turpin family update: they are sending in cadaver dogs to EACH of the 4 homes that this family lived in to see if there any dead children buried on the site. they are also doing dna testing on the kids to prove parentage ---i guess there is some question as to if all 13 belong to the family. i said from the eginning that i bet the baby belongs to one of the girls and they are raising her as theirs. also read that the mother said she wanted kids to be able to have a family reality show like the duggers and kate+8. GAH!!!!!! it just gets more and more awful. i made ham and pink bean soup for dinner tonight and i am about ready to eat it. mmm....yummy.

i have long wondered about that - for several reasons. i don't think they would understand snark or even differing thoughts and opinions. i would wonder if they read here, would they get their feelings all hurt reading our 'opinions' of them? honestly, i think i if read all this stuff about me, i would be devastated. but then i don't live in a bubble either.

he has had that haircut since his teens! did anyone see the 20/20 show last night? it was very interesting. the wife was abused as a child herself.

smama, i just watched it to and frankly, it sounds MUCH worse than i had thought. i bet anything that the baby is not the mothers but is one of the girls' baby. i felt physically nauseous listening to that press conference.

so this morning it was made clear that the photos of the house in texas were taken 20 years ago! the new owners thought that dogs had been locked inside thus the damage. 20 years ago!!! this is no new thing for them.

oh guys, i want to put this hear since we were talking about the 13 kids turpin family. i saw on the news tonight that, as i have said, they used to live in texas in a town REAL close to my kids ( i have driven thru that town numerous times). the news was interviewing people that took possession of the house that the turpins had repossessed from them, thus facilitating their move to cali. the new owners took photos of the condition of it. OMG! the floors//carpets were full of huge dark stains (blood?feces? dunno) and the windows were broken and boarded from the inside. the insides of the interior doors had SCRATCH marks from fingernails among the filth smeared on them. i cant even believe what i saw. that makes the scenes from today of the authorities dressing in virtually hazmat suits to go into the house and look for evidence more understandable.

it was documented as the news conference that yes, she had taken photos.

because it is local, it is on the news all the day long. i read in the paper that the fb page is now gone. it just breaks my heart....especially for the older ones. i was looking at a picture and trying to guess the ages of the girls (they were in the front so easier to see). the oldest had to have been mid-twenties when it was taken...and yet they all looked like teens or less. i couldnt tell who was the older, except for obviously smaller sisters. i too thought of the duggars and the common themes of same clothes, same hair...how on God's green earth do people come back from such as this?

this is happening very close to my neck of the woods. its sad and scary. they said the mom seemed dazed and the dad was sobbing when they got arrested. its all so much to figure out. i too am curious what the real story is here.

my kids did!! they are just north of waco. heard waco got a fair amount.

havent watched yet. it will be interesting if i can figure out which one you are referencing....

my granddaughter is 6 and a half and writes somewhat similar. however, mine can read a book correctly that is at least middle school level and understand what she read. the writing is hand-eye coordination and clearly josie dugger has an issue with that.

my daughter had apnea as did my first grandson. they both had monitors for at least 6 months and even up to a year (grandson).....

it is thursday 3:30 a.m. in cali right now. i just home from the hospital. baby girl was FINALLY born at about 1:45 this morning and i got to be in the room. they did not call the NICU person as requested by the specialists (staff felt there was no need). they are letting my kids keep her with them (no more nursery). she will be evaluated and scanned later today to see what her issue is, if there is one. (she has fluid in the ventricles of her brain). she nursed and had a good latch, opened her eyes and naturally screamed real loud. she has blond hair, about an inch long. she weighed 8 pounds, bigger than we expected. she appears perfect ---- no defects visible that i could see. it was beautiful! her name is brennah.

it is all over the local news all day long about the mudslides up there and also locally (not as serious as montecito). heartbreaking. because we are friends, want to share some special news with ya'll. grandchild #10 is on her way!! its been a long morning and not much is happening so they are going to help the labor along with meds (read that 'hell on earth' in my opinion). baby girl has had some prenatal health concerns so her getting born is the first step to a correct accurate diagnosis and the beginning of treatment. i choose to believe that she will be just fine. so anyway, i cant get to the hospital yet but hopefully tonight we will have a baby. she will bring the final total to 6 girls and 4 boys.

that kVIIIlyn name is HORRIBLE. Katelyn is my daughters name and i hate that they messed it up. poor child.
