  1. I am not sure if Loki's timeline still exist, but that is another problem one should better not think too hard about.
  2. ...I guess the streaming shows continue the tradition of having mediocre season finals (seriously, grab some Agents of Shield writers, they pulled off a feast every-single-time, even for the mid-seasons). I mean, usually that wouldn't have been such a bad episode, it was certainly an interesting dilemma represented there. The issue is that it made everything which happened before seem like a very long epilogue. For the record: I don't think that deleting time-lines can be justified in the end. If timelines wants to war, that is part of our free choices, too.
  3. ...What is this? A live action version of Wreck if Ralph?
  4. If we think of "our" MCU as the main timeline, than Loki is dead, because the older Loki was okay as long as he didn't cause any ripples, but the moment he did he was removed, which means that Loki was meant to die, period. Alternate Loki was okay as long as he was sitting around on some random planet doing nothing of note, but the moment he decided to leave, he created a Nexus event because he wasn't meant to be alive. A better question is how time in the TVA actually works. So do we have a continuing timeline where randomly stuff splits, but not based on what happened first and what last on THIS timeline, but based on the timeline of the TVA???? Because otherwise all the splits would happen at once or they would have to happen the moment the main timeline reaches the point.
  5. To be honest, most of the fun of this episode was in the background stuff. I got a really good laugh out of the Thanos-copter. Though I am still trying to figure out what was written on the destroyed alternative Avengers Tower (maybe a hint to Oscorb?), it was just fun paying attention to the details. And naturally Lokis would betray each other. But it made perfectly sense that the future one didn't, since he had some kind of redemption arc already. Kid Loki was fun. Very omnious that he killed Thor, but it kind of made sense that the youngest and the ones which came after "our" Loki were the ones least like to betray others.
  6. No, I wasn't talking about Turn, turn, turn. That was the Civil war tie in. I am talking about the Age of Ultron tie in one season later. We had: 1. AoS explaining how the Avengers knew about the Hydra base 2. Raina having a vision of the destruction of Sokovia (which aired in the week before the movie premiered) 3. An explanation where the Helicarrier came from (which aired in the week after the movie premiered). You can't do that without communication. Granted, most of the communication most likely happened between Josh and Jed Whedon, but it is simply not true that there was never any communications between AoS and the movies. There was.
  7. Apparently, Japanese. If you had listened closely during the episode, it is a speciality in certain parts of Japan. It is not much different from eating old shark or elk or snakes or insects or cows (from the perspective of an Indian) or pigs (from the perspective of a lot of Arabs). And the whole matter with the special fruits being a good way to deal with the smell was very interesting. Poor bear, though.
  8. Frankly, there are two reasons why some guy might say something along the line about the MCU. One: He was asked by journalist who wanted a juicy hook for an article. Two: He needed some publicity. My guess is the second reason this time around. I mean, who even is this guy?
  9. There clearly was coordination. Most obviously for Age of Ultron. I mean, AoS basically had a f... trailor for the movie in the show. You can't do that without coordination and information.

    Loki In The Media

    love that zippers.
  11. And there is nothing in the MCU which refutes the story.
  12. Well...they acknowledged it in an extremely veiled way.
  13. Damm right we did. May's develop is very understated, but it is one of the greatest character exploration for a so called "stoic" character ever.
  14. Who knows...it isn't really clear how Asgardians age. Based on all the dates given so far, the most logical explanation for who did what when would be that they go through their early years pretty fast but then get stuck in puberty for quite some time. Maybe the difference was simply that Odin never did the "both of you are meant to be king" speech.
  15. Sure, but they are still genetically at least as close as siblings. And there is an actual reason why relationships of people who are genetically that similar are frowned upon.
  16. Didn't they already announce ages ago that the character died with the actor?
  17. Dr. Strange protects the realm, not the timeline. That isn't quite the same.
  18. Or because deleting half of the universe didn't fit their plans...
  19. Well, Mobius thinks it is because they are pure chaos and were basically feeding each other, plus, the TVA had their sensors on extra-sensitive. But maybe, it is even more simple: Since the TVA would never risk leaving them there, they would always be rescued eventually, and it is actually the rescue which will cause the spike.
  20. Regarding what happened to Sif in the main timeline: She wasn't at Asgard when Ragnarok happened. If you take AoS as canon (like I do), because Loki was smart enough to send her on missions outside of Asgard (most likely because keeping her around would be too risky). Last time she was seen was in season 2 of AoS...so roughly around the time between Winter Soldier and Age of Ultron.
  21. Are we sure that the lizard is a pet and not another Loki? Maybe he is the one who grew up with frog Thor? Anyway, apparently boastful Loki isn't a thing in the comics at all, so I guess other than kid!Loki (who we will naturally need for the Young Avengers...is anyone missing by now? I don't think so...the question is just if they do some sort of superhero school series with them, or if they are planned for the big screen. My money is currently on the former), they are just going wild with possible variant. And remember, there were a bunch we have seen which weren't there either. Are they still around or didn't they survive the place? One disadvantage of having Loki as protagonist of a show is that it is hard to buy the supposedly hard hitting moments. Like, I didn't believe for a second that Mobius was dead. I was all "okay, this is either some sort of elaborate plan (this Loki is the master of illusions after all) or the sticks don't really kill (something I suspected anyway, and which was confirmed when Rowena basically begged for getting hit with one).
  22. I guess this episode made it a little bit clearer...apparently it is not about how a Loki looks like, there can be multiple timelines which exist beside each other but the moment they stray too far from the so called original, they get deleted (which must have happened a lot of times, apparently...I guess they deleted every timeline which might have avoided the destruction of Asgard).
  23. For some reason I can imagine how some people might get the idea to stick markers or a cat bell up their b... but I am really confused about the plastic turtle and especially the fork. I really, really hope that the part of interest there was the handle..... CSPAN really needs someone better to filter callers...but maybe they don't have enough to be too choosy.... ...I admit, I have kind of a hard time to feel sorry for the adults which got caught up in such a health care sharing scheme. Because essentially they fell for it, because they themselves wanted to go all judgemental on other people and then ended up being surprised, when the judgement hit themselves instead. I feel sorry for the children and general the members of the family who have to live with the consequences of their selfish decision. But like every scam this is another one which mostly works if the brain of your victim is blocked by greed and general selfishness. Not that I don't think that there shouldn't be regulations against those kind of things...but in the end of the day it is exactly the "why should I pay for others" attitude which is blocking proper healthcare for all. An attitude, which has already killed so many people.
  24. I guess the "Another" thing is just an Asgardian tradition.
