  1. If you would like to vote for Game of Thrones (or anything else) in the TV Choice Awards you can do so here. Voting is open until midnight on 20th June. This is a British mag so you may not be familiar with every show if you aren't in the UK, but you can skip any categories you don't want to vote in.

  4. Wish Granted! Davos decided to gamble all Stannis' dwindling gold dragons on a 10,000 to 1 shot in the annual dwarf jousting tournament and to his joy, won, owing to his rider turning up riding a direwolf, who then ate all the other combatants. I wish that Robb Stark had never met/married Talisa grr!
  5. There is already a general speculation thread here for spoiled folks and another here for unspoiled folks. This thread is for season 5 news and info only, there will be another for season 6 next year. However, I have updated the thread title to make it perfectly clear.
  6. This Forum is for Unsullied Members to post in: those who have vowed to not only not read the books, but also to not watch previews, read information on the Viewer's Guide, or seek any information outside of what has been IN THE EPISODES ONLY. For the purposes of The Habitat there are 4 categories of visitor: Unsullied = Only watch the show from HBO static to closing credits. Nothing else, nada, zilch, zip. = Welcome to post in here. Unspoiled = Haven't read the books. Watch the show plus ‘next time on’ previews and/or interviews/reviews and/or own GoT DVD boxsets and/or access HBO GoT content. = Please post in the main GoT forum, where the No Book Talk episode thread caters to you. Partially-spoiled Bookwalker = Have read some of the books but none beyond where the show has broadcast. = Please post in the main GoT forum, where the No Book Talk episode thread caters to you. Fully-spoiled Bookwalker = Have read either all of the books or past where the show has broadcast. = Please post in the main GoT forum, where there is a Book Talk episode thread for you. Unless you fall into the Unsullied category above you should be in READ-ONLY mode in this thread (and sub-forum). Thank you for your cooperation. Episode Synopsis: Unexpected visitors arrive in Mole's Town. Littlefinger's motives are questioned. Ramsay tries to prove himself to his father. Tyrion's fate is decided.

  8. Episode Synopsis: Unexpected visitors arrive in Mole's Town. Littlefinger's motives are questioned. Ramsay tries to prove himself to his father. Tyrion's fate is decided. Reminder: There is open air book talk here. If you are just watching the TV show and you don't want to stumble into a potential spoiler you should leave now. Book Talk assumes you have read all the books to date. Any information from unpublished books, such as preview chapters should be in spoiler tags.
  9. Read this elsewhere: this is the book talk thread I realise but it could be seen as spoilery as it kinda confirms certain events that happen this episode, so I'm tagging it to be on the safe side:
  10. Enjoying the show, I can't see where the plot is going longterm though. Mary's maid irritates me. So does Mrs Hale know her husband is a witch I wonder...?
  11. Aww Xena was such fun, miss it! I'm such a fangirl I enjoyed The Bitter Suite :)
  12. Kit Harrington is in the upcoming Spooks (as in MI5, not ghosts) movie, don't know whether it's a starring role but I'm guessing it is?
  13. Last I heard/read, there is no split in season 8 according to Moffat & co (although he has been known to be economical with the truth at times to say the least). I'm not worried about the show & cast having been put under pressure; how long has it been since (said gravy train) had a full straight season with no messing about? If it was solely down to pressure from the beeb or another interested party, then I'm positive that all the previous messing around wouldn't have been tolerated for as long as it was. Plus I don't consider what must be approx 8 months rushing things exactly, GoT manages to produce a season in 8-9 months approx.
  14. Oh you poor poor sweet summer child (whoever you are). *sad face* such a shame he dies, I love that character.
  15. Well it'd be boring if we were all the same :)
  16. Men and their swords, brings a whole new meaning to Ser Arthur Dayne, called the 'Sword of the Morning'. :p
  17. I realise that this is perhaps premature right now, but the question occurred to me so I thought I'd ask anyway; are any of you planning to read the books once the show is over & done? My reason for asking is because it would be very interesting if you, (that's a collective you) did so jointly and posted your thoughts regarding finding out answers/information that the show doesn't end up revealing, or even changes from the page to the screen that made more sense in the books.
  18. If you turn out to be right, I will like Shirley even less than I do already. The actress is good but I find the character annoying.
  19. I think you could be onto something there, it is a logical train of thought - 'I can't cope, I'm a bad mum, he'd be better off if he wasn't here' type justification. I have a sneaking feeling they are building up to some kind of revelation such as Shirley being Mick's mum. How they work out the logistics of that, I leave to them. ;) Also I read that something big happens with The Butchers soon...(no not the wedding) have no idea what but I want to know, probably will be the catalyst for Bianca's departure whatever it is.
  20. Max is just a fool who can't keep it in his trousers. If it curtails his nonsense with (much) younger women then I'm all for it.
  21. Well not literally like that, (for that very reason); to clarify, for it to be as easy & quick as that.
