on different topic, my middle son had been working with me in the front yard for two days and it looks beautiful!! we have been planting a little, leveling soil, spraying weed control, then laying weed cloth and finally topping with mulch. we have one island to finish but that is going to require professional intervention. trying to get it all done within the next week so when our landlords come home, they will see it all and think we are taking good care of their property. even as a renter, i treat it as my own and want it to look like i care for it as an owner would.

anyone notice how thin even her neck is in this photo?

i thought this as well....MOST people have their bachelor/bachelorette 'event' shortly before the wedding so i just assumed the wedding was right around the corner. own't be surprised but i will be saddened as i too think she is too young....that said, if she goes through with it, i wish her nothing but the best.

wishing you great results tomorrow and an end to this scariness.

i wonder how accurate her date is? maybe she is due much sooner than we have been told? looking at hr belly, it appears to be a bit on the low side...

wow! that looks close to fully 'cooked' already! not a good sign for a supposed VBAC.

hi everyone. well we got home last night and he is, against my better judgement, back at work today. they gave him another IV iron yesterday before they released him. he will be on double the heart meds to control the heart rate and hope it is enough. he is going to be seen outpatient to figure out the anemia and where the blood loss is coming from. all in ll, he felt pretty good this morning. so glad to be home and back to routine. arwen, thinking about you!

been at the hospital for three days with my hubby. he has been having a-fib in his heart that WILL NOT correct itself. tonight he is doing better so we are hoping he will come home tomorrow on much stronger meds. in the process, we learned that he is severely anemic - one blood transfusion and one bag of iron transfusion. it hasn't changed much and it does affect his heart. so, i am way behind in reading. hope nothing big has happened that i am missing out on. i will check in later in the week. please do have him sigh up and then update us! this was NOT the something big i was referring to above. i am just in shock right now. so sad. makes my problems seem so trivial.

after reading this page, i sure hope everyone is WAY wrong on their interpretations of jill and derrick's relationships with their family. their life sounds so hopeless, when reading it.

glad to see ya back, HFC.

'What a wonderful Easter Day we've had celebrating the Risen Lord! We are so thankful that Jesus Christ died on the cross for our sins. He restored a path between God and man and overcame the grave through His resurrection. We truly serve a living God, and because He lives we too can have an abundant and eternal life! Happy Easter from our family to yours!' i snaked this from the dugger page on fb. why? because it is one post that i 100% agree with and can relate to. they sound normal here. i hope you all had a glorious day yourselves.

glad you are okay, emma. that must have been scary!

yes, churches of other belief systems and those that have other gods they worship is what i was referring to. specifically, not Bible-based christian churches. my church is a non-denominational church that is based on faith in God, Jesus, the Holy Spirit and the Bible....only.
-
there are many that are not Christ-centered churches; i should have been more clear. that said, i don't want to make it a debate. i was just trying to say that there are churches that do NOT promote belief in God or Jesus.

raises hand....i have always gone to tithing churches, and i thought that any church that is centered on God collects tithes. i don't do ten percent but i do above the norm. its what we believe. as far jeremy's church, his flock is probably very low income and they would just give what they could when they could. there is no bill at the end of the year, no ticket to buy for special holiday services. heck, at my church they do not pass the plate any more. they have offering boxes next to the exits.
