Another week of 0/5, that's 2 weeks in a row now & my worst ever run.

I didn't like the Mamala name but at least it was a play on her name unlike "Daddy" which carries very overt sexual tones to some & it's a very weird thing to call anyone unless you're a sugar baby or an actual child & parent. So someone like Sarah or Anna, both are more moderate but only Sarah is less hateful.

I hate to do this but I agree with Alyssa about having a visible leader but that may be because I come from a country where each party has a leader & it makes me dumbfounded when there isn't a party leader. I think the Dems do need someone at the head to hold them together & be a spokesperson for them rather than this having everyone speaking for themselves and no party vision for the future. That's the one advantage the Repugs had, the orange felon was always going to be the nominee even if he was in prison so people paid attention to him & his ridiculousness. I don't agree that Biden would have won & the fact that he left it so late to pull out really hurt them because he was seen to be going back on what he said about being a 1 term president when he was originally voted in. Well that & Sunny's question, someone was going to ask it eventually but it was unfortunate it was on such a well viewed show.

That's me out. He's not a likeable person at all.

Just a quick cat/mouse story. One of mine brought in a mouse who then escaped & ran under the couch but his tail was still visible so I grabbed it hoping to catch him & release him back outside. Anyway I yanked it quickly & his tail came off in my hand, so I'm stood there holding his tail while the cat is chasing a tail less mouse around the house.

Oh she knows, she just doesn't care. Straight away today one the first talking point she was asked a question & didn't answer it but went off on some tangent about how she didn't vote for Trump (I still think she's lying) but yada yada, and then got upset when Joy interrupted her to say you haven't answered the question & she went straight back to het yada yada about her own talking point but with a pissed off look. Whoever the moderator is should keep stopping her whenever she does this until she actually answers the question posed to her. Hopefully tomorrow someone asks her about the pardoned felons saying there will definitely be retribution for them being sent to prison.

Exactly what I thought, drugs are okay as long as the orange felon is getting something out of it, in this case votes & most likely $s.

When did they mention that Trump had promised them or even Trump mention it before that pardon? I'm interested in the when & who he promised it to, rather than the why. The fact that he would pardon a convicted felon doesn't surprise me as much as what he was in prison for & how a drug dealer in connected to Trump. I'm not saying you're wrong, just that I had seen nothing about any previous connection & maybe you can point me something I missed.

So I eventually watched & she (Alyssa) has been extremely mean & nasty over the last 2 days and I have a theory (because she specifically mentioned it yesterday & seemed very annoyed by it) that she is pissed because Biden didn't include the witnesses in his Jan6 hearing pre-emptive pardons. I am wondering who had prodded Sarah to mention the pardon of Ross Ulbricht, was it Alyssa to help deflect or did someone else point it out. The fact that Trump even knows who Ross Ulbricht is came as a huge surprise to me as 99.9% of people would have no idea who he was & would presume that his sentence of 2 life terms + 40 years given in 2015 would make him some terrorist from another country. It's certainly a very strange pardon for Trump to give out considering he has never mentioned the guy before & he has no connection to Trump that we know of. Sarah is correct in that it flew under the radar because of the Jan6 pardons & the uproar surrounding those, but why was it given at all? A very very very strange pardon & a little worrying considering the circumstances & the way it was buried in a flurry of pardons.

I live in California & already know how liberal some places are BUT he lives in Texas & you mentioned it specifically so that's what I used.

It might not be what his mother taught him but his father & other males that he would associate with 95% of the time once he was of a certain age would almost certainly be of the same mindset as well as his elders & any religious people he is in contact with. I'm not excusing his behavior or condoning it, I just doubt his mother has that much influence on him & the way he behaves.

Not a chance in hell of any chef coming up with an around the world set of dishes that could accommodate all of their so called pretentious dietary restrictions together in one dish per country or whatever. FFS one of them wouldn't eat ANY raw vegetables or fruit, one only ate Romaine lettuce (I would have just given her a plate of lettuce & nothing else) and that's only 2 of the most ridiculous set of dietary restrictions I've ever seen. I must have said "how pretentious can you be" at least 10 times watching this bunch of self-centered women. Which is strange because they seemed so normal in every other aspect, they even showed interest in the sailing part.

Is that because Texas is ground zero for equality or some other reason?

IF the tips are fake then there is even less reason to not take all of the tip away from them. IF the tips are real then Glen has shown that what he says has no bearing on what he does & if this happened in real life, he would no longer have the respect of his crew & a lot less authority because the crew now know that what he says doesn't really matter.

I got the feeling that the guests wanted the crew to get drunk & party with them. At that point it just turns into a way overpriced Carnival cruise.

No need to stop for 2 of those & even missing 1 episode isn't too bad but 2 months between episodes is excessive in the extreme. When most people have some sort of recording device and/or multiple streaming services it is way beyond ridiculous.

Generally speaking yes, the U.S.A. does recognize marriages performed in another country but weirdly different states have different rules so he would need to check the law in his state.

If the outgoing president doesn't attend because he has a golf game, then all future bets are off & nobody should have to attend if they don't want to attend going forward & any reason that they choose should be good enough for everyone on both sides without any finger pointing from either side. This is the part that everyone on the Republican side seems to have conveniently forgotten because they want an old lady who recently suffered an accident to attend, and it is somehow outrageous because she isn't. I'm not even going to start about M.O., she can do what she wants to do. I'm sorry but the orange felon set the precedent going forward when playing golf was more important than attending, so let's just stop all of the panty twisting & pearl clutching & get on with life while we can.

For a long time now teachers have to teach their students how to pass tests rather than teach them about actual stuff. This is what they have to do & is a sad state of affairs and in no way is it the teacher's fault.

A big fat zero for me this week.

That's because of the channel it's shown on & not the show, Matlock with Kathy Bates isn't back until 1/30 either & that's almost 2 months since the last episode. They're both shown by CBS who seem to think it's a good idea to make people wait 2 months to see the next episode of popular shows even though there is much more competition for our attention now.

5 for $1 here in California at times in the summer.

We won't find out if Glen enforced it until next week. If he doesn't enforce it then he may as well become a deck hand because his words will have zero meaning if he doesn't.
