I wonder if this wasn't filmed around the same time as Jinger's surprise party. I thought I caught a glimpse of their friends at the party and thought it was odd they weren't identified since they've been on the show before. So maybe their "arrival" to the house was staged, and they just stayed for a few days after the party to film this. If that's the case, then it would have been December which even in LA can call for pants and long sleeves.

Anyone else getting pregnancy announcement vibes from the matching shirt pictures? Brother bee, brother bee, sister bee...all it needs is a onesie with baby bee printed on it. ETA: just saw on Reddit that someone went to the website she ordered from and they do make a "baby bee" onesie. Doesn't necessarily mean anything, of course.

Wasn't Jim Bob only 18 when he and Michelle got married? I bet they'd let Justin marry at 18, especially since his likely bride is already 18 or 19. They also may be able to squeeze another howler courtship and wedding in before Justin, kind of like how Jessa courted first but Jill got married first. I really don't think Justin is the only male in that family who is currently involved with someone.

I always thinks it's kind of odd when Jeremy's friends visit. James and Seung Hye seem like they would be fun people to hang out and be friends with. Luis and Cara do too. What the heck do these people have in common with pretentious asshat Jeremy anymore? And I wonder (since they've known Jeremy for a long time) what they truly think of Jinger. I can't imagine they envisioned him with some young, super naive, uneducated girl.

My husband is in my phone as first name, last name but I added him when we were dating and am apparently too lazy to change it 🤷‍♀️ My parents are in my phone as Mom and Dad though, so maybe I'm slightly less weird than Jana.

Jill seems to be especially concerned with combating criticism from various forums lately. We don't feed our kids? Here's a pot of soup and a meal with the Plaths. David is lazy? Here's multiple pictures and posts of him working. Kids have no toys? Look! We're all playing board games together. Kids never gets treats/Jill never spends time with the younger kids? See latest Instagram post. I don't know what's driving it, but lately it seems that everything she posts is in direct response to something being discussed somewhere about her on the internet.

Watching this episode now and it annoys me every time they say Michelle "has been through labor countless times". It's not countless. It's 17. 17 times. That's a lot, but it takes 2 seconds to come up with the actual number. And I'm terrible at math.

I don't particularly want a recast either. Could they have a funeral for T'Challa and state he died from cancer, like Chadwick? I could see there being something moving about how there are some things even superheroes can't beat. It would be depressing, but nothing about this situation is ever going to be light hearted. Or do his Black Panther powers mean his body wouldn't get sick? I can't remember what sort of invulnerability he has.

What's a little odd to me about Jill saying they couldn't get it because she's a boy mom is that she's frequently shown herself baking and cooking with her boys. So it's ok if it's real, but not if it's a toy? Must be Duggar logic at work.

I'm in! The weather is beautiful today! My husband is assembling the new swingset and I'm planning to do a little cleaning and maybe read a light romance novel my Kindle downloaded (it's basically a Hallmark movie plot, but with some sex). I don't usually read romance novels, but I'm in the mood for some light hearted fluff I don't have to think about. Baseball is a day game today which is nice. Should be a pretty relaxing day!

Yep! I pay dues every year because I don't mind them having the money to do things (like ordering pizza for teachers during conferences), but I've attended exactly one meeting. They prayed before it started, and I was so weirded out by praying in a public school that I decided it was probably not a good fit for me. It's entirely possible that the group at their school also leans religious and is a great fit for Derrick.

She's usually linked to James or Jason. How old is she? I feel like it's more likely to be Jer and someone else (not Lauren) because he has been shown so much more on the show lately. Kind of like when they started focusing on Jinger more right before she started courting Jeremy. But a Lauren/Howler announcement wouldn't be a surprise either and will likely be announced at some point.

Rewatching because I'm obsessed 😂 I didn't notice the first time watching that when Five returns he makes a peanut butter and marshmallow sandwich, which is what Vanya used to leave out for him when she hoped he would come home.

It took me a while to figure out what was bugging me while watching, and I think it's that I can't imagine them being as gleeful about baby #12 if it didn't also come with babies #13 and #14. They seem way too invested in being known as the family with lots of multiples. If baby #15 is a singleton, will they be so gleeful in their talking heads? I doubt it. Which as others have noted, makes me wonder just how natural their other multiples really are. I don't think I'll keep watching. Could someone please outline all the weirdness and shadiness for the rest of us? The name changes seem really odd.
