boy, her resemblance with jessa is way more noticeable now too. i am so pleased to see that she is genuinely happy with her choice. she apparently really considered the whole process before deciding to do it. it all starts with a step forward, jill. keep going!!!

my sister invested over 10 thousand dollers in this PLUS bought a trailer to store it all and pull to showings. she lost it all - not because she didnt work it it either. it is tough to sell ugly stuff and you get no choice in what they send you. what you see these gals wearing is the best of the choices...some are so ugly its beyond words. yet, thats what the majority of the business looks like. here where i live is near where the main headquarters is . there are lawsuits up the ying yang going on right now. if mary is successful, you can assume safely that her investment is easily 10-20 thousand dollers. much of that money is probably sitting around in ugly, unsellable stuff.

not sure who said it but, the local hospital must allow videos because they have videos of kendra and lauren. so the fact that they cant film for the show is just an excuse to have a home birth for whatever reason that they want to do it...financial probably. clearly someone was there filming at the first two births. i sincerely doubt abbie will have cameras at her birth...just cant imagine that.

truth told, i am not a natural hostess either. i try but it is just so much work to me.

i was surprised that i have 'said' nurie's name wrong all this time. i said nurie rhymes with fury. but i guess its nur-REE. its a pretty name either way.

speaking for myself -- i had the thought this morning when reading this thread about how hurtful this would be to read about myself. on the random chance that the family reads here, i am going to monitor my choice in posting and temper my words with that thought. now, please know that i may agree with what you/we post, but i am going to be more aware in the future as to HOW i word things. also, regarding all the angst posted about josiah - i really dont see it. he seems happy and affectionate to his wife and now baby. i sure dont want to be the one to put a false read on him. ..and in the future if i am proven wrong, well so be it.

geez, just watched both videos and although i was a huge no-med birther in the late 70's-early 80's myself, i cant believe they CHOOSE to birth that way and film it.. i also was puker so i can relate to that part of her delivery as well. i wish someone i that family would grow some guts and just do things in the manner that they personally want to.

nope. i heard noting. just about a rough preg nancy and vague things that happened along the way.

i just saw it too - by accident. was reading about shawn johnson east having her baby and joe and kendra were posted about below it. so the baby boom begins!

checking in. we are safe in our house still but the smell of smoke is heavy in the air. we have had at least 4 fires within 20 minutes of my home yesterday/today. so far my mountain is still safe. my car is almost fully loaded and even the dog food is in there. our local nature center /museum/animal hospital just burned to the ground. many memories there with my kids. just saw two really good evacuation lists of fb - one for us and one for our pets. gonna print and tape in a cupboard. have i told you all that i hate summer and this time of year where its fire season? i will take rain and low temps any day!
