That's the whole premise that In n Out was built on, do one thing well, so he's not the first to do such a thing. Almost every time I go to an In n Out there is a McD or some such in the same vicinity yet there is no line at them & a 30 minute line for the In n Out drive thru.

The same applies in the U.K. makes a huge difference if you win big, like the lottery or say a poker tournament where the first prize is a lot of money. Also applies if you're a British/Canadian taxpayer & you happen to win big in Las Vegas which most if not all casinos are actually set up to handle should you be lucky enough to win. Local Indian casinos are a totally different matter & some have no idea about tax laws for foreigners & how to handle it so they just take out the taxes or try to & will if you let them do what they think is right even though it isn't. I've had to deal with both LV & local casinos and it doesn't help that the threshold is so low for being taxed, I think it's $1200 for slots & $2k for other things like poker tournaments. There was a huge discussion about it on the Jeopardy board with people quoting parts of the tax law (like they knew what they were talking about) and even copying & pasting parts of it while missing the exceptions entirely.

I couldn't agree more. Every episode since the new season started I have turned to Fiona & said "we don't need the usual game show shenanigans, it's not that type of show".

Yes & they do other ice cream things that look like something else. I remember seeing a tv dinner & hot dogs as well.

For the first time in quite a while I actually screamed “SHUT UP!” at my tv. At one point there were 3 women trying to shout over Christie while he attempted to answer a question they had asked & it went downhill from there. Sometimes he actually talks sense but at least give him the courtesy of letting him speak before shouting “but trump, but trump, but trump” as soon as he opens his mouth. Joy is just the worse, every damn time, and then Sarah tries to shout over here while Anna is screeching over both of them. Meanwhile Sunny & Alyssa are just trying to listen to him before saying anything. I surely can’t be the only person who finds it both annoying & frustrating in equal amounts.

I've just about had enough of Joy & her not letting anyone say anything without her chipping in with what she thinks are funny quips, they're not, this is serious stuff & she just wants to turn everything into a stand-up routine, no wonder nobody listens. Sarah was trying to make a point about Kamala Harris and all I could hear was Joy trying to make funnies & then Sunny telling her she was wrong over & over, just STFU & let her say her piece, I'm sure there are millions who feel the same as she does (rightly or wrongly) so give her a chance to speak FFS. And the piece where that woman said she didn't want to hear the candidates being mean to each other or whatever she said & the first thing we get from the women (not sure who as I was so angry with Joy by then) is "well Trump started it", how fucking old are they? 5? Act like damn adults.

Pay attention at the back 😉. As he said he overstayed a previous visa (just a tourist visa I would think as that is 3 months) & is not allowed to return for a while (6 years ?).

Is this real ? I missed the start but it came across as a short documentary type thing with actors playing the parts while the real person described the events. Or do I have it totally wrong?

I was torn on how to describe it but snarky sounds good, it was well over 20 years ago when I last watched it. They certainly weren't worried about upsetting anyone that's for sure. Sounds like this version might be worth catching though.

That's a very old British show that I remember from well over 20 years ago & I see it's the same setup, hopefully they are allowed to say anything & be as acerbic as they were in the UK.

As has become the norm this show is now filled with people who have ridiculous valuations & just want to be on tv for the exposure & the gram as they say. The first woman embodied everything that has become wrong with the show, overvalued her company, wanted to look important & never in a million years wanted any sort of deal. Every time a shark so much as offered any type of deal she asked for more than her original ask, she is delulu as they say. Oh, for the days of people who actually want a deal & are willing to negotiate realistically & are just looking for a little help rather than to be showered with money just because their mommy told them they were wonderful. Most seem to think they are the next Ring as soon as they walk out. Someone needs to tell them that even Ring was called something different & success came a lot later than just being on the show. Yes I'm annoyed at the whole thing now.

As I said previously, they both said that they couldn't drive a jet tender not that they didn't have a license to drive any tender. Not that I'm convinced they could but that is what they said. Where or who says that they have to be licensed ? Isn't a tender just like any boat you or I could drive without a license or is it a special license for carrying people?

I think you know the answer but short of them saying the actual "n" word no there isn't, and I'm not even sure about that.

I didn't accuse you, it was a general comment on the way people think about tv shows sometimes & I put it where I did because of the comments about the show like how it can't be random which wasn't you either. If you think it was aimed at you then that's on you not me, not everything is about you, sorry. It wasn't even after your comment.
