  1. I am normally not into conspiracy theories on these reality shows, but if EJ comes back with big game after his little trip alone, I gotta wonder. As someone mentioned upthread, EJ has been a producer on this show and he likely knows the staff who will be along with him.
  2. In defense of Jibri and Moira, there are millions/billions? of people who eat and presumably enjoy those stir-fry pre-made Italian meals from Bertolli. They also prepared a big salad with mixed greens, tomatoes, and cucumbers. For newcomers to cooking, I think they did fine and the reaction of the parents was staged and rude. While I have not tried them, I have tried many of the other shortcut frozen entrees, despite being an excellent cook. We are expected to believe that this couple has to be taught to do chores they have never been asked to do in their lives until now. Let's assume that Jibri has been living with the same parents for all of his childhood and most of his life. They have never given him chores or taught him to use the lawnmower before now? With this couple, the script has been written and everyone is playing a part.
  3. When we met Kwame's adorable ex-girlfriend on Summer House, I wondered why they had broken up after so many years together. Seeing Kwame's black fingernails and "charm glove" tonight helped me to understand.
  4. Botox in the forehead and maybe other facial work--fillers?
  5. I have always liked Lauren, but seeing her develop the confidence in herself is heart-warming. I like all of these people and Mike is a superhero to me. To see him use his coaching skills to motivate the others is impressive. The host is totally wrong for this show.
  6. Ode to the electric knife--people laugh, but you can cut the crusts off half loaf of bread at once or cut a king-size foam mattress and turn it into a queen. I also use mine for carving meats of all kinds, especially corned beef. I still use my three-legged food processor I bought at a yard sale in the 80's. Antonia is perfect for this show.
  7. I watch as many cooking competitions as I can and I have to say that this is the best one I have ever seen. The respect for the chefs from the judges and fellow competitors is unparalleled on other shows. I will be truly sad when it's over. I had watched many Julia Child shows as a child, but never realized how funny she was. I am promising myself to go to you tube and watch the old shows. The "vintage" tools they use are just like the ones in my kitchen, with many inherited from my mom and several grandmothers. The only way I have eaten trout in Germany was the whole fish steamed or poached. It shocked me at first, but I learned to cover the head as I ate. Jaine is my favorite on this show, although I really like all the contestants. I love that so many are military vets. I will miss Elena.
  8. To me, Mahogany looks like Liz's sister (of Big ED and Liz).
  9. Watching Austin and Hana chugging straight Crown Royal from the bottle more than once, it's no wonder they didn't know what the hell they were doing. Most of Harry's BS was also alcohol fueled. I had to laugh when Austin ordered "Crown and Dr. Pepper" on one of their outings. Sad bunch.
  10. Ximena wears the same cross in gold, so apparently his silver one is a gift that was intended to be worn as a necklace.
  11. I just got ads that actually say "Healthiest way to wipe your butt" sponsored by Clear Rear. Like I am going to click on that!
  12. I agree Bosawks. I really respect the Austin's work ethic. While we don't see everything he does in the house, these ranch chores wouldn't get done without him. Other than Ebie,, Harry, and Myles, the rest of the offspring are pleasant and trying to do well. The Hasselhof daughter is extremely polite, always thanking the ranch owners for everything they do. I have to remind myself that these are not really kids, but adults with their own lives.
  13. The nanny was still living with Bini after Ari left. We know she is a paid employee of Ari ( Janice) and is likely the source of some of the messages sent to them regarding Bini's behavior.
  14. Trust me when I tell you that Prozac adds an immediate 20 pounds. She may be on ADHD meds.
  15. Those of us who complained about Jenn were rewarded with Becky 🤮 on this episode. Comparing Darcey and Stacey's dad to Mr. Potthast was like comparing Sylvester Stallone to Peewee Herman. Tim and Veronica continue to be my favorites.
  16. From the subtle comments (Johnny says "We'll talk about this later") and other comments that have been made indicate to me that Bao and Johnny have two different relationships. The on-camera relationship is where they try to talk reasonably about their issues and off-camera, they are big time fighting.
  17. I feel like Becca was not brought on to find romance, but as a "senior counselor" like a dorm house mother. Since Chris Harrison is no longer there as a parental presence, it seems like she is playing a role. She rushes to the girls who get dumped and calms them. No guy there is at her relationship maturity level. Not sure about Tia, but she is also a "senior" in the relationship department also. I hate how Bachelor/ette social media has made such a mess of this show. Maybe it always was this business-like in prior years and the editing prevented us from seeing it? And all these random comedians/singers as "hosts"? Gah.
  18. That baby of Dean and Regin is one of the cutest babies I have ever seen on tv. I much prefer Andrei to Jenn on Pillow Talk. I could never understand why Stacey would marry Florian, but on this show, I find him endearing and he clearly loves stacey.
  19. This first Naked and Afraid Love thing is a bust for me. Shelters already built, camps located underneath banana and coconut trees an able to bring surfboards and guitars make me think they are abandoned on a Club Med Rustica.
  20. The segments with Bobby and Danielle were very riveting, while the segments with Liz and Jamie were ridiculous, as usual. I am always amused at these new parents realizing they have created little pooping, crying "monsters" whom they cannot control. That makes Eric's "boy's night" all the more clever.
  21. Molly is my girl! "You can't come up in a fat girl's house with no dry-ass poundcake"
  22. Ok I am annoyed at this show and the one just like it on HGTV! They take perfectly clean, homey places and turn them into dream homes/rooms/yards. Mostly the recipients were happy with their houses before and they were structurally sound. Why not go to the home of a disabled person, a jobless person, an elderly person whose house is falling apart and make it livable? I even feel guilty watching these "makeovers". Every one of these celebrities could do this fix-up on their own with their own money if they were so motivated. Yes, a teal bathtub is not modern, but at least there is a bathtub with clean running water and sewer. Rant over.
  23. Matt had spoken about needing to help his wife's family with their plantation and this season has had several episodes filmed in Hawaii, so I just assumed. You may be right in that they live both places.
