  1. Yes, but we don’t know when yet.
  2. Neither my wife nor I were able to play J!6 yesterday; we were both stuck on "please wait". Did that happen for anyone else?
  3. Just like the first season, those three are the only ones who will compete; most of the others served as judges.
  4. The Opening Ceremony will be livestreamed at 6 AM Friday and aired on tape Friday night.
  5. ABC announced this morning that there will indeed be a second season!
  6. It was because of the parenthetical phrases negating part of the clue, the same way Ron Howard's narrator did on the show.
  7. Two episodes tonight in the 8 pm hour, then back to 9:30 next week through January. Looking like those will be all, at least this season.
  8. She's Abbie Eaton ( @abbieeaton44 ). Curious that they didn't name her since it's clearly not intended to be a secret. Perhaps this week.
  9. Ohhh, you must watch "Atari: Game Over" on Netflix.
  10. And a regular on Amazon's "Sneaky Pete".
  11. Mel & Sue's new gig: an updated version of "The Generation Game", set to tape this month and air over the holidays on BBC One.
  12. I had just watched the week's episode of British quiz show "Only Connect" right before Jeopardy!, and TP - more specifically, "American Girl" - was a clue there as well. A bit eerie.
  13. Same here. I never thought to see TP live until this year, and would have but by the time I decided on it, the show was already sold out. Also missed U2+Beck because I didn't want to deal with nosebleed seats in a football stadium. Busy year for me and my wife, though: Bon Jovi, Huey Lewis, Garth+Trisha (last night), with Billy Joel and Lady Gaga still to come.

Olympic Channel is separate from NBCSN. It was previously known as "Universal HD".
  15. When Matt came up with "Racing Whores", my wife asked "Isn't that Top Gear?" :)
  16. There's one more new episode this summer, Sep 7. A second season is iffy given the ratings, but not impossible.
  17. Why exactly was it a BBC-or-GBBO choice for Mel and Sue and Mary, if Sandi still gets to host QI?
  18. The theme tune is the best thing about it! Especially now that "Well, The F Word's here and The F Word's bad" can now refer to the show itself :)
  19. No - in fact, the head writer was quoted this past week as saying no one's even started writing a second series, and if anyone does, it won't be him. The show wasn't any more popular in the UK than here, so it appears to be dead and gone.
  20. I think it will be a better watch if you completely skip the in-restaurant celebrity interviews. Those were worthless. The rest of it had varying levels of fun that are enough me to get me to keep the season pass, but just because it's summer. And yes, the UK version of the show was miles better than this. ETA: it's on Hulu, btw.
  21. The long-discussed/threatened "Top Chef Juniors" kids' version has been announced as premiering this Fall on Universal Kids (the channel currently known as Sprout).
  22. I am mostly jealous of those who have Decades as I've always wanted to see the 6th season (which didn't air on Nick at NIte or Trio) that they're reportedly airing now...although the clips that Sarah Kennedy posted on YouTube weren't that great. How's it holding up?
  23. I think the first episode of the new series was great fun. I.ll hold on spoilers since it hasn't aired in the US yet.
