  1. When they had everyone on stage during the closing credits, I saw Steven Weber of Wings and Andy Dick of Newsradio. He directed so many series! But-for a lot of them, he just did the pilot episodes. The Big Bang Theory falls in this category. Perhaps he helped shape the direction of the show since the original pilot was scrapped and redone, only the Sheldon and Leonard characters were kept and they were also retooled. They should have talked more about that. Otherwise, The BBT time on the couch was really wasted. And Kaley Cuoco should have rethought her outfit. When you have to tug the hem down as soon as you sit down on the couch, it's too short. I thought the Friends cast seemed really uncomfortable with each other. Even Matthew Perry's video intro seemed forced. Courtney Cox used to be so pretty. Why do actresses feel the need to screw up what is perfectly fine? Low self esteem? The desire to stay younger looking usually backfires.
  2. We have a Signed, Sealed, Delivered thread! Not much traffic since this stopped being a series and they just went to movie specials, but we're there!
  3. The career of TV director James Burrows is celebrated by stars of "Friends," "Cheers," "Frasier," "Taxi," "Will & Grace," "The Big Bang Theory" and other past and present comedies. Included: Bob Newhart appears in a pre-taped segment. People are touting this as a "Friends" reunion. He only directed 15 episodes and most of them were in the first season. It's probably only going to be a blip in the evening, considering he directed all of Will and Grace and most of Cheers. He directed 21 episodes of Caroline in the City, think that cast is going to be there? :)
  4. Yeah, it's sort of a Part 2 toTruth Be Told. There was some discussion of it in that thread, but not much. We don't seem to get a lot of traffic in here especially since they went from being a Series to occasional movies.
  5. Wouldn't vacuuming the confetti be easier than sweeping it?
  6. I know who none of these people are except the Southwest Airlines flight attendant. So for me, this is just another season of TAR! My show is back!!!!
  7. They should have introduced one of Derek's other sisters to come to Grey's. He has 3 others, yes? One we have already met (Nancy-pants). Amelia is just too fragile-the youngest; was with Derek when their father was killed; always trying to live up the Derek in Neurosurgery; and an addict. It's just all too much. And I had no idea that Denzel directed this episode until I came here. Which is nice that ABC didn't promote this as A Special Event directed by DENZEL!!!!!
  8. I could see Logan and Finn making an appearance at a Richard funeral/memorial.
  9. While the premise of the show was always goofy, it lost something when the secret became known outside the Mike/Harvey/Donna circle and when Mike's grandmother died. She centered him.
  10. I hate when Phoebe is screaming and bullying Ross to get Sting tickets for her.
  11. In “Signed, Sealed, Delivered: From the Heart,” the beloved POstables Eric Mabius, Kristin Booth, Crystal Lowe and Geoff Gustafson discover a 200-year-old valentine that could change history, while their investigation of a damaged letter leads them to a public figure who could be brought down by its contents. And in the aftermath of Valentine’s Day, Oliver, Shane, Norman and Rita are each dealing with heartbreaking circumstances. Airs February 21, 2016.
  12. Mame is on now. Lucille Ball was so miscast in this. I get why they didn't use Angela Landbury since she wasn't a Hollywood star yet. But surely there was someone else. I know Lucille Ball had a lot of pull back then, but just, no. Who would have been a big enough star to pull this off?
  13. So do we think that the X-Files will start late because of football?
  14. Sara had no right to try to stop the photo shoot. Vanessa, Edie's mother, was there and gave consent. Gerald, yes. Sara, not so much.
  15. "The Mumps have reached my testicles!"
  16. With all that Mary and Edith don't get along, they did share a look of "Dad doesn't have a clue" when he suggested that Carson and Mrs. Hughes get married in the servant's quarters.
  17. I didn't think the son was dead, but I did jump when he was behind the door!
  18. White Castles are bad enough, but if Caitlyn hasn't had meat in months and then has White Castle...
  19. I'm looking forward to Mum's the Word and I like Brooke Shields, but she's not Abby Knight! Abby is a freckled, curly red head who's in her late 20's, maybe early 30's. She's not 50. It wouldn't bother me if there weren't 16 books in the series and it's a pretty big thing in the book about her red hair and freckles. I have the same nit picky details about the Murder She Baked series. Hannah has a little 2 person cookie shop, not a big bakery with lots of workers making all kinds of baked goods. And none of the bakers are wearing gloves! At least Hannah puts her hair up when she's baking. If these were original stories it wouldn't matter, but these are established series and these details stick out.
  20. I looked on the Hallmark Movies and Mysteries Facebook page and someone posted the same question. The HMM answer was they didn't have any new info on The Gourmet Detective right now.
  21. Until reading this thread just now, I had no idea that Kimberly and Ashley were sisters either! I went to IMDB and looked up Ashley Williams and it is very obvious from her picture that they are related. I adore Snow and Snow 2 (ABC Family movies that I didn't see at all on the schedule this holiday season!). Topic? I appreciate that when HMM has a new mystery movie on Sunday night, they show all the previous movies in the series first. I missed one of the Garage Sale mysteries and caught it last week and missed a Murder She a Baked that I'll catch tonight before the new movie.
  22. Does anyone know if the GGs will be on On Demand? Can't watch tonight and don't have DVR.
