  1. Only the wimmins get punished for having mob ties. This is TFGH. Someone needs to remind them that in certain ancient cultures, prisoners were handed over to the women to be dealt with. Females are strong as hell, people!
  2. Michael is not a mobster, and he is not active in the mob. He's a Corinthos, and everyone knows Sonny is a mobster. Michael has repeatedly been hurt because of this. It's not unreasonable to think Sabrina and the baby might get hurt if they are around Michael and the rest of the Corinthii. "I can keep you safe" is one of the biggest lies ever told in Port Charles.
  3. That Dante would never sleep with his wife's cousin, no matter what.
  4. If Franco had a rivalry with anyone, it was with Sonny. Both he and Franco were vying for Jason's attention. The one part of the James Franco–Franco story I loved was how pissy Sonny would get every time Jason had to go off and deal with Franco. Sonny will not share Jason with anybody!
  5. I feel sorry for Guy in that Amanda isn't really trying to make the marriage work (pregnancy not withstanding), but I don't feel sorry for him because the marriage is basically a business arrangement. He knew her attachment to Sidney before they married. ETA: They both suck, in different ways.
  6. The thing about Anna's story that sends me into a rage blackout is that they're making her yet another of the crazy wimmins. The fact that it's Paul railroading her for his own good is not a mitigating factor. And that idiot Andre is buying it! UGH.
  7. I think the point of having Michael be AJ's was to have Carly bouncing between two brothers—a classic soap trope—and at the time, it set up years of story. It wasn't served all that well throughout the years, as Guza did his own damage just as Ron did.
  8. Same here, and I was impressed by this attention to detail.
  9. Grant had a historically hostile interview with Jon Stewart on TDS Grant was promoting DId You Hear About the Morgans? It was hilarious yet really uncomfortable to watch.
  10. I can't wait to read jsbt's reaction to that.
  11. Anna's story is giving me rage blackouts now. I will henceforth FF all of it.
  12. Nice to see Carly barges into Sonny's office the same way she barges into everything else. Hee. Whatever makeup they're putting on JE to look "sick" is doing the exact opposite. She looks amazing. First, I'm 12, so ha! Second, it's a badger, not a beaver. I liked Ned's extremely passive-aggressive attitude toward Olivia about Leo and Julian. Nice plug for that small indie movie that's coming out on May 6. It needs all the promotion it can get.
  13. The only reason I can think of for him hating the end of the story is that he lost a story that was all about Ethan. He was finally a lead.
  14. It's mostly because he didn't get credentialed properly through her to work at GH. It's very petty. She also hates Finn because he's not scared of her.
  15. Seriously, and there's also this: Or maybe this is History! Maybe Obrecht goads Franco far enough to the dark side that he kills her. We all know something's coming.
  16. That was the updated spa bathroom that Jonathan mentioned when he was describing how the hotel had changed since Roper had last been there. It was a separate room, but the doors were open. I don't know why every gathered in there, though, unless they wanted to see the improvements for themselves? Heh.
  17. Even with the addition of Annet Mahendru, I'm not sure I can watch another season of this. Barry and his family are such weak spots for me.
  18. She got Farrah Fawcetted, who died the same day Michael Jackson did.
  19. "Former" because Sabrina isn't in the apartment anymore. Felix is still there, as it was his to begin with. That's how we know he'll never become Stone Cold. Heh. I love how majestic and regal JE looks in that. She rocks that turban! I know! The crackling was a little distracting. There've been some really nice days lately, so Lulu wearing a sundress isn't that odd. And the community-garden scenes have all been coatless. At least they're consistent, even if it isn't always entirely in sync with what's happening in NYS. (Which, in fairness, it will never be, given lead times.)
  20. I don't think BM will become Stone Cold, though. They've been very slowly showing that he's not all that thrilled with his serial-killer–Sonny-enabling past. Jason has to remember his past in order to create a present and a future, but he doesn't have to take up where he left off. From the looks of him, he's probably part of Magic Milo's strippers. Not IRL, but this is GH, where the law is, how do you say, flexible.
  21. Sophia is the McGuffin—the thing that gets the plot started. I understand why some people want a fuller picture of her, but for me, she's done her duty. I do hope Jonathan doesn't pine (heh; sorry) for her for the rest of the episodes. I've never thought of Le Carré as a soppy romantic.
  22. Did this happen in the PBS broadcast? I don't remember it. We saw a little bit of it. I was wondering what Geordie was doing and couldn't figure it out until I saw the episode description.
  23. The PCPD would solve 99.99 percent of its cases if someone just paid attention to what anyone in the jail cells were saying. Heh. Anna is a bore when she's sobbing about Duke, and Anna F! Devane should NEVER be boring. I'm no theologian, but since when is forgiveness about the other person? Isn't about the person who hurts letting go of toxic feelings? Wow, vintage flashback with Laura and Helena! And Helena in a present-day nightmare! Constance Towers continues to look a-mah-zing. Why doesn't Dante have his own copy of the workbook/therapy exercises? So dumb. I hate that Lulu is doing the heavy lifting here. Oh, wait, it's GH. The women always do the heavy lifting. Previews: I really want Ned to cut Olivia dead, but he's probably too polite for that. At the very least he needs to speak sternly to her about her lies destroying the Qs hold on ELQ.
