  1. That pref sheet is purely a producer thing. White party happens on every season of every BD show. Molecular food is new but how would tHe gUests know tHat Marcos is familiar or Had some experience? The producers know, so theY proBabLY planned to spring it on him, bUt wait til almost the end, after he’s Been working all these long daYs. Relay race is new but the guests just happened to pack costumes? Yeah right. I guess real luxurY Yacht charters are just not exciting enough for TV, or at least Bravo. I’ve seen big yachts anchored not to far from the shore in the South of France. I don't see too many people swimming or jumping off rope swings or down slides. They’re probably not allowed to ride jet skis becAuse they are close to port and there are all kinds of watercraft there, including people on kayaks. MaYbe it’s different in the Balearics but one recent season of BDM, they were near Nice and they’d just go between nearby ports. So they were always anchored with the coast visibLe. It probably depends on tHe clientele. Maybe older guests aren’t looking for adrenaline activities as much, they just lounge and enjoy the scenery, food and drinks. Since luxury charters are $$$, the clients may tend to be older than the younger guests Bravo likes to have on these shows.
  2. And Henry Winkler is 76 so maybe the age of the actors wasn't something they worried too much about.
  3. The scenery is definitely there. But the places which are expensive are away from the Taormina town center, which is a huge draw because of sea and land views, including Etna, which is to the south/southwest. Below the town center, off this winding road that goes down to the beach area around sea level, there are several 5-star hotels but the buildings are old, though probably renovated inside. But they're on hill sides so they don't seem to have a lot of space. So you don't get the Hawaiian type of resorts with beach access and big pool and outdoor terraces. I haven't stayed in these places in Taormina because you can't even park near the town that easily (in fact you have to park way above town, near a freeway, and then take a shuttle bus down). Now people willing to spend hundreds or over a thousand a night can stay in these luxury hotels, which probably have their own parking. But if they want to go into town, they probably need to take taxi unless they want to do a lot of climbing. I guess we'll find out where they shot and if they have the iconic views which Taormina is known for. I
  4. Yeah the obvious thing would be for Fuches to drop an anonymous tip to the cops, not their relatives. But apparently a lot of these relatives are willing to try to take matters into their own hands. Janice's father looks like one of those types, though he could notify his former colleagues still on the force. BTW that actor doesn't look that much older than the actress who played Janice. After all, she was dating Gene who's older, maybe around what her father's age would be? But I guess the writers thought they could come up with some interesting characters and scenes of them trying to take out Barry.
  5. What's crazy about the chase is that the bikers were spraying bullets indiscriminately, not caring about collateral damage at all and there was not a single cop, no news helicopters, during the whole extended chase. And Barry just walks away nonchalantly after the end of it. You'd think the cops would get there at the end.
  6. Hader said Fuches kept making idiotic decisions even though the universe was telling him to change his course. His scenes like getting rescued is suppose to Be satire on certain types of movies about some heroic journey. Also the way Hader has spoken of Root in the past, they seem to treasure him on the cast so the Fuches character is likely to last til thE end.
  7. Cruise is the proven box office star. plus he’s an EP, probably put his own money into it and gets big profit participation.
  8. There's a little featurette showing how they did The Taylor Chase. Hader came up with the idea himself and the stunt people wanted to do real action movie sequences but Harder wanted some unreality to it to fit the tone of the show. So Barry is nonchalantly disposing of all these assassins, unarmed until the end. Based on the accidental shooting and then these motocross people coming after him, he should have thought something was up. He was just too happy to be having this dinner that he started looking at his IG and figured out the motocross assassins were related to Taylor. But he was munching on the poisoned beignets and I thought the name Goulet would register with him but it wasn't until he saw the card on the table that he thought something was off. Fuches rescued by random people living off the grid? If they took him to hospital, cops would have questioned the Raven. Not only is his life saved, a beautiful young Latina wants him? Kind of like the young Chechen woman? But he wanted Barry dead more than being with beautiful young women. He's not the only one getting unbelievable opportunities. Noho is offered a piece of Beignets by Mitch before it's franchised! And Gene is offered his own Master Class show, which he offers to share with Annie, his former gf. Sally gets another gig at Banshe, which canceled her show immediately because of algorithms. It's not what she wanted but it's a lot better than where she was a year ago. All Barry got was a dinner invitation out of the blue. And the dinner party sucks!
  9. It's really surprising. They must have filmed a coda like weeks or months afterwards? But really I wouldn't put it past these producers to have faked the pregnancy all this time either. Madisson was barely in this season. They're cycling the cast around, like Kelsey seems about to leave and she newer girls have been introduced in the last season or two. Maybe MTV wouldn't have been interested in filming a lot of baby scenes. They already do that for Brandon, which meant he didn't have the usual (fake) relationship drama.
  10. She’s not some great prize either. She could do a lot worse.
  11. Craig was a slacker. He was getting high, getting sloppy wasted. He wanted to use reality show celebrity to sell pillows and hook up with groupies. Bravo put him on other shows where he hooked up and that probably made Naomi wonder what she dumped. That is IF them hooking up is real, not some reality show BS. There are so many fake relationships on reality shows now.
  12. I think the Mind Palace was too much. First season, the sequences with Alex were okay but the did it too long. Then they doubled down. After the acclaim of the first season, they really wanted to make this a vehicle for Kaley to pull a tour de force. She's not Robin Williams. I know she invested her own money into it so it's a big deal for her. But she should think about doing it like Seinfeld, who didn't hog the scenes, had some more talented comic actors in the cast who carried a lot of the scenes. Also learn from that show about "no lessons, no hugs."
  13. Been rewatching season 1 a bit. Ava of course didn’t want to work for Deb. So they are both at eacH others throats in tHE pilot. then after she was hired, they still clash And Ava is openly snarky. quite a contrast from Ava Being contrite so far.
  14. This episode is listed as The Click in HBO Max app and some foreign word, Komi... Inside the Episode they talk about her finding the click or something clicks. Thumbnail shows Kaley, which makes no sense because she wasn't in this episode. I guess comics talk all the time about working out material and finally finding something. But in this case, she goes from putting down other people to herself? So how could Deb and Ava not think of self-deprecation, which is a common strategy for comics, before this show in Memphis? Now she's going to try to get a special or maybe even a talk show in LA? I would think that she could sell out some big theater and they'd be filming it anyways and try to sell it to Netflix or HBO anyways. But she believed it would take awhile to hit her stride with the new material, some of it was going to bomb or just kind of flat, not even impressive enough for her stalker. Eh, Ava's mom's a mess, maybe that's why she's funny and became creative. Otherwise, not sure it develops her character that much. We will see how much bullying Deb's done, see if she's burned too many bridges.
  15. Benny skates again, gets a verbal warning. Jaime thinks it's bullshit. But at least on this 1-night charter, he's working hard, put's his head down and his nose to the grindstone. Jaime and Magda OTOH regresses and really have a bad charter, with Jaime ignoring what Jason and Aesha are telling him and Magda back to the drama with the boyfriend. Jaime does a half-ass job with the dinner and the English Tea thing, which are really a thing, $50 or more for small sandwiches and small baked goods. But I always thought they were trying to take advantage of tourist money, not so much for the English themselves. Magda is losing her mind when she can't find her iPhone. What a commercial for iPhone and Find My iPhone. Jamie also complains to the captain about the mean girls calling him a bitch. Aesha and Brittini call that a bitch move. They encourage the crew to go out, get drunk, get a little too familiar with people taking it for granted that they're all buds on an adventure, just like Benny was saying, he's there to have fun. Well they're not wrong, this is a TV show, not a real work situation where you'd socialize with your supervisors and not respect his authority. Maybe Jaime's a little too sensitive but if he asked them not to call him a bitch, without being abusive about it, they should comply with his wishes. Instead they get Magda to call him a bitch. As soon as the casting director tells them they have backups for the stews and a replacement chef, Jason gets rid of Magda, with just two charters left, but she's just happy to go back to the boyfriend. She didn't seem that broken up about it, wanted a hug from the captain. Why wait until two more charters to fire these people? Because it's good TV! Cliffhanger on whether Ryan gets fired. Well they've been playing up the whole Jason vs. Ryan tiffs so now's the payoff?
  16. Kids are going to have to grow up because the parents are feeling the aches and pains of old age, Paul with his back and Ally with premenopausal symptoms? Ally's job situation is uncertain as well. Can't be all bleak raising children while entering middle age?
  17. She would be expanding as a performer if she did serious movie roles. To win audiences outside the ones who came to see her at the casino, she would have to offer something she hasn't done before or been known for previously.
  18. Not a fair game when she personally knows a lot of the celebrities and Marcus does as well. They took a detour to some hinterlands to buy up some fancy perfume? Don't think of a high end department store in the areas they're supposedly touring, which are smaller towns as Deb works on her new material? Ava found some loafers which were $800! Interesting that Deb would feel some guilt, was going to spoil the Susan and her grandsons but winning the prize made her confess? I guess they want to keep showing Deb and Ava bonding more and more. She seems to feel closer to Ava than any other of her employees, including Marcus and Josefina. Certainly closer than her own daughter by now. Will this tour end in some triumph where she becomes critically acclaimed for her material and wins a new audience, maybe younger than the audience which gravitate to traditional Vegas casino acts? Younger comics try to get into film or TV to do more prestigious things than just standup. Well Ava used to write on a show and that is where you'd think she'd want to return to eventually. For Deb, she may not necessarily want to do regular TV, since another residency would be serious money for her. But maybe she could do some movies and get some acclaim. Some older performers like Tony Bennett have found younger audiences, who love him and not ironically either. So maybe that could be where they take Deb.
  19. Well didn't they tidy everything up. Cassie supposedly had growth this season, that she's messy and now she's also a thrill addict. She's all the personalities in that Mind Palace. In two seasons she's been in several life or death situations. I don't think she even worked a flight this season, you know the regular job she's suppose to have? Happy ending for Megan, now in witness protection in a swanky big suburban home. Does that mean she's out of the show now? It seems like they got a bigger budget and had to produce 8 1-hour episodes so they sed the money on some exotic locales, mostly in the first few episodes, and then a lot of special effects for the rest of the season. This show is the anti-Seinfeld, which wanted no hugs, no lessons. Someone needs to give them a reality check, they had a very good first season and this second season, they were all over the place. No more personal growth for Cassie please, she's had enough to last a lifetime in these two seasons.
  20. And what did he find out from that sewer surveillance? Not much it seems.
  21. Yeah if they did this move before the pandemic, they might have seen deep market falls in February 2020 and now. They make it sound like there's a FIRE movement. No, it's people who earned well but saved well, stuck to a budget and amassed enough savings to retire in their 50s or earlier. There are websites where they discuss things like budgets, investment strategies and such but it's not some movement of people advocating that every retire early. In any event, more power to them if they pull it off. If they have some medical emergencies it could hurt their finances. Hope they've planned for college for the kids. But they have no work or family ties to Spain? So they have or will apply for long-term visas? Otherwise, they're limited to 3 months. Since it's a rental, they can just as easily move back to the US if things don't work out but the housing costs must be much lower than Dallas. Almunecar is east of Malaga, which is considered a gateway to the region. West of Malaga are the glamorous towns like Marbella, which appeal to some jet set types. But good to see some affordable coastal areas.
  22. Leopold & Loeb sounds like an entertainment pair.
  23. Apparently Daisy didn't object or tell him not to do it? Since they're supposedly together now?
  24. Almunecar, Spain - Wow they got a lot for a 4 bedroom, with a nice terrace, for under $1000. That really was the best choice other than the location, so they had to get a car after all, as well as e-bikes. OK the couple are in their 40s and their children are young. They don't want to work but do they have enough money for emergencies? Or college for the kids? This episode could have been in Mediterranean Life but that show seems to be done and on that show, they really only feature glamours properties with water views.
  25. Was the fire an accident or deliberately set? I can't recall. But Chuck was broken by then.
