  1. I came in to see if any of you were able to find any more episodes after Marjorie. I have a feeling this might be "it" for this show in general. Many of us have expressed that their methods (three-day clean, intense psychological pressure on the hoarder, toxic family members, etc.) may not be very therapeutic at best and damaging at the worst. We can see it doesn't work based on the fact that all of them re-hoarded or wouldn't allow the team to work at all.
  2. I have hate-watched this show in previous seasons, but I couldn't get past episode 2 without taking it off my recorder. It looks like they have all been recruited from a strip club. Just can't do it.
  3. My favorites are also Lee and the teacher.
  4. I watched the episode of Househunters when this house was chosen. Another house had a large commercial kitchen, so all of the cooks could cook at once. This house had a dated, small kitchen, which they knew would be inadequate for a cooking competition, but lovelier eye candy. I believe that's the reason they have to use the lunch/dinner preps. WE know that the competition would be better if they all had to prepare the same meal at the same time and not be privy to the comments of the earlier judgements. I hate competitions where a team member has to leave because one of the team makes a mistake or is a poor cook.
  5. MY DVR shows no more episodes to record. Lifetime did that to us (or maybe just me) with the last season of Australia, and I had to go to a certain website to finish the season. I won't follow it to a website this time.
  6. Paige has disappointed me more that any other character on this show. She was such a sweetheart when she first appeared and now she is an eye-rolling old biddy.
  7. I think they rent the house for the whole season. While I think the house is cleaned during the week, they have left some of their junk there during the week. It always looks like there are Amazon and other packages waiting on the porch when they arrive on Friday nights. This summering in the Hamptons might be rite of passage/networking opportunity for NYC professionals rather than something they enjoy doing. At one point, Kyle went to find places to sell his Lover Boy product.
  8. I skipped the Bachelor this season and I am glad I get to see some normal guys try to find normal girls. The high maintenance ones will all be gone in a couple of weeks, although there still may be some girls who love their big city lives, but see their futures with a solid guy and a bunch of kids on a farm/ranch/ranchette.
  9. When Kyle is drunk, he loses all common sense. When he is sober, he is just marginally better. I have no doubt that the rumor about Kyle cheating is certainly possible. I agree with those above who think its time for a casting do-over and send the 35-40 year olds home, as watching these middle-ager "professionals" pounding shots, playing beer pong, and eviscerating their friends is just not entertaining. The other nameless SM influencers this season are as boring as can be when away from their ring lights and selfie promos. At least the Italian guy Andrea has brought a little personality with him this last two weeks. (My favorite season was when he and Paige had their little affair). I hope Lindsey and Carl find happiness away from all these toxic Bravolebrities.
  10. On a more shallow note, I am still shocked that a group of 30 something "sophisticated" New Yorkers drive all the way to the Hamptons and order chicken fingers and mozzarella sticks like a first grader in the school lunch line,
  11. Loren's parents have always been immediately available for childcare and support for Loren and the babies. She would not be able to raise those three kids without that support, in my opinion. If she does go to Israel, she won'y stay.
  12. I'm old. I don't get bodie at all. Morgan wowed me.
  13. From experience, I know that the first day of school is something all teachers love. I could feel that same enthusiasm from the Abbott teachers. Seeing "your" new kids come into the classroom is the highest high.
  14. Usually I just roll with whoever is on these shows, but Jessie and Jennifffffer are the worst!
  15. I thought this episode was better than most. I felt Dr. Pepper did her homework on each couple and gave good advice. Going back into each person's background helped me understand each of them better. I actively disliked Nate and I can now see what Stasia might see in him. Mitch seems to be making an effort with Krysten, although I can see him going back to his stubborn ways when the cameras leave. Justin and Alexis both have individual issues that will sink this marriage. ( I could never give up my dog). I love Miguel and Lindy and I enjoyed their sharing. Poor Binh, and I thought pre-season that he would be the problem. Send Morgan home. That whole thing with reading Binh's letter first and her walking out was so bitchy.
  16. All season long Rachel had a beautiful glow and tonight, she was miserable and looked sick with puffy face. She still had a tiny figure, but her sparkling eyes were dull and her smile hardly appeared. The grayish tone to her hair didn't help.
  17. I was off in Pinocchio land where Pinocchio turns into a "real boy", no longer a puppet. Lindy seems to be saying what she thinks and seems to be free of production interference (scripts and such) and projects genuine joy with her new husband. She acts both ecstatic and annoyed, showing varying emotions that match the situation. IMO of course.
  18. I have a different take on Lindy and Miguel. I think she is adorable and a "real girl". Miguel was prepared not to fall in love and just finish his 8 weeks on TV, but he has fallen in love. They both have great communication skills and have the maturity to work out their problems together. Both of them going to school for 8 years minimum has shown their self-discipline. I see them as the couple we will follow with their growing family. Morgan and Binh are so woefully mismatched, experience and maturity miles apart. I kept picturing Binh's mother wanting to jump in that boxing ring and punch her a good one. That rose-dropping lecture by Morgan was over-the-top. Alexis and Justin are not so much mismatched as they are seriously both needing help for childhood issues. I don't enjoy seeing her publicly berate him, nor do I want to see him insisting that she communicate when she so clearly wanted to stay quiet. I agree with what others have said about Krysten and Mitch. I find him the least appealing of all the men, with his whiny disposition. She has such low self-esteem that she was wiling to ignore his unpleasant habits in order to be agreeable. I am happy she is speaking up for herself. Nate and Stacia are matched well, because they both got what they thought they wanted. Time will tell if their fantasy match will weather every-day things. I don't quite trust Nate not to be a player.
  19. Lucky Chucky cannot possibly expect to be anonymous after he has established a prison-advocacy website. That was a poor choice to choose him to participate. Carlos was wrong to "out" him, but that was inevitable that Chucky would be recognized. Chucky is still enough of a thug that it would be believable that he had parole violation of some kind and not have to enter as "Chase". Using former inmates is a good idea unless they have a fragile relationship with sobriety (the recovering addict), have significant health problems, could be recognized by other inmates (Chucky), or are wanting to be TOP DOG like Carlos and others in past seasons.
  20. I thought Kara looked adorable, hair and dress, and those two are clearly in love. I also admire when a couple can stay within their means and still have a meaningful wedding without mortgaging their future over a one-day event.
  21. Minnesota is just next door with 10,000 lakes and it's beautiful.
  22. Note to everyone: Don't eat the beaver!
  23. I am glad this is the last episode. I am tired of every one of these people, although I have admired their skills and fortitude. Losing one's teeth is just an example of how they have punished their bodies. Let's not see any of these "legends" again. I suppose some of them are bound to be on Frozen edition..sighs. Maybe leave at least Matt, Amber, and EJ home?
  24. I find myself comparing these new people to the previous people---Oh, he's a Chris or she's a Merla.....I trust that none of these people are who they claim to be in these interviews. I am looking for the lies, the exaggerations, the hidden stuff, because we have learned that from past seasons. Most of the women look controlling and the men look ill-equipped to be in a serious relationship. Prove me wrong, Pepper and Cal!
