  1. Apparently so. Phillip gets one person at the wedding. The rest were the Pearsons and everyone in their orbit. Did Phillip have a best man or any groomsmen? Just the Pearson brothers. I guess he’s perfect for Kate since he clearly has no life, no friends, nobody for Kate to be jealous of.
  2. There was a throwaway line at the party where Madison said “Elijah, you put this baby in me so get me food” or something like that. I was so happy Toby met someone and is happily married in the future. I didn’t realize how much I wanted that for him. And in that one short meet-cute scene he and his new wife had more chemistry than Kate and Phillip, who have absolutely none.
  3. I say this every week it seems but the saving grace of this show is now the adorable little boy who plays Jack. He’s so great with his lines! I’m not sure if they feed the lines to him or they just tell him what to talk about or if he ad libs, but he’s amazing. He stays in the scene and reacts appropriately to the adult actors. What a great find by the casting folks!
  4. His mom was pushing so hard on him getting married and starting a family that he was saying if that happens he would buy a bigger place and rent out this one.
  5. Again the only person I like in the Katoby family is little Jack. What a scene stealer! He reacts perfectly. Says “yay! The park!” And “hi daddy” right on cue. And I’m sure that’s just him reacting naturally as I don’t think they are expecting him to learn lines. He’s so cute! I hope he did actually get to go the park after the scene or he would be disappointed.
  6. I thought the chef who went home was the one from North Dakota who made the Brazilian stew without the meat, not the chickpea chef. But they were interchangeable to me so I may be wrong.
  7. I don’t think they would have had to sit out if Jackson hadn’t left
  8. Seems like he only told them the day before they started shooting. Maybe they had to research before making a decision. Not cool on his part.
  9. Last season didn’t they discuss the choice among the three?
  10. It was. Kim and Penn said in their podcast that the clue said you had to put each rock exactly back as you found it after looking under it.
  11. I feel like this has to be non elimination. Everyone seems too happy in their talking heads.
  12. I actually think it has. It was founded in BC. Greece has hired the best folks to work these tasks!
  13. The clue said they had to eat the souvlaki before leaving the stand. But I did laugh when one of the twins thought they had to eat what fell on the ground and the judge quickly put a stop to that. She must have thought they were insane!
  14. I have been listening to their podcast recaps and it is clear they really prepared for the race. They ran up and down hills with heavy packs, took a map reading course, practiced techniques for memorizing things, learned the flags of different countries. They also are long time fans of the race, having watched every episode. And when they got picked to be on the show, Kim made a spreadsheet of every team that got eliminated and what their mistake was. That all shows up in how calm they are, like Kim redoing the dolmas. And a contrast to Arun and Natalia who clearly just stumbled into the race because they got lost in their way to somewhere else.
  15. That one twin was gagging on the first one too.
  16. I felt very bad for her having to watch the twins gag on her delicious food.
  17. Yes! And it’s way better than the cheese. It’s meat with a yogurt sauce, maybe some onions, lettuce, tomato in a pita. Nothing odd or unusual.
  18. What are the twins doing? First of all souvlaki is delicious. It’s not maggot cheese! And I can’t believe they are eating it again.
  19. Two roadblocks instead of a detour this leg.
  20. I’m guessing the 4 won’t remember the order and will have to do it again. The first group had a much better strategy with clever names for each fish. Much easier to remember bumble bee and Duke colors than random color combinations
  21. Aw I liked her! Such a nice change from the “ I must have open concept, white kitchen, house exactly like my childhood home” folks. She was so excited and happy.
  22. If Sheri was doing this roadblock and was the reason they lost, Akbar would have given her hell. She’s a better person than I am.
  23. On the Holderness podcast this week, Kim said her pack weighed about 9 pounds. They said the packs weren’t a problem on the stairs. The main issue was how sweaty they were so it was hard to hold the bottles.
