i saw it this weekend too! that dress was a stunner and i think she should have chosen it.

i , personally, would prefer the titles to just be simple and denote each family, not each specific kid. also, i would love to see it be less mean and more neutral since were just talking about subforums. let all the snark be within; keep the groupings simple.

been there before. my daughter had apnea and then my grandson and the twins all needed monitors too. its scary stuff. ETA: well that little monitor will keep them home from CA for a good while. no quick resuscitators there to give emergency treatment should samuel need it.

i think its a lovely picture of happiness on their part. its a sincere smile from derrick and her relief is evident. i also think samuel looks like izzy.

sooo, just saw a fb post from someone updating pictures....of israel. no mention of samuel at all. just israel...and they were the same few pictures we have seen of him in the last week or so. ETA: nevermind. it was the d&j fan page.

you know, i was thinking. most c-section mama's go home on the second or third day after surgery. jill should be home by now. its really problematic for me that not a single person has leaked a hint of what is going on with her and baby samuel. i mean, clearly since derrick cleaned up his announcement post, they know that WE know something is amiss.

i tried to like this but got some weird message saying i am not allowed to like it. i am getting really concerned myself, sew. something is just not right.

question: someone said that their name pattern may be the 'el' at the end of the name. i was wondering if israel's middle name started with an 'i'? then it would be IID and SSD. randomly woke up and thought about this?

oh wilsie, thanks for that kind compliment. my guess would be they stayed at home till the last minute and then went to the hospital for the delivery. so most of the '40' hours were probably at home, starting with the first contraction felt.

in that picture of jill, it could just be the waist of the skirt. she looks like she has dropped so i would be expecting birth any day now. as for michelle, don't shoot me but i think she looks really great, for a change.

cali here. in our county, fireworks are a no-o. and i wish it was a state wide thing. i think the duggers got it right (ref picture of izzy at public fireworks display). we had fires all around us. i hate worrying about that stuff especially on 4th of july. (i REALLY love the big public displays).

interesting that ya'll keep commenting on her background. on my old school computer, it is totally white with a border around it. i bet her view of it is the same, so i am not sure what makes it look different that what you all see. i admire her ability to let it all go with the phone thing. i wish i could too. but i NEED the good camera mine has so i can take the millions of photos of my grandkids. thats a dealbreaker. well, that and tango...i like video chatting with the ones that are far away.

so, i went on a road trip to deliver grandson #1 to my son in texas for the summer. we made a two day trip to arkansas but alas, it was was the south-west corner of the state so no duggar sighting. it was gorgeous country, tho. you can believe that if we'd gone further north, i would have been your eyes and ears for you!

i learned that the Lords Prayer is just an example of the type of prayer we are to say. in all honesty, when i pray, i just talk to God in my normal everyday language. nothing frilly or fancy about my prayer style. i dont know if we have ever heard the duggars pray, have we?
