  1. I go there almost every year to visit my sisters. I would love to get more inside scoop on where to sightsee. I'll be heading over there in July, after a stop at my brother's cabin in Montana. 😊
  2. I was thinking the same thing, based on what Patrick said on the show (I know, I'm gullible!). He mentioned both selling/escrow (first house) and leasing (Dallas house)when he talked about all the paperwork he was doing. I am surprised he did not have Thais in on the house decision, unless everything had already happened before she came. Now, he will have to listen to her complain about a beautiful home that is just "too small," as well as a million other things, I'm sure. The really crazy thing, in my opinion, is to whine about Patrick having the upper floor- that seems like a good solution. He has his own living area and can stay out of her way. Bottom line: Thais is unreasonable and entitled.
  3. I was worried about Marcos' ability with molecular gastronomy based on his explanations to other crew members. He seemed to have difficulty with the description, and was focusing solely on making one ingredient look like another. But, he proved once again that he is multi-talented and really impressed everyone.
  4. That was a really fun charter group- such a contrast to many we've seen. Both types can be entertaining on a reality show, but I'm sure the crew were really enjoying this group. And they were generous with the tip! Viva Canadians! I'm dying to know if this Hurricane drink will catch on. It looks like the crew continues to do it on their night off. I wonder if Ashley gets to slap Gary upside the head? (I'm not saying he did anything to her to deserve it, just that it seems like something she would enjoy.) The crew stepped up during the high winds and avoided a disaster. That area was really crowded with all kinds of boats. I'm glad Kelsie went to get Gary when she did.
  5. Was there a specific look Ru was referencing? The ears were elfish, yet she had on a track suit with casual sandals. It was a choice (and I agree, a VERY different look for Ru.) Did you notice it was Jaida who handed Viv the xylophone during the LSFYL? That kind of foretold Viv choosing to block Monet rather than Jaida, if it were between those two.
  6. My husband is Mexican and when we first started dating, I read lots of info about his culture, even though living in California, I thought I knew a bit about it. One of the best resources I found (on something called "The Internet") was a columnist who had a newspaper column called, "Ask a Mexican." It was very enlightening and entertaining and helped me with my social navigating. It must have worked- we've been together 17 years!
  7. Yes, they are definitely from a different class- waiting around for the housekeeper to take care of the problem. Meanwhile, it doesn't bother them to stay in the bed? Any of us normies would have jumped up and stripped that bed in a jiffy!
  8. I'm sure that's why some of these queens were not asked this time- they are being saved for the next round. Other queens they could add in the mix are: Chad Michaels, BeBe, Sasha, Symone, Willow, Kylie, as well as winning queens from international shows. They have a pool of queens for quite a few seasons of Winners. I think they will mix edgy queens with more conventional, comedy queens with look queens, etc.
  9. There is a thread there now. Though, it appears you may not be needing it in the future. 😉 Your post made me laugh!
  10. Regarding Ayan: I heard on a podcast that when asked who her favorite Real Housewives were, she said Jen Shah and named herself! * Jen Shah is another one who tries too hard, so birds of a feather... Also, on this episode, I can't remember which housewife was shading her (maybe Brooks), but she made a hilarious comment about her wig moving back on her forehead (shades of the Grande Dame). Re Sergio and Caroline: I'm reserving judgement about their relationship until more unfolds, but in my opinion, he is the hottest Real Househusband now. 🥰 *Edit: I want to credit the Pink Shade podcast for this tea. It's a fun show, if you like to hear recaps about our favorite crazy ladies..
  11. From the mods: If you hover over each one it will tell you what it is, but for clarity here are the intended meanings: Heart = Love Thumbs Up = Like Clapping Hands = Applause Flames = Fire (aka 'That's fire/on fire') Mind Blown = Awesome/Amazing/Astounding Primetimer color stripes = Thanks Wink = Winking Teddy Bear = Hug Laugh = same as before Useful = same as before
  12. Finally we get an opportunity to use the "mind blown" emoji!
  13. I completely agree with you regarding the improv challenges, and I feel the same way about the acting challenges. I would love this show to add a new writer to the team, maybe those type of challenges would be more entertaining (am I the only one who doesn't go wild over a catfight or food fight?). But, even so, the queens were all so clever as their characters, I enjoyed it. Everything we are seeing during this iteration of Drag Race is top notch. I'm loving it!
  14. Judging from the couture looks of Sutton's French designer, there may have been more than one robbery- this appears to be highway robbery! 😉 Sutton, you've been had! (Along with all those monied BH shoppers who just had to buy one of his pieces!)
  15. As much as I love Jinkx and thought her performance was so fun, I really thought the top two would be Viv and Yvie. Yvie did amazing improv and physical comedy during the acting challenge and her runway was original and edgy. I also was pulling for Raja to get her well deserved star. After watching Untucked, I have to ask: is Monet really that upset about the block, or is she amping it up for the show?
  16. No problem, just hop onto your yacht and head out to the harbor for a drink. 😉
  17. Yes, he was carrying her things to her, purse included. Was that her duster he was wearing?
  18. He didn't go into it in detail, but there was a scene of Jackson forming the tuiles in silicone trays. Jackson was scraping off the excess batter in the scene. Then, we saw that after they came out of the oven, they were shaped while still warm. Jackson said he had to make oodles of tuile accents and judging from the final meals, I can see why. Each tuile was a different shape and flavor. They were like a running theme through out his meal.
  19. Did you catch that shot of Barnaby drinking TWO Moscow Mules at one time? He was drinking each of them out of a straw. Pretty funny! I wanted to drop a screenshot here for you all, but I would have to sit through a ton of ads searching for it on Bravo.com.
  20. Congratulations to Top Chef Buddha. He really hit a home run with his finale meal. I thought he was strong throughout the competition, but not a shoe-in. There were a number of great chefs this time around, as we saw from the finalists. Buddha has strong aesthetic component to his cooking, which was very impressive. The judges heaped praise on his flavors, as well. He has such finesse- his plates are like works of art.
  21. You are much more generous than I am. I don't feel that Erika was hurt by not attending Sutton's Designer event. After all, she was invited and chose not to go because she hates Sutton. (Erika said she was included in the group invite.) Sutton, in Erika's perception of things, was her worst enemy because she asked questions about what happened regarding the Girardi fraud case, directly to Erika, I might add. Erika can forgive those who mock her and laugh behind her back, like Mauricio and PK, but heaven forbid Sutton should read a news article and consult an attorney. Additionally, it was telling that Erika shared with her assistant and creative director that it gets mighty tiring to put on a fake smile and act "nice." Yes, we know, Erika. So difficult.
  22. There is really no Girardi storyline to exploit- this case will proceed slower than a geriatric snail climbing Mount Everest. Unless Bravo wants to throw us a bone and show us how Erika is lassoing the next Sugar Daddy or struggling to live on a reality tv star's salary, her being on the show just makes most of us angry that she can still live her best life after spending all those ill-gotten millions on herself.
  23. But, they didn't give us the "vomit" reaction button we've been asking for!!
