  1. In the past, we saw Varys get outwitted once, by Olenna Tyrell. But this situation with Kinvara stunned him to the core. Speaking of stunning, this red priestess is that in spades. Of course, we're all skeptical after seeing a jewel-less Melisandre a few episodes ago... When Euron proclaimed that he was going to win Dany over, I immediately thought that maybe he'd get the Quentyn Martell treatment.
  2. Yeah, you'd think Roose would be more likely to have the Karstark on *his* side, if anything.
  3. Absolutely agree, Jeremy may need to use that idol right away, I can see the 'girl's alliance' targeting him as the next threat, even though Spencer may be a more dangerous player.
  4. I think Tasha chose the more risky option as far as getting to a Final Three is concerned. Clearly, she'd be at the bottom of the proposed 'all-girls' alliance (of which Kelley would be the leader, and perceive Tasha as a bigger threat than Abi and Kimmi), but on the other hand she'd be solid in the Jeremy/Spencer group that brings Joe (and likely Keith). Perhaps she knew that Keith was going to vote out Joe and took the 'easy option'.
  5. Admittedly, this is new territory in more ways than one for Kimmi, but I think we need to hear more from her on the game side of things. We didn't get any of that from the other extremely old-schooler (Kelly), just wonder where Kimmi's head is, is she capable of scheming and getting into a strong position, or is she just locked into either a F3 "carry" or a throwaway vote-out within the next couple TCs? Touching story about her son and well done on her for telling it.
  6. Once again, the person targetting Abi ends up going home. Don't know how she does it, it's practically magic.
  7. Seems that way - if he didn't try to be cute and cast a second Abi vote, there'd have been a tie and maybe he survives the revote. He must have gotten too cocky at the end.
  8. Basically, yes to all the above. Why the devil wasn't the split vote brought up, especially since the majority alliance split votes at the previous Tribal Council? Did they get overly cocky or something? It was a very good gut play by Kelley, of course, but it shouldn't have come to that really. The majority alliance blew it, and Savage's story gets cut quite abruptly. Kass - blech, again.
  9. Anyone found it unusual that Abi was quick to vote Tasha, when Tasha was the one who 'had her back' earlier in the game? Did Tasha slip up on Abi's annoying habits to the wrong people?
  10. Coin guy still seems the most intriguing of the new characters on this show. That said, looking forward to Katana Girl teaming up with Bennett.
  11. The woman remains bulletproof. Perhaps you could say that this was Tasha repeating what Terry did last episode, befriend her and get some good dirt on the tribal dynamics at the same time, but she's survived to see another day.
  12. I fear this alone is asking too much from the poor fella in this game. Woo just doesn't have it in him to strategize at any real depth.
  13. All Peih-Gee needed to do is reel in her dislike of Abi and she'd have survived to see another day. All the focus at that time was on Varner. Well done Tasha on spotting the tension and exploiting it to her advantage.
  14. Does the time passage match up with what we'd expect an older Molly Walker to be? I'd have thought she'd have been younger than how she looks, but I suppose she could still be a teenager here.
  15. Frankly, the shooting of the Haitian was hard to take. Like mentioned earlier, he had a mysterious backstory and was a peripheral character during the first run, was looking forward to some expansion but it seems most unlikely (unless they do the webcomic thing again). I'm happy it's back, but yeah so far this seems more latter-season quality (with the various plot issues) vs Season 1.
  16. I like her too, hope she lasts a long way. Hopefully she's able to maintain her current alliance. Among the women, only Kelly Wigglesworth probably matched her in overall challenge strength/performance, although Kelly's now 15 years older. Not sure how her relationship with Spencer is, but if they both make it to merge they could build up on that as well.
  17. The main question I have is, when will there be a food eating challenge that involves meat, to bring back Kimmi's major obstacle (well aside from finger-waving battles)? That aside, she looks good and looks happy to be playing again.
  18. Being in an alliance with Joe, Jeremy, et al could be a nice buffer to keep her around for a while. Her happy dance at Joe's fire-starting was cute, although the prayer references were a bit 'uh-oh'.
  19. Possibly. Although in previous years where they had multiple Kell(e)ys, he would call one person 'Purple' Kelly or something. I really think she's earned some kind of Probst 'stripes', somehow... the same way as Savage and now apparently Dietz as well.
  20. He really was all over the women in his tribe wasn't he? I thought he was channeling that fella from the Couples Retreat movie, getting all handsy and whatnot. And naturally, it backfired miserably as everyone seemed wise to that scheme. I think even Spencer voted him out.
  21. Non-stop laughing at this episode. Brilliant in every way.
  22. Another terrible episode for young girls. Girl gets prostituted out to creepy Meryn Trant. Shireen, most adorable young person on the show, put on a stake to be burned alive. Sigh. Figures again, it's Dorne that doesn't harm little girls. Well done, Doran. The death of Shireen totally outweighs the Harpy uprising, stabbing of Hizdahr, return of Drogon and Dany's escape. I am glad though that Missandei lives to see another day. Thanks, Tyrion, for the timely intervention.
  23. I wonder if Jorah will take the Quentyn route and try to talk with one of the dragons, as a last ditch desperation move to show he's fully behind Dany... With the same fiery finish (which may be more merciful than turning to a Stoneman).
  24. Did Jon ever notice that it was Summer and Shaggydog that helped out when he was attacked by his wildling compatriots?
  25. I was more scared that poor Edd was going to be a goner when the roof started shaking. Best episode of the season, and not just because of the CGI overload. Good work with the Tyrion/Dany/Jorah scenes and the Arya scenes. And Cersei taking stick to the point where she's licking the floor. Goodness. Even Ramsey Bolton planning some covert mission to sabotage Stannis made things interesting on that front. Sansa... with renewed hope? Oh boy. I want a Valyrian steel sword, by the way.
