  1. IMO, if everyone's in on the joke, they need to stop writing Sonny as the scariest mobster ever. But MB's ego probably wouldn't allow that to happen. They could at least let people legitimately hate him.
  2. It cracks me up that all it takes for Sonny to like someone is to for them blow smoke up his ass. He's such a child. LOL at Finn's reaction to Carly once being a student nurse. His expression was a skeptical "Really?" Hee. I really wish they'd end the mob in PC. It's so played out. If we have to have Sonny vs. Julian, why not have Sonny go after Derek Walls Media? There can be shenanigans without involving guns and piers and all of that dumb, boring stuff. I never thought I'd write this, but STFU, Anna. Just STFU. Ugh, Alexis and Julian. They're pathetic.
  3. I'll never understand why every single story is so doom and gloom. Intentional humor and lightness are not bad things. Even when they try to be funny there's something desperate about it.
  4. There's not much to expose: Everyone knows they're terrible. It's just that because they're our lead characters, everyone has to ignore it. It's been like this for years, unfortunately for us.
  5. That's such a played-out trope, IMO. I know it will happen eventually, though. Will Roper kill Jed for betraying him, or just throw her out of his life, penniless? Zzzz. I wondered if her father had pimped her out to someone? At any rate, it was basically another McGuffin to allow him to be vulnerable enough to cross Roper.
  6. It brought back Robert Fucking! Scorpio, even if it immediately (and characteristically) squandered him.
  7. I can't believe it's gone on for a year. That's waaaay too long for a story like this. The writers have got to start ending stories sooner. Not everything has to be long term.
  8. Yeah, it doesn't look as if Amanda has tried much to make her marriage work, but the show has made Guy so clearly the villain that it doesn't matter. He's violent, so of course she should get out. It's too bad Amanda and Sidney couldn't simply be friends. They're both aware that Amanda is not suited to the life of a vicar's wife, so marriage to Sidney wouldn't be a picnic for her, either, unless he leaves the clergy. And I don't see that happening.
  9. Amy Vining 2.0 is no less annoying than OG Amy Vining, pace Shell Kepler. Jason, you do not get to unilaterally decide what Jake can and cannot do. Also, gross that Jake is "our" son when Jason is yelling at Franco but becomes "my" son when he's yelling at Liz. And then he switches back to "our" when he tries to convince Liz not to deal with Franco. What a hamfisted way for Nathan to interact with Griffin. TFGH. I wish Anna would get selective amnesia where Duke is concerned. Good grief. I need a drink, too.
  10. Sam had a few backstories before they finally settled on the one where she scammed older men out of money because she had to take care of Danny.
  11. No, we saw him looking at it before; it might have been the first time Maxie saw him and he was shirtless.
  12. I'm kind of surprised Carol didn't tell Jed what was going on, seeing how unhappy Carol was and how warm her relationship seemed to be with Jed. Maybe it was to protect Jed? I guess we'll never know. Agree that Jed was naive, to say the least, to believe that Roper wouldn't know about her son.
  13. Hopefully Duke tells Anna to move on. I can't take her sobbing over him any longer.
  14. That's the Gentle Farmer talking—he just wants to be loved, dammit! At least he's paying lip service to having done terrible things. Sonny won't do that much.
  15. It didn't help that Sam was yet another in a long line of tiny brunettes. And that she was also paired with Jax to reignite that hopeless rivalry (hopeless because Jax would never win). And don't get me started on Danny. It was so craven and condescending that she was doing all this for her mentally challenged brother. UGH. I shed no tears when he died.
  16. They're all three disgusting, terrible people who expect to be forgiven for their crimes for various bogus reasons. Franco has no illusions that he's awful, but Sonny continues to cling to his "it was just business" façade. SB's Jason just kind of shrugged it all off.
  17. I can see a "mystery" where everyone thinks Dr. O is dead, but she's hiding for Helena/reasons and lives to torment another day.
  18. He takes after his father: Roper is often snacking on pistachios. I wonder if that's a throwaway detail, or will it be used somehow later? (Chekov's pistachios, as it were. Heh.)
  19. The awards are given for specific episodes, not an entire year. Even GH isn't terrible 100 percent of the time.
  20. The problem is the writers don't want to put the work into having characters get past X. Especially where Sonny is concerned, everyone has to get over whatever he's done to them in a day, otherwise they're just being unreasonable. There's story in conflict. Some might even call that drama!
  21. Hey, Sam and Jason, if you feel so bad about Nina, maybe tell her about the drawing, huh? Instead they just self-righteously huff. Nik and Rebecca Budig are so boring. Someone do something, instead of making toothless threats you don't intend to carry out.
  22. Meanwhile, BryDog cuddles his Emmy and laughs.
  23. We already know that Robin Mattson/Heather is coming back. Keep up, Frank!
  24. I don't know why they even interact outside of necessity, like Jason with Jake at the hospital. Outside of that, there's no reason they should talk to one another. Having Franco stalk/taunt Sam and Jason is not the way to redeem him. Have him go after Sonny.
  25. Levi didn't work AT ALL. I don't think Starr and Hope worked on GH, and I'm still glad they were killed off. I don't think Lauren works, either, but she's necessary from a demographic standpoint.
