I could easily see Austin's gf getting upset with him after pinning him down about whether he might fool around with other women while on the show; he may have even been open about possibly doing so as "strategy", rather than just be unconvincing in pledging his loyalty. Whether that'll amount to a temporary rift or something more serious, Austin could truthfully say they "broke up". Who did Zingbot's "upgrade", Microsoft? Very disappointing. I was beginning to think somebody forgot to add Julia's name to the veto bag when she came into the house full-time.

If they don't think they can beat him, they may just be trying to ride to the end while hoping he'll hang himself along the way.

An advanced race could make a robot look like whatever it wanted, and what makes you think they would have the same idea of what's beautiful?

Commercials That Annoy, Irritate or Outright Enrage

I'll bet she's a fave of the sales staff at the dealership. To only get 3/4 of what she paid for her "brand new" car suggests that they totally took her to the cleaners when she bought it. -
The main point of an alliance on this show would be to go easy on each other when assigning skulls, giving the difficult ones to other contestants. That's important because the judges are deliberately incompetent when it comes to factoring in what the artist was up against; if they weren't, there wouldn't be any value to winning the right to assign the skulls (although you'd think the judges would care more about how they look). Potentially, the members could give advice to each other, but there'd be a lot of "blind leading the blind" there.

Commercials That Annoy, Irritate or Outright Enrage

It appears that LM has at least two people who think that, the "poster child", and an Asian woman with long hair who talks about paying "like clockwork". I just saw the latter this morning; why is this woman asking "why pay for insurance?" right after the company ponied up for her accident? -
I literally LOL'd at Dave's comment about the latter. Putting the trident in his left hand would have been better. The wreath could have had a little more variety in its design instead of repeating the same shell all of the way around. The judges were correct to say that this week's work was weak.

The Past Seasons Discussion Corollary
LoneHaranguer replied to anstar's topic in The Big Bang Theory [V]
Watching Buffy may not have been an option for Penny in Nebraska. She described her small town as "mostly family farms, a few meth labs", the type of place where television service could be limited or nonexistent. Even in my suburban area, I couldn't watch Buffy until late in its fourth season because the WB took a long time to build its network. -

A wringer would have to be part of the washer because its the one with a drain hose. -
By "they", did you mean the characters, or the writers?

The Past Seasons Discussion Corollary

He neglected to take into account the relatively rural area she's from. I have no doubt Penny spent countless hours playing the types of video games you find in bowling alleys, pizza parlors, and other places she would have been hanging out with friends or on dates. -

I think they're going for it being remarkable that "they lived" because it was a bad accident, but you can also read it as remarkable because Subarus are unsafe enough that people usually don't. -

Maybe they didn't. It's not unusual to see folks with SNAP cards be very indiscriminate in shopping, picking up whatever looks good. -
Would a Mark Hamill/Carrie Fisher match-up go over well with a 64 yo Mark? (and Carrie didn't look that good on her Big Bang Theory appearance)

I can see MGK's POV, and it must suck to have things turn out the way they did, but he should have known the odds were against him. Yes, but I'm not sure I agree with the way they jumped on her right at the beginning for saying that she wasn't into the masculine look. What she likes or doesn't like is up to her (until she starts insulting anyone).

His liberal arts education was definitely coming through. I think he was saying that he couldn't figure out what he should be doing and wasn't sure it mattered anyway (so he couldn't give the customary explanation), but his duty was done and he was putting it behind him (punctuated by the hat toss).

Can we be sure that's what she intended?

Is it really the face that's the problem, or the choice of background? In artwork in general, you'll see faces like that, bur not with so much black right against it. That makes the shading seem darker.

Nev usually follows up with people who say they know the catfish, on Skype or with a phone call.

Not if they were serious about the HG's having to wait up to a half hour for each "go".
-
Only because each episode was standalone, so they didn't have as much to screw up. The Cozi network has been rerunning the shows, so I'm reminded of how much bad writing and poor acting there was.

Maybe when they say "offensively spicy" they mean that they're racist. They can't be racist because the distinction they're making is not a racial one. I think you mean "ethnicist", but being general and going with "bigoted" works too. -
"In A World....." Movie and TV Show Trailers

I saw an ad for the new Supergirl series that spent most of its time seemingly justifying why it's okay to call the character "Supergirl". If that was an actual scene from the series, I don't watch superhero shows to see political commentary. If not, are there really that many people who would care as long as the character is properly written? Use the ad time to tell people about the show. -
You'd think that a guy who would notice how many doors there are in deciding how defensible a position is would have noticed all of those big honkin' windows. It's a pity that the network would never allow Norrie to cut the plot-line short by using that marksmanship to take out the unborn queen.

If Lana has her own shop, she cam have her daughter around while she works. Most employers consider that a distraction and object to employees doing it for anything more than an occasional special situation.
