Okay by whose standards, ours or aliens who think of themselves as superior? Most of the Time Lords considered themselves above it all. The Master has always wanted to rule. The Doctor meddles (in which there will inevitably be losers as well as winners).

That was early in the first season and later thrown away, going so far as to have Sylar comment that he couldn't kill her if he wanted to (as he was figuring out how to duplicate her power). We saw enough examples to suggest he was right, which can be explained as her power developing over time.
-
IOW, no reason at all except this one. The Doctor has commented on how short a human lifespan is to a Time Lord, so she doesn't see what difference a little bit makes, but if it's something she can use to get what she wants, why shouldn't she? People die for the Doctor to get what he wants too; he just lets someone else pull the trigger.

Leonard is a total slut whose only on-screen show of restraint has been when he backed off from sleeping with the comic book artist that he got together with while he was in a relationship with Priya. Stopping with a kiss while shipboard probably wasn't a choice he made, rather than him saying the wrong thing, or the circumstances. -

Then why isn't it a "pair of shirts", since you have two openings for arms? It is consistent with a pair of pants or jeans or trousers. Maybe it has something to do with how these items were once constructed. A typical pair of pants isn't far off from two of the same thing sewn together. In a less tailored past, maybe it was. -
He is, but he told some of the others, so it wasn't a secret. I presume Austin knew and his comment about the boy becoming a man was a play on words since Steve screwed Vanessa (figuratively).
-
I can see that in theory, but just don't see something as brief as what's actually being done accomplishing anything but allow jurors to pick out support for what they've already decided and make them comfortable with their choices.
-
Actually, there are two females who are running for president and have been getting a lot of coverage in the media, so I guess it's not just a BB issue for a strong woman to not get respect. She clearly expected Vanessa to march straight through to a win and had given no thought to the possibility that Steve could snag HOH. In fairness, I think the Q&A and speech aren't much more than a formality; the jurors have had way too much time to consider their votes based on their own experiences and whatever the producers have chosen to show them each week while in the jury house.

Say What?: Commercials That Made Us Scratch Our Heads

There actually are some good American beers if you look past the mega-brews to the local offerings. Sounds you're talking about something cheap a guest might bring and leave in some odd place after he couldn't stomach finishing it. -
I took the judges not declaring a winner enough to get their point across.

Missy and the Doctor are moving in opposite directions. The former used to kill when he didn't need to and would crush them to doll size. Now she generally kills only when necessary and gives them a humane death. The Doctor has become more cavalier about people dying. Intentions aside (and I think the Master has always wanted to rule, not kill anyway) I think the Doctor's body count is higher.

Big Brother Universe: Fashion, Casting, Comps, etc.

Just because you don't like the guy saying something, doesn't mean he's wrong and you can't vote his way (but you may have to pretend you have other reasons for doing so). -
As long as there are distinct levels of suckage, calling down the top of the heap is a waste of time. The judges aren't going to send home a D-level artist when they have their choice of D-minus and F-level to choose from.

I thought she got together with him because he wasn't the kind of jerk she was always picking. I don't see how she could have missed that he was mostly interested in her for her looks (but if so was everyone else, not a deal-breaker). -
Presumably Boone's buddy told the gang that he'd take care of the body because it wouldn't be good for them to involve the authorities (but really because that would out Boone as not being dead). The morgue is an odd place to meet up, but it does remove the possibility of a not-really-dead person accidentally running into somebody he's trying to fool. It remains to be seen why Boone faked his death.

If it sounds strange, you're putting too much effort into enunciating the syllables "correctly" and need to just do it. -

I'd guess they used a song they could get cheap, figuring nobody would notice. -
Would it really matter as long as the Daleks still wound up with the potential for the same evil? In Genesis of the Daleks, they rejected Davros' leadership, so unless they were created with an extreme of warm-and-fuzziness that no one would go to under the circumstances, you may get the same results with a good Davros. At least that would keep the universe from shattering. The Doctor has backed away from changes not worth mentioning in comparison to having not-so-evil Daleks because he doesn't have the same resources to smooth over big changes like the Time Lord Council did.

He doesn't want anyone else to have her. It's also a necessary step if he wants to get started on that race of benign overlords he mentioned, but put on hold after Penny pointed out that his mother wouldn't approve of having children out of wedlock. -

Unless you're talking about the character in a Simpsons episode named "Kit 10", you don't need to be drawing out the pronunciation to make it sound that way. -
I happened to tune across BBAD last night in time to see the F3 get treated with the fixings for caramel apples, an obvious reference to the HOH endurance comp. Anybody know what viewers were given as the other option to vote on?

Since at least as far back as The Dumpling Paradox in the first season. After Penny kicks his ass at Halo, Sheldon complains that no one that attractive can be that skilled at a video game. I don't watch sitcoms to see people fight. -
I'm not sure Missy is any more evil than the Doctor is these days. Evil is often defined by whose side you're on. She comes off as more ruthless because the Doctor is the one who makes friends with the animals and has reason to hand-wring them being in danger or dying from what he does; Missy keeps her distance emotionally. I suppose it'd be too much to expect to see Clara killed off just to see how Missy reacts. Missy had a good point about her and the Doctor trying to kill each other not being that big a deal since they're Time Lords (and can regenerate).

More of a party with friends than what you'd think of as a reception, but I'd expect Raj to want to do it up more than most people would. Unless the producers bring in some extras for the party, you wouldn't expect a bouquet toss, but I can see Penny doing it to make Amy happy. -

No, "PO Box" only refers to a box at a post office. Her address would be the address of the UPS store. If she wanted to be more specific, she could add something to specify the box number, like "PMB 1", in the same way you'd include somebody's apartment number. I don't know if you're still allowed to hide that it's just a mailbox; saying something like "Suite 1" used to be common.
