for that design, either. Yes, it was a little basic, with some straps that were unforgivably snug...but there was a lot of ugly on that runway tonight. I thought Lindsey's was bad (her models breasts looked sad and low) and Merline's was awful, too. But Princess Blakey is gone, so I don't care. I just never liked any thing he made and his simpering "I'm such a special princess" posing was old by the end of the first 5 minutes of the season. I'm glad Tim didn't bother saving him!
  5. I'm betting on a top four again. And I think it will be Edmond, Swapnil, Candace, and Ashley/Merline/whoever gets the Tim Gunn Save!
  6. NEXT!! Those eyes...
  7. I do think he is divine to look at, no lie. And as for the accent, one of the nitpickiest, bitchiest bosses I ever had was an Indian woman (second only to the boss from Hell...er, Mexico), and I have hated hearing that accent ever since. Until Swapnil opens his mouth that is...
  8. Poor, dreamy Swapnil. Always a runner-up. I hope with all my heart that he is this season's Dmitry, who got no love until like, episode nine or so, and then won the whole thing. Because the only designer/man I adore nearly as much as Dmitry is Swapnil! The schoolyard pick was pretty weird...I thought, like Ashley, that Candace would have picked her! They worked well together the last time, and knowing it was a TEAM challenge, why would you take the bottom-dwelling Amanda if you didn't have to?? *Edited because I misspelled Dmitry.
  9. Lacey is amazing. She has little hope of winning this joke of a show, and even if she does it's unlikely to do her any favors, but my lord, is she gorgeous! I also like Ava and Nyle and Justin. Devin is a good model, but his personality is stank...which puts him at the top of the heap, for sure. I don't care much for or about anyone else.
  10. And "You'll Like My Mother" was my favorite movie when I was younger. Richard Thomas did creepy so well!! I'm an unabashed John Boy lover, though, so don't mind me...
  11. I'd have to agree. His week one look was basic as hell...a tube dress with a train...and in no way deserved a top three placement. His week two look was imaginative and interesting, but not without its problems...you definitely get some peek-a-boo action when the model walks the runway. I would also argue that although it deserved top three, Swapnil's look was more fully realized and actually wearable. And this week, he spent 8 hours arguing with Hanmiao and throwing a waistband on an unhemmed length of garish yellow fabric. Oh yes...he also made a hot pink swimsuit because he couldn't stop being a control freak, despite the fact that he himself had immunity and wouldn't be going anywhere no matter what Hanmiao sent down the runway. And those strings tied around the model's waist were all on him.I'm just not as impressed with Edmond so far as he himself seems to be. In fact, I believe that design-wise, this season's men are a pretty weak lot. Only Swapnil (and possibly the departed David) seem to have the level of talent that Ashley and Candace seem to possess. (Although I hated...with the white hot burning fire of a million suns...what Ashley and Candace designed this week!). I think this is the season for a female winner, and it won't surprise me one bit if it's Ashley.
  12. I speculate that Tim Gunn's save will be wasted again. I thought Justin was an okay save (and his final collection was quite intriguing), but Charkita was a true waste. I picture it being used on someone like Merline. I don't feel...in MY opinion...that Tim saves talent, he saves emotion. Someone with a pleasantly perceived personality who is very emotional upon elimination. I'd like to see him save it for a truly talented designer and not his pet, but I doubt it.
  13. I detested the winning look! Too busy, pants too short, and it took me back to the 1970's, and not in a good way! I don't get it at all! I'd have put Blake's and Kelly's Greek-inspired look in the top over that mess. Jake is a passive aggressive little bitch, but I pretty much can't stand Lindsey, either. Joseph is a jerk, and although Merline drives me nuts just watching her (and I can't imagine how exhausting it is to be around her), I felt bad for her when she was saying how she just wants to be liked and that she wasn't getting to be herself. I'm sure my goodwill towards her will fade, though, because she has "Tim Gunn Save!" written all over her...marginally talented designer with "sweet" attitude who will shed copious tears upon her exit, causing Tim to feel sorry for her and bring her back to show us all what she can really do, thus promising her an unearned and undeserved spot in the finale. Please let me be wrong!! I loved Swapnil's and Laurie's look, and I love Swapnil, period. Edmond made an ugly yellow skirt...the same ugly yellow that Ashley was wearing. Hanmiao was very stubborn, but Edmond didn't come off very well, either. Finally, Gabrielle and Amanda...meh. I knew they'd both be safe when the judges weren't shown asking which of them should go home.
  14. It's still too early to remember most of these people... I thought Devin, Mikey, Bello, Courtney, Lacey, Mamè, and Justin all took good to great photos. I adore Lacey and her southern Arkansas accent. The boys mostly have really stank personalities. I love Nyle, but his picture was meh. Courtney is a bundle of insecurity. I bet Hadassah is out soon, since she obviously knows so much more than Tyra can teach her. I like the new scoring. I'm glad Miss Jay is back. Can't wait for makeovers! Mikey's going to lose that hair for sure, and It looks like Tyra wants to take the pageant girl out of Hadassah...shaving her head??
  15. Why do they bother with putting these people through a cooking competition when the only thing they really seem to want is someone who can go on the road and talk about other people's food?
  16. What the holy hell?! If this plays out the way it looks like it's going to, with the evil transgender child, I might just break every PLL boxed set I own...and I own them all.
  17. I don't disagree with you there! But MEchelle wants what she wants. (And to my great sadness, I gave birth to a child very much like that.)
  18. I am soooooo not going to defend MEchelle as a parent, homemaker, or anything else, but I think those look like nail wraps, not a regular nail polish manicure. They're relatively inexpensive, quick to apply, and they last really well...I have painted, scrubbed the tub, done dishes, etc., and had mine last for a week before looking bad.
  19. Maybe I'm a stone, but brother or not, if someone had been torturing me and my friends for years, had likely killed my mom, and forced me into running and hiding, I wouldn't be so forgiving.
  20. Emilia deserved to be eliminated for that! She's on Food Network, not Rupaul's Drag Race; the challenge wasn't to read her fellow contestants. I liked her prior to that, but if that's her true personality, I don't want it on my TV. I, too, am tired of the "Dom gets nervous on camera" storyline. As mentioned above, what is he doing on this show if he can't be comfortable presenting food? And if it's all manufactured, then that's even worse to me. Jay shouts too much, but meh...he's no worse than Guy Fieri in that respect, and Food Network looooves Guy. I could do without both Jay and Guy, but I'm not offended by either of them, so... With Michelle the last woman standing, I fully expect that either A) she'll make it to the final three or B) the LCK winner will be female and make it to the final three. I don't believe for a minute that the final three will be all men.
  21. I'll miss Rue. She was gorgeous and had an interesting POV; it's just unfortunate that she never really managed to make anything of that. I'd much rather watch her than Michelle or Dom. To be honest, though, I'm not so sure I'd watch any of the remaining contestants' shows. Maybe Arnold's, if Suzy Wong makes an appearance or two and IF he can teach me about presentation. His talents don't actually seem to belong on a cooking show, but I like him and would watch him throw a pretty party every week...showers, barbecues, birthday parties, cocktail parties, etc. Why not? I don't mind Alex, but agree that he should change his POV to Asian-inspired. Emilia, I also like, but since I dislike spicy food I'd probably never want to cook anything she showed. Eddie would be a decent winner, if a bit boring. And Jay? Just NO.
  22. "Mona returns to Rosewood in a very fragile state as she must answer to the police for faking her death. Matters only get worse when she is confronted by Lesli’s sister about Lesli’s inadvertent involvement in Mona’s plot. " So, did I miss something? Lesli was the one confronting Mona at The Brew, right? Where does her sister come into this? Maddie Ziegler may be a talented little dancer, but that whole bit seemed unnecessary to me. And she looks nothing like a young Ali! I want answers from our "Summer of Answers"' dammit!! And why do we need to wait two weeks for another episode?! **Edited to add that I detest Sara and I am really hating Emily's desperate need to protect her from big bad A, at the expense of her friends who have been through hell and back with her. Just yuck.
  23. Come on, show! "The army's not 9-5." Emily's dad would have been given leave when his daughter was kidnapped and there's no way he wouldn't be there when she was returned. One of my PLL buddies is military and she says there is no way in hell the army would keep him in Texas.
  24. I don't know how unpopular these opinions are, but here goes anyway. I despise Ali, and I don't think Sasha is a great actress in large doses. I liked her better when she was dead and appearing in flashbacks as a straight-up bitch. I think Troian is overrated, personally. And Spencer is my least favorite liar. Followed by Emily. I have sympathy for Mona, with the sole exception of running Hanna over with her car. Otherwise, I just love her, and I think Janell is a hell of a good actress. Hanna is everything. Hanna with Caleb is even more than that. Truth...I'd switch teams for Caleb. Not Tyler Blackburn, though...he seems kind of gross outside of PLL. Radley sucks. Toby bores me to tears. I adored him when Emily was his only friend and he was crying in alleyways, but now he's just a smug, pretentious jerk and I wish he'd disappear. I still want Ezra to be A.
  25. Bianca looked A-MA-ZING!! And I adored Ru's **wink wink** to the fans crying out how Katya was robbed, LOL. Thoroughly pleased with the winner, but surprised, too. I expected a different outcome.
