Angela & Michael: Totin' Eggs in Powder Kegs
Welshman in Ca replied to Drogo's topic in The Couples (Spoilers)

The way he keeps mentioning it I would guess zero.

Just saw a Geico commercial where the lizard tries hot wings, my wife thinks it's really funny because he repeats everything I've said for years whenever she makes anything even slightly hot, especially the "my lips are burning part". Absolutely spot on.

The problem is more like too much religion, it has been the cause of conflicts & death for thousands of years, way before christianity was a figment of someones imagination rather than just a made up story.

I resemble that remark! I don't have an account so I couldn't get the rest but this is the important part.

It didn't have a prescription label but it may have had a normal label like aspirin would have or he just told them what it was.

I'm totally skeptical about the story but the testosterone itself is not illegal like cocaine, maybe just the bringing them into the country without a prescription is, a bit like my apple story above, I never got arrested for having the apple even though it was illegal to bring it into the country.

There's not enough of it on a KFC bowl to even notice. Someone asked if they used yesterday's chicken in them & the answer is sometimes as most of it goes into their chicken pot pies which is why both can be unavailable.

I think what @magemaud was saying is that he could have moved it from the bottle it was in to a Rx bottle with a prescription label on it if hr had one of course, apologies if I'm mistaken. Maybe he didn't know it would be confiscated or he just didn't think at all which wouldn't exactly be a first on this show. I'm surprised they would confiscate it though, I've traveled with medications in lettle pouches & never even been asked about a prescription, of course he may have been trying to be sneaky about it rather than just saying " I have x medications" and then explaining what it is & why to border patrol or whoever but maybe he just spoke to an asshole, I've dealt with both good & bad while trying to explain something. I did once have a sniffer dog sit next to my carry on at LAX while waiting in the immigration line after I landed from London, and damn these dogs are amazing, I had an apple in my bag I had forgotten about and you can't bring contraband like that into the country. I was both horrified ( EVERYONE knows why he's sitting there) & then amazed when the agent pulled out the apple from my bag.

Married At First Sight (UK) - General Discussion
Welshman in Ca replied to essexjan's topic in Married At First Sight (UK)
So my DVR recorded episode 13 last night and just the one episode but there were new couples so I looked at the Lifetime app & there was an episode 11 that hadn't been recorded or seen & there has to be an episode 12 floating around somewhere. What does everyone else have in the way of episodes? -
Yeah I agree that the boat probably wasn't Russian due to the sneakiness of the boat & their methods, a Russian boat wouldn't care so much about hiding what they were doing. I think it is actually more interesting now than it has been for quite a while, especially with the Golden King crab being a derby style fishery like most everything was when the show started.

The problem isn't people making a mistake that many of us have made, it's people who think it's okay to shoot first & ask questions later. I've gone to the wrong car & got in more than once but that was in the days when people had to use a key & any Ford/Honda/Toyota etc key would open numerous car doors but my go to was always a file cabinet key for helping when people would lock their keys in their car in our parking lot. I've knocked on the wrong door looking for friends houses as well & in both cases nobody ever shot me, why? Oh yeah because I lived in the UK where guns are illegal that's why. We still had mentally challenged individuals but unlike parts of the US they couldn't walk into a store & buy a gun with no background check.

Live With Kelly And Mark - General Discussion
Welshman in Ca replied to Shermie's topic in Live With Kelly And Mark
Imagine starting a new job & being told by everyone that you're useless & doomed after 3 days. Mark just needs to figure out how to tell his boss (Kellme) when and how to shut the fuck up. -
So 90 day fiance was an answer on Jeopardy yesterday 4/19/23, inconceivable.

The disappointing thing to me has been the response of the Dominion chairman when asked this morning about an apology from Fox & his response has been "they apologized to the tune of millions of $s". That's not an apology or an admittance of any guilt by Fox no matter how he spins it & their viewers will just keep spouting the lie because Fox didn't have to actually admit any wrongdoing. I get that they need the money but maybe their lawyers could have pushed for an apology as well after it was obvious that Murdoch & his minions didn't want to actually testify.

S04.E11: The Tongue Has No Bone, but It Cuts Deep
Welshman in Ca replied to greekmom's topic in 90 Day Fiancé: The Other Way
Because they like big butts & they cannot lie ? -
Hate to say it but I agree with Sunny that the settlement wasn't enough & there needed to be a punishment besides money because Fox news can just go on lying with impunity. They should have not agreed to a settlement without Fox news having to agree to put a constant ticker or whatever its called on the bottom of the screen saying that they lied and that they are an entertainment channel & not a news channel otherwise Fox news won't even mention the settlement and their viewers will continue to believe everything they say no matter how ridiculous.

I thought the others sent her because she was good at complaining & I would think the tears are part of her complaining arsenal.

I don't think a Premier League team would be playing a friendly anywhere, never mind abroad in the middle of the season for fear of injuries. 99% of friendlies are played preseason to gain match fitness for when the season starts. This should have been episode 1.

So happy that this won't be another zero on the FJ scorecard but I almost changed my mind thinking that it was too easy.

There's only so much that can happen on a boat in the middle of the Bering sea. Would you be happier if one of the boats sank ? That would be different. Have you tried changing the channel to something more in line with your taste?

The guy refused to open the door to the police as well which makes it doubly worrying along with the fact that the girls knew they had the wrong driveway & were in the process of turning around when he fired at them does make you wonder what he's hiding. I was glad they mentioned this shooting on the show as well even if there wasn't as much known at the time.

Because he can't move without the okay of Ted's ex wife and that isn't happening as it's the one thing she will always be able to use against Ted as well as the fact that she may not want to just give up her child. Hell he might not be able to leave the state without the okay of both parents never mind the country depending on how the custody agreement is written.

Happy to see that some people here have never had a vehicle of any sort break down, stuff breaks, water gets in places it shouldn't on a boat regularly & why would production make it up anyway, more trouble than it's worth. If anyone believes everything they see on this or any other below deck is made up then why watch? Sure some of it is reenactment of actual events for the cameras but once they start going into a scripted show they become actors not deck hands etc.
