  1. And all for nought. Kimberstormer's theory holds strong for another season.
  2. I agree, Maya is just adorable. Haven't seen as much of Amy (well the eyebrow exchange with Phil was awesome) but this team is showing to be quite likable so far.
  3. Cheers, etagloh. I noticed SAS and KLM planes so yeah, Amsterdam was a possibility. Can't remember which plane Tim and TeJay took for example, but recall they got delayed at some point on the way to Copenhagen. I wouldn't have guessed Aberdeen was that big of a hub for airline travel.
  4. Can you imagine the possibilities for nuff butt-kicking if they got Jaimie Alexander back for a few episodes too? May, Morse and Lady Sif. BAM.
  5. I think blackwing's concern got addressed relatively quickly. Liked Bobbi immensely this episode, although chuckled when we found out about her previous relationship. Team's getting bigger by the episode, huh.
  6. Hurricane Gonzalo slowed me up but this episode was well worth the wait to watch, Liked the tasks and the journey, although I'd have liked to know the flight routes/airlines used by each team to get from Aberdeen to Copenhagen. Shame the SAVE didn't get burned, mind you. And as for the Flight attendant team, yikes.
  7. Hm, maybe we got ahead of ourselves. Kelley kicked butt this episode. And good for her.
  8. Wow. He managed to shoot himself in the foot, then put it in his mouth. What a terrible performance. And while I understand that there may be more legit reasons to throw an IC in a BvW style game, it remains the truth that self-sabotage is still a bogus strategy in Survivor. I won't miss him. He can be "chill" at Loser Lodge.
  9. It was an amazing episode indeed, with great lines, and of course some major Ming Na rocking. And ends with Whitehall catching Raina? Whoa-oa-oa. Absolutely spicy. Agree that the Hydra Marketing team are going overboard with their branding. Clearly a bit overzealous with their budget.
  10. That, I can definitely believe. Some of the swimsuits are totally inadequate for anything other than a photo shoot. As for running and jumping, yeah.
  11. Silver lining for Julie is that there's no Rocker-related target on her back now, which would have been relatively huge if Rocker survived that last vote. Now she can carve her own identity on the tribe (well, besides Boobs McGee as suggested above, heh).
  12. Dang, you're right. Who the devil is Kelly?
  13. That was perhaps a bit unfortunate, what with the Adrian Peterson situation now playing out, although in fairness to Keith, there's a difference between a traditional spanking/'whoopin' and what Peterson's alleged to have done. I suspect a lot of it was the major alliance worrying that Rocker was playing multiple sides. Rocker pretty much admitted he had an alliance with Jeremy in place in front of everybody. That's a risk, as far as Josh and the others are concerned. Besides, they've already lost challenges *with* the athletic threat, so it's not as big a deal. As for Natalie's outbursts - I think she took the revelations about Rocker's past to heart a bit more than the others (and possibly also, as a female person of colour within her tribe). From her TAR experience, she (and her sister) are vocal, don't hold back, shoot from the hip. Yes, it damages her gameplay, but it wasn't unexpected from where I was sitting. At this point, Jeremy was thinking personally, and not with respect to gameplay at all. He was flat-out pissed, and probably frustrated too in that he aligned with someone he'd ordinarily want nothing to with, and for naught. He may be able to reel in his rage next time out once he sees that Rocker's gone. The IC itself was semi-interesting although it was blatantly designed to encourage physical clashes. Why the orange team continued with that Josh/Baylor combo, I didn't understand. Must have been random drawing outside of the team's control.
  14. Hydra-branded jackets. Because being conspicuous is for wimpy secret organisations...
  15. Take the crying away (and really, Probst egged it on with his grinning face), and Natalie had a good episode. She got good and genuine sympathy from her tribemates, then rocked it in the IC.
  16. Probably the reason that makes most sense to me too. The higher center of gravity would be a hindrance.
  17. I'm officially worried they're going to talk about her exes for the rest of her time in the game. Thanks, Probst.
  18. On retrospect (and my previous post reminding me of Val's exuberance in hinting at having her own HIIs) I agree fully. Val's own doing. She perhaps had a better shot by coming clean to Rocker and trying to instigate an alternative plan to save her bacon ahead of Baylor, instead of relying on the guys to split 3-3.
  19. I'm not a woman, but I also didn't think she was doing anything out of the ordinary or unexpected with her adjustment. Yes, camera folk put the added focus, so to speak. Twice. Probably worth further discussion in a "Race and Class" thread on this, but I chalk these showings up to coincidence - Nadiya as a TAR-target and Val as a self-inflicted target. Perhaps Natalie and or Jeremy will have a Tasha-like run.
  20. Aside from model-guy being an airhead, I agree. Jeremy was trying to put together something with some of the women, but we don't know for sure if it's stuck.
  21. Thanks JerseyGuy, for reminding me of the seeds Val planted earlier on. Which was kind of dumb especially since it wasn't even subtle. But, why Rocker would assume that HIIs are available by the bushel this early in the game,... eludes me. But this is a Val thread, so I'll rant about Rocker elsewhere. Val: you messed up.
  22. Yeah there definitely appeared to be a headbutt or two during Rocker's joust, which would likely explain his profanity when Probst asked him what's up. Or, he could just be pissed at losing to somebody else. This Immunity challenge setup is getting more dangerous every time they do it. Baylor could potentially have lost a tooth or two after crashing into her mom. Best duel to me oddly enough was Natalie vs Val as both realized leverage was a key tool. I'd bet if either was paired vs any of the other women, they'd have had the edge.
  23. I think Val was shaping up to be very likeable, but it wasn't meant to be. Val was up against the 8-ball as far as alliances went, but I don't know how else she could have survived the next vote. especially if the riff between her and Baylor was real. Personally I blame Rocker for giving her a false sense of security. Why would Rocker have assumed she had another HII, and if so, why wouldn't he have asked her outright if she had one? And, why wouldn't Val have admitted it if Rocker claimed he was trying to save her?
  24. Wow. There are just so many facepalm moments in that interview I'm going to rub my eyebrows off. She's just so bitter I almost* hope they recast her so she can take outright the Worst Reality Show performer title from Francesca.
  25. She appeared to sail through that rock and net climbing challenge. Clearly she's up for this Race. So far, she's extremely likeable - pretty, easy-going and cheerful, and hopefully CBS won't pound us repeatedly over what she's known for, et al.
