  1. It was very telling when Bert declared no baby making till she is in the US. Clearly she never plans to come to the US and doesn’t want to raise Ick’s (or anyone’s) baby alone. I did love the assumption by Dani and Ick that birth control was on him (but kudos they realized the guy does have a responsibility) - it hasn’t occurred to them that Bert has already taken preventative steps??
  2. You all have pretty much captured my thoughts, but i have one thing to add…ALLIGATORS! All I could think of when they started tubing on the “wilder” portion of the river - watch out for gators!! The spring pool was really pretty and I’ve read that the alligators in that park generally don’t cause problems, I just know I would not be able to relax and enjoy the float.
  3. Am I the only one still watching this shit show? I admit to laughing out loud as Kelly tore around the yard on her ATV with that tree bouncing along behind. Was it really her driving or was it a stunt double?
  4. I love a good before and after story. I thought both the “example” house Cristy showed and the episode house were nicely done. Not quite so “ gray and white” as many other reno/flip shows. The house was the perfect project home - that lot was great. But I don’t think I could just listen to Cristy’s description of her vision and be convinced. Why not use one of those software programs (or at least drawings) to help the buyers/audience understand where the reno is headed. I wasn’t watching super closely, so maybe that happened. Also, I noticed one graphic showed neighborhood listing prices all in the same $200k range, so having a $500k home post-reno may not be smart (although if they aren’t moving anytime soon, have the cash to spend, and love it - who cares I guess.). I liked the show enough to watch another episode
  5. Count me in on the dislike of over skirts. This one was particularly bulky where it attached at her hips, and looked like a pair of heavy drapes. Such a shame, because her figure was lovely and the dress itself was nice.
  6. I was waiting for Ethan’s eyes to bug out when Barry said Kim didn’t feel Barry gave her a voice. Because I think Ethan saw it as just the opposite.
  7. Jackson did not look properly buckled into his car seat when Zach was driving the kids around Hillsboro. I’m thinking he should at least have his upper body restrained with a shoulder harness. Do they think viewers won’t notice this stuff?
  8. Ari: “No, Bini, you can’t go wedding dress shopping with Leandro and me because the groom can’t see the dress before the wedding.” Also Ari, when asked who shopped with her for her first wedding dress: “Leandro picked it out!”
  9. I’m so glad someone else caught this, too. They had grilled chicken, grilled veggies, and maybe corn on the cob. None of that, while delicious, needs or goes with yellow mustard. WTH?
  10. I can’t get over having two MMA fighter story lines on TLC currently (also on 90 Day with Bini). It’s like someone in production just got into the sport one weekend, and pitched it in a Monday meeting.
  11. Not a fan of Cha-Cha’s outfit. The hat was particularly distracting. On another note, the mention of Matt paying for plane tickets to have Amy & Chris visit them in AZ…
  12. And then he did that weird thing with his fingers like he was typing or something…like it was a way to help him gather his thoughts. But nope, he came up empty. He looked like a real fool.
  13. It seems like Danielle is pushing Garrick for a third wife, only because she knows that will knock Roberta off the “special” block. Great way to stick it to old’ Bert. It makes me sick how they openly talk of Garrick making babies with Bert in front of those poor boys. Worst parents ever. Garrick seems to have aged a lot - tired, slouchy, hairline receding On the other hand, Dannielle is blossoming.
  14. If I were Steve, I would tell Lindsey “I’ll consider a private conversation with you when you are sober.” She stumbled into the kitchen to ask Steve to chat. Neither Steve or Noi looked super comfortable being trapped in a room with drunk, sobbin’ Linds.
  15. Same with my dad when he was in hospice care and a bit delirious near the end. I took the overnight shift sitting with him those last few days, so my mom could get some sleep, and I heard/saw him do some strange things. He said he had to hurry so he didn’t miss the train. Then he called out to family (presumable on the train?) who pre-deceased him and waved his arms. It was so freaky, I did a bunch of reading afterward. I agree Hospice workers are quite familiar with this scenario.
  16. My favorite moment…at the very end, when Jasmina says, “I always said I’d never leave any type of relationship if I hadn’t given 100%…” and the editors cut to a shot of Alyssa swallowing hard and trying not to look uncomfortable. They really, really hate her. Awkward moment…when the couples all toast at the end, Chris and Alyssa both move into the circle to join the toast. Unfortunately, the couples didn’t slide one way or other to create separate gaps for them, so Chris first tried to enter and then retreated rather than stand next to Alyssa. He ended up standing behind Lindsey, sort of outside the circle.
  17. That’s a really interesting thought. He was certainly showing his friend the site in a “tutoring” or “this is how it works” sort of tone.
  18. I laughed and laughed at that. Ignoramus indeed! I'm editing my reaction, based on the sensitive observation of @StatisticalOutlier. It is a bit sad that production chose to exploit his lack of worldliness for entertainment purposes. (I once sat next to a guy at a fancy work dinner who sipped from the finger bowl because he thought it was some kind of special tea. I certainly did not laugh at him, and my heart broke a little.) But this is O…so now I’m all kinds of conflicted since he loves to say how Kat lacks life experience.
  19. Help me out here…this is Lindsey from tonight’s After Party. She is nearly unrecognizable! Has she had work? What kind- nose? Lips? Cheekbones?.Or is it just hair, lighting, angle?
  20. Fire building is a skill (which is a set of behaviors), not a thing and he was clearly proud of his skillful accomplishment. She cut him down in an attack on his self esteem, in retaliation for the morning tiff. If a toddler draws a picture and asks his mommy if she thinks it’s good, and mommy says “I’ve seen better” - that’s ok because a picture is a thing?
  21. When Mark asked Lindsay to admire the first solo fire he had ever built, and she said “I’ve seen better”, I really wish he would have said “That’s rude and your comment hurt me” and stomp off. Why can’t she see how she does the same stuff she complains about him doing? She is a mess.
  22. Lindsey’s swim suit is reason enough to tune in. Where does that woman shop??
  23. Yes, she said something like, “You put this baby in me, Elijah, and you will get me food(?) right now!” just before Kevin introduced State Farm girl.
  24. Twenty minutes in and I’m cringing. Who throws a giant engagement party the 2nd time? And non-family flew across the country for it? Who sings at their own engagement party? Kate was being flippant at the counseling she wanted so badly. My list will grow… Nope, it’s too much to list all that was awful about this episode. Overall, though, most every character seemed out of character in an extra-chirpy sort of way. It was unnerving. Madison with the “Elijah you put this baby in me” line, Beth with the oysters, Randall smiling big about his donations, Kate being all-seeing in her wisdom on divorce day, on and on. I do love Little Jack. Saved the episode.
  25. Ron: He’s a PLAYER! (referring to Usman calling Zara minutes after dropping Kimbaally at the airport) Me: Takes one to know one
