It’s a newer thing in Canada, so we wouldn’t go down to the U.S. to shop (lots of people would take the day off). A student of mine honestly thought it was a special day for Black people “because we were so mean to them”. Bless her naive heart.
And that our country is so physically big (second biggest country in the world), with a tenth the population of the U.S., so they couldn’t get inventory to the stores easily. I was so excited for them to come, and was so disappointed.
That was my grandma’s house in Jamaica. There were chickens in a pen beside the house. We had chicken for dinner. Next day, I realized the chickens weren’t there anymore.

I went to the (Canadian) post office this morning and it wasn’t open. I went back later and there was a huge line. I didn’t cry, but might have bought 2 boxes of cookies. They were on sale.
The Instagram comments state that she doesn’t stock the size of the larger models used in photos. Hopefully the addition of the Shark means that she actually will. Size 12/14 isn’t even the size of the average American woman.
I used to be friends with a woman. She and her husband had a terrible time choosing names for their daughters. Took them a month after birth to decide on the last one.
