  1. I'm just stoked that we had more Lucy Lawless, really. Wonder how Coulson got to the beach after May sent him through the hidden elevator, couldn't have been Lola or a quinjet, maybe something extra in his briefcase?
  2. From the recap: That's exactly the kind of speech you'd hear in replay at the season finale. I'm calling it now, Jenn for the win.
  3. Never Throw A Challenge. Some people just don't learn. Bye, Bromance or whatever weirdness Joaquin and Rodney were doing. Do fellas really behave that way? I'm a fella and have never done that with any of my pals...
  4. Good lord Dan, you're going to make me have to create a drinking game in your honour, every time you claim to know how a girl thinks.
  5. Well, he proved to be a diehard fan of the game, although he was clearly too forthcoming with his collection of random facts and trivia. Very nice parting words, though, I'm sure he was stunned but he appeared to take it in stride. His humility there I found endearing.
  6. Wasn't fond of her parting words, it's the usual "I wouldn't change a thing" variety that makes me wonder, if you acted/reacted differently to what happened at camp, perhaps you'd still be alive in the game.
  7. And meanwhile Probst, true to form is practically orgasmic about the 'domination' of the male-dominated tribe in that IC. Mercy, that was so lopsided based on the composition of the tribes.
  8. I tell you what though, Ming Na and Blair Underwood make for an attractive couple. Always awesome to see the rare Melinda May smile/smirk.
  9. I think I like her, oddly enough. Maybe she was a bit *too* thrilled about the monkey relations going on nearby, but when you're stuck on a small island biding time, you gotta find your entertainment where you can.
  10. The less I know about Mike's colon, the better, thank you very much. A bit strange that production decided to 'hashtag' Psalm121, but possibly another way to reach new demographics based on Mike's tattoo.
  11. Hm. If Vince over Jenn, interesting. I think Nina could have become the target at that point, surely Vince wouldn't be that dense to target Joe and leave himself with Will, Hali and Nina and be extremely disadvantaged in future ICs? I'd bet Joe and Vince would have come to an arrangement to work together for a little bit, and Will has just enough more game-awareness than Nina, to ensure he was the preferred person to keep.
  12. It seemed that Will was all about going after Jenn, until Nina mentioned that Vince was concerned about his health. Suddenly Will's mindset goes to "wait, maybe Vince is targeting me" and he immediately jumps ship, with no further consultation with anyone. Seems a bit flighty, but he's secured his spot for probably at least one more TC.
  13. Oddly enough, I interpreted this as Peggy keeping him in the friend zone, partially because it wasn't that long ago that Thompson told Sousa that he had no chance at being with her. YMMV, of course.
  14. Yeah, good luck Lebya with hoping to tie the knot with CJ, he really doesn't seem interested at all. Right now though, they need to step up their navigation game.
  15. So you're the guy who thought eating a raw scorpion would work out? Okay then.
  16. She revealed that she found the hidden Immunity Idol relatively quickly, I suppose it's to convince the others to not vote her out. Definitely astute gameplay on her part to tail So and Joaquin early on, and of course finding the idol before they did. Potential to go far in this game, no doubt.
  17. I thought at first he was that guy from Couples Retreat who was doing the touchy-feely yoga with the ladies. Creepster vibe level: 1000. A bit of a shame, because I liked the "coconut vendor" job title - heck, on Survivor that's actually a more useful skill than what most people are bringing to the game
  18. I'd have guessed she just got stage fright of sorts and lost focus. It was a straight forward puzzle. And then instead of calling for a sub, she just froze up.
  19. Amazing Amy. Persevered through all the grueling tasks and then positively nailed the sort of task at which she's likely well equipped for. You just have to be proud of her. And as for the dynamo Maya, well she kept on trucking and trucking all-smiles, and I don't think I've ever seen a contestant leap onto Phil before.
  20. I feel ya, Lantern7, although I doubt strongly another invite to Survivor. Although, another TAR experience isn't out of the question. For a first boot, she really didn't get much of a look at all at the Reunion show, never mind that she's the sister of the champion. They really could have dumped the "ask random audience members how much they love Survivor" spiel to ask Nadiya her thoughts on things.
  21. I know more than a few Sri Lankans but all have surnames that you'd associate with the region. Looking outside my personal circle, there appear to be a few Sri Lankans with 'English' surnames, but I don't know if it's an adopted name or otherwise. For example the current captain of the national cricket team is Angelo Mathews. It's quite possible a number of English colonists settled and integrated within society and their last names propagated accordingly. Interesting question there.
  22. Oh great, let the speculation on *another* Rupert appearance begin...
  23. Yeah, it's like a stage hand forgot which stool to place where, and Natalie wound up sitting at the stool meant for Jaclyn. I suspect Jeremy was just at a loss for words. He was going to stump for Natalie, but got stage fright or something and wound up rambing incoherently. Cosigned. So, so, true.
  24. Okay, Roll Call of "Players Ignored"?... the usual suspects made the list. Who'd I miss? Nadiya Val Drew Kelley Dale Julie
