  1. If Sheri was doing this roadblock and was the reason they lost, Akbar would have given her hell. She’s a better person than I am.
  2. On the Holderness podcast this week, Kim said her pack weighed about 9 pounds. They said the packs weren’t a problem on the stairs. The main issue was how sweaty they were so it was hard to hold the bottles.
  3. Luke did. When there was a task that required being able to hear.
  4. Sheri, please hit Akbar with one of the wine bottles, head down the stairs, and find a good divorce lawyer.
  5. Also, if you truly are not sure which of two ways to do something is correct, and you see the other team doing it one way, copy them! That way, if it’s wrong, you both have to start over.
  6. The only redeeming thing about this episode was the absolutely adorable kid playing baby Jack who just went right along with the scene and said all the right things.
  7. If they had just turned the barrel on its side I think they could have gotten the top off. That’s how the other teams seemed to have done it.
  8. I signed up for the 7 day free trial, watched and then cancelled. Hope the issue is resolved by next week.
  9. I am soooo upset! I’m in the DC area and just realized I can’t watch it. I have been waiting all day for this! I’ll have to watch once they post the episodes on line. Arghhhh!!!
  10. The other thing I hated about the twist was Jeff making it seem like those who sat out did so because they felt safe and didn’t need immunity. In reality, the two who sat out recognized they were the most likely to be first out based on previous performance and since they probably didn’t have a good chance of winning immunity, why risk being subject to some stupid twist?
  11. What would have happened if only one person opted to do the immunity challenge? Would that person just have automatically had to do the do or die? That’s some bull#%%. Enough with the stupid twists, Jeff!
  12. No. Jan wrote them and gave them to him in the bag. To make it look like suicide. Charles figured out she was the killer by matching the handwriting on the notes to the note she sent him asking him to dinner.
  13. My absolute favorite moment was after Roy left the diamond dogs meeting and Beard did that “oh my god m, oh my god, oh my god”. Awesome
  14. Mr Birch killed Tony because he discovered that Andy and Mr Birch were laundering drug money through the car shop and the Twila center. He threatened to tell the police if they didn’t stop. But then Tony took the money for his wife. The drug gang killed Mr Birch. Maybe because they didn’t get their money? That wasn’t really explained. Andy found the body and was worried it would trace back to the shop, so he tried to implicate Ryan. He was arrested for drug running/money laundering.
  15. I’m wondering if the story of how Higgins met his wife is how the actors actually met. They are married in real life. And the actor who plays Higgins does really play upright bass.

    CODA (2021)

Anyone watch this yet? On Apple TV +. Really well done, beautiful movie that had me laughing, crying, and quite moved.

She’s not deaf. She’s a British comedian who has cerebral palsy. https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rosie_Jones_(comedian)
  18. He sure did. I know this because I immediately said out loud “its immunity, you douche”.
  19. Kat and Max have zero chemistry. The story just doesn’t work because the actors aren’t selling it.
  20. You missed a few other things in the 1st 18 minutes that answer some of these questions. The original head of the hiring committee was in a skiing accident so the university president asked Amy to take over. There was also a scene at an alumni gathering where Tabby and Joe were together and clearly in love.
  21. I liked the new Aurora Teagarden, particularly how the whole club was working together. Good chemistry there. But like all these Hallmark movies, they leave plot holes open. Why did the contractor lie about his alibi and why did he recognize the couple in the photo? Did the son in law have a consulting business and if so, why no website? And what was he saying on the phone about the father in law finding something out?
  22. I keep giving this show chances because I really do want to like it. I think some of the characters are getting fleshed out and that is good. But I still have two major problems. First is Max. He has no fleshed out personality. Who is he? Why is Kat so into him? They are telling us but not showing us and the result is a boring character with no chemistry with Kat. Second is the mom. I can’t help it but Swoozie Kurtz takes me right out of any scene because I can’t get over how awful she looks. She looks like a breeze would knock her over, and all the work she has had done on her face just looks frightening.
  23. This was such a refreshing episode. No ridiculous wants. Just a realistic home buyer. I was particularly happy that there were no complaints about the kitchens not being all white!
