Chelsea and Robbin act like someone forced them at gunpoint to do this race. There is no joy. Especially from Chelsea. I thought she was rude at the castle when she said “I don’t know. You tell me” to the guy collecting her coins who asked “what’s the right amount?” He’s just playing his role, Chelsea. Maybe stop and enjoy it. She looks so dour even in their talking heads that I am convinced every leg that they got eliminated.

The “mandatory” aspect refers to the fact that every team must vote for a team to U-turn. The vote will happen before the leg starts. A team cannot opt out of voting.

This is a great example of how every task has the possibility of being right in someone’s wheelhouse and should put to bed any thoughts of unfair advantage because a team spoke the language at a task last week.

I think part of the reason Rob’s expressions are not mugging is that facial expressions are an integral part of communication with ASL so it’s just part of who he is. He’s not doing it just for the camera.

I forgot about that! But that aside. It would make no sense to use it on this leg when they were in the first group unless they really got tripped up on a task. They will save it for when they are struggling on a task or get lost and need to make up time.

There’s a difference between the express pass and the old fast forward. The fast forward allowed you to skip right to the pit stop on that leg. This express pass you hold onto until a task you want to skip.

And also in a season 1 episode Murder at the Oasis where he plays the police officer who turns out to be the hired killer hit man.

I couldn’t get past the twins’ names. Why do parents do that to twins??

Rebecca and Ted in the airport-sobbing. Rebecca meeting Dutch guy at the airport- sobbing. Colin getting to kiss his fella- sobbing. Etc. etc.

No you have the names mixed up. The Weissmans are Abe and Rose. The Maisels are Joel’s parents. Midge is Mrs Maisel because she was married to Joel.

The other matchmakers are messing with her. They sent the dead flowers, ruined Abe’s shirts, cancelled the flight.

Except the matzoh in the cake was a step too far even for Duff. It was a “let’s throw something I know is Jewish in the cake even if it’s totally the wrong holiday”. Reminds me of how our local supermarkets put everything with a Jewish name on the Passover shelf even though many of the items are definitely not kosher for Passover.

I’m pretty sure David knows how to swim. He’s just not a very strong swimmer and he panicked. It’s not like swimming in a pool where you see the sides and the bottom. With the mask on and the suit I think his fear got the better of him.

I also sobbed through this. What a great ending to the series. I believe the Greeks killed the FBI agent but the cop stole the files. Really well done show and the two leads knocked it out of the of the park.
