I don't think HBO themselves came up with any kind of cap (why would they GoT is a massive cash cow for them and they will milk it and milk it). The showrunners have posited the idea of 7-8 seasons saying that if it ended on 7 seasons it would fit nicely into the ASOIAF world: 7 Kingdoms, 7 Gods etc etc, I'm pretty sure 7 seasons isn't set in stone though. At one point they kept saying "when we're done, GoT will be like an 80 hour movie" which suggests they were leaning towards 8 seasons. However, they have stated categorically that they wouldn't want to go to 10 seasons or anything like. I guess we'll just have to wait and see.

GRRM has already told the showrunners where each character ends, it's just a question of whether they follow the same route or not, depending on whether he has published 1, both or neither of the books in time. However, they def know the ending already.

Oh my gosh, last nights episode had me in tears. I didn't even like Lucy as a character and I've never felt impressed enough to compliment anyone's acting on EE but Ian was amazing. His face when it sunk in that it actually was Lucy - utterly convincing. Best piece of acting I've ever seen on that show by far.

Friendly White Cloaks: Questions And Proclamations
Meredith Quill replied to stillshimpy's topic in The Unsullied Habitat
Let it be known, by all Bookwalkers & Unspoiled who enter, this particular realm is defended by unsullied guards known as White Cloaks whose sigil is a shield. White Cloak Oath: I do proclaim that I have read all the ASOIAF books, watched each and every episode and utterly spoiled myself on all that is Game of Thrones. I vow that I shall use this knowledge to uphold my first duty, which is to defend the unsullied kingdom from all unavowed Bookwalkers & spoilers from this day until my last day or until the last season of Game of Thrones ends (whichever comes first). Furthermore, I solemnly swear as a champion of this, the purest of realms, to: • Protect the innocence and defend the honor of the unsullied. • To give counsel (via reports, announcements or non spoilery questions), otherwise to remain as an invisible & silent sentinel. • To be the shield against accursed ‘helpful’ extra information. • To remain vigilant for rascally hints, knavish nudges and roguish ‘pay attention to this, wink winks’. • To roam throughout the kingdom for spitball congratulators or confirmers and challenge them to trial by combat using my infallible mod amour and trusty (and un-named, ahem) Valyrian steel sword. SilverStormm: I do so vow. The odd goblet of Arbor gold would be appreciated! Mya Stone: I do so vow. And a goblet of Arbor Red would never be denied by me. ;) Skywarpgold: I do so vow. Athena: I do so vow. Where's my goblet of Dornish wine, please? -
Game of Hodors: Insert "Hodor" Into Your Favorite Quotes
Meredith Quill replied to Independent George's topic in Fun & Games
"The Lannisters always pay their Hodor." "Tell your father, the Lannisters aren't the only ones who pay Hodor" "To Hodor or not to Hodor; that is THE question." "I'm going to have to eat every fucking Hodor in this place" "Chaos is a Hodor" "The things I do for Hodor" "There's no cure for being a Hodor" I could go on & on with this lol. -

Mary Berry: HM Of Cakes

She seems like a really nice woman and her cakes etc always look scrumptious. -
Walter was my absolute favourite character on this show (He Rocks!). I miss him as well as the show, no matter what else John Noble does, he will always be Walter Bishop to me.

S04.E02: The Lion And The Rose 2014.04.13

I'm glad he got the flagon with the dragon ;) Yes originally, but the chalice from the palace got broken, so the vessel with the pestle held the brew that was true and pellet with the poison was in the flagon with the dragon. :p -
Friendly White Cloaks: Questions And Proclamations

Yes, it should be safe. The conversation in those threads only includes what has aired and anything book spoilery beyond that is behind spoiler tags. Hope that helps. However, please bear in mind that to qualify as an Unsullied you should have no knowledge beyond the show; from the HBO static to closing credits, including HBO extra content etc. To clarify, as you have read the first 2 books we ask that you do not post in here, however, you are welcome to read the posts in the Unsullied Habitat. Thank you :) -
A place to discuss particular arcs and moments from the show's run. Please remember this isn't a complete catch-all topic -- check out the forum for character topics and other places for show-related talk.

I think they're all straight too and so does my OH :)

I LOVED Ten, each to their own, but for me he was perfect! 'My' Doctor was Tom Baker as a kid but I love Ten more, sorry Tom. Looking forward to Capaldi.

Just to confuse the issue even further; the custard we use here in the UK also is used in trifles where it 'sets' like a jelly and is slicable! (I don't like trifle!). Yes, what 11 had in his bowl was the same as custard from a carton. Fish fingers and custard is not a real meal haha- who would eat that...ewww, except maybe some expectant mothers perhaps?? :p Also for us Brits the words dessert & pudding are interchangable.

Mom or not, if I hear "mind your manners or don't play with your food" one more time...
