Track and Field is huge in the Caribbean. Thousands of people attend Champs, the Jamaican High School Track and Field Championships, and it's the same in other islands. My family actually planned a trip to Jamaica around Champs (and I'm bitter because I had to come back home to go to work. My family met Usain Bolt at Champs). He was probably commenting on her running form. I know that I was super impressed by it.

CBC just started airing a new season of GBBO. I don’t know if it’s the same season that’s airing on Netflix in the US, or a previous season that’s new to us. You should hopefully also be able to see it on CBC Gem.

When my sister and I moved out, my mom got a booked called “Empty Nest, Full Heart”. But, we’re ethnic, so moving out before you’re married is a big thing.

As a Canadian, the cast on the show sounds like the people that I hear every day (aside from people with pronounced accents from outside of the country. For example, the actress who plays Dr. Curtis sounds like someone from Ontario.
