i wrap my doggy meds in cheese and she eats them out of my hand. maybe a cat would do that too? (i dont do cats at all. they are deadly to me).

so, more bad news around here. northern cali is under seige with fires - one entire whole community of homes is gone...just gone. i heard something like 200,000 acres up there. we had a fire yesterday (still burning) that was about 40 minutes from here that was in my hometown. it was insane. 7500 acres so far. as a believer in the Lord and the Bible, i see hurricanes, tornadoes, earthquakes worldwide; many states here in the U.S. burning away and then crazy shooters killing people all in a fairly short window of time and i have to wonder if this is the beginning of the end times. frankly, it makes me nervous. not nervous for me, but just nervous in general. i am not derrick, but i do have to really say that things are looking pretty gloomy.

no. there is a freestanding building where the shopping happens and also a building for the bakery. they have food trucks all around the green area. the silos are not open to the public, that i am aware of. i think they use them for storage and offices maybe.

i have been to the waco magnolia store (both of them) several times and its pretty much an expensive but fun place to shop. have never seen the gaineses there, tho.

hi all. its been a long week of mostly news-watching amidst the regular chores. this shooting thing has had a HUGE effect on my area in general -- over half the dead were cali residents. many were from my local area. in fact, my sisters chose this year to not attend that particular concert - they are regulars. that is a fact that i am grateful for. its all so sad and rather overwhelming to understand. (i will never understand but i am more talking about just hearing the facts). hope all are well here.

you would be surprised at what you DON'T grab in the case of a fire. in our recent evacuation, i forgot totally about my jewelry and grand-kids pictures but did manage to grab my computer and external hard drives of other photos and my genealogy notebook (100% irreplaceable). as much as i love books and my Bible, i didn't even grab any!

did he go private? it said i was not authorized to view it. but what good would going private do? i am not on twitter so i dont really get how it works.

it may be but it is a common tenet of faithbased belief system. i too believe that babies, even at only 9 weeks gestation, have fingerprints and beating hearts. to me, it speaks of the power of God to create life through us. i can see it as an anti-abortion message but to me, its way bigger than that. its excitement in being pregnant and experiencing that joy. (not saying my point very well, but i tried.)

houston folks, check in when you can. it sure doesnt look or sound pretty this morning. crazycatlady58, that is nuts! i would question that decision to open.
