  1. I would watch the hell out of this.
  2. Premenopause is before. Perimenopause is during. Pregnancy can occur during either.
  3. Ah, that makes sense. Thank you for the clarification.
  4. Girl, I had to explain to my mom what it was and what you do with it when my dad left her, as that was not the kind of thing she ever thought to explore.
  5. I'm not saying I would like it, but it would allow them to give proper closure to the character and allow the entire time to grieve, rather than being a one-off explanation and we never hear about him again. I loved Hotch, and I miss his contribution to the team, but they never did show the team missing him or floundering because he was gone. I mean, they are floundering, but that's because there are too many damned people on the team. And it was mentioned somewhere that Alvez may have nefarious intentions, which is why he helped Reid to get on Garcia's good side. I like Alvez a great deal, but I would LOVE if they did this. I would watch the hell out of that. Alvez as a Scratch plant? Hell to the yes!!!!
  6. I agree. Killing off Hotch would have made for major drama and some damned fine dedication from the team, not to mention the struggle between revenge and justice. That would have somewhat justified bringing in new people as well, because the original members would have been "too close to the situation." The only question would be what to do with Jack. If they were to let him live, it would suck because both of his parents would have been murdered, but they could bring him back in season 20 to be part of the team (J/K), but if they killed him off it would increase the drama exponentially.
  7. I agree that Emma felt wooden in the beginning and all the way up past Be Our Guest. I know she was more modern and educated, but she seemed so accepting of the things she was seeing and not filled with enough wonder. I thought she was much better the second half of the movie. I didn't care for her singing in Belle, but thought it had improved by Something There. CGI beast was fine. I wasn't expecting much - just hoping for a better quality that Jumanji, which we got. I had never seen Luke Evans before, and while it took me a bit to see him as Gaston physically, he got the attitude down perfectly and hit the singing right out of the park. LeFou was played much too modern for my taste. I felt like he belonged in another movie set much later in time. I thought he did a good job of showing disillusionment with Gaston over time though. I thought I had missed the "gay scene" at first, and when I finally saw it, I couldn't believe people were making such a big deal out of it. It was literally three seconds. Hated the wigs and whiteface, but I hate them in any movie. At the beginning I thought I had walked into the Scarlet Pimpernel by mistake.
  8. My husband and I just rented this last night. If you remove the special effects, there's what? Twelve minutes of movie? We didn't hate it; it just didn't do anything for us. BC did a good job of being a raging asshole, and I have met plenty of surgeons who fit the bill. I'd like to know how he was penniless so quickly though. Just one of those Petit Phillip watches was anywhere between 1-2 million dollars. I asked my husband (he's Chinese) if the whitewashing bothered him and he said, "I couldn't give a crap. I just want to be entertained." Lol. Most of the scenes that we were making fun of were the medical scenes (no mask, touching things after scrubbing, the ER physician assisting a surgery, Dr. Strange saying he could have done better with his hands - he's a neurosurgeon, not an orthopod (i.e. he wouldn't be placing pins in jack sh*t), him refusing to take ER call, Dr. Palmer doing a paracentesis alone with no assistance, Dr. Strange getting stabbed enough to get a pericardial effusion but not a pneumothorax? Bah! Loved the librarian's character (can't remember his name, Wong?) I couldn't understand why some people were calling him the manservant though when he wasn't. Felt bad for the original librarian.
  9. Oof! Right in the feels. This will piss me off if it happens. It's ridiculous when characters blame their friends for trying to help them. I hated it in the earlier seasons also when Reid was such a dick to Emily because he was addicted. It made no sense and it made me dislike Reid intensely in that arc. I'm in the camp that likes Alvez. I think they are writing him as an all around 'good guy' and the actor totally sells it. I can see why he is getting more focus, because Rossi is becoming dull even when he has lines and JJ has been too inconsistent for me to care about anything she is doing.
  10. Just adding my agreement that while Gibson did a great job in Route 66, the story was terrible. I never hated Beth, but I thought they were pushing too hard to get her accepted by the fandom. I loved the other moments with Haley, and wished they had him do even more introspection about the time he was spending with Jack. The Foyet part was stupid.
  11. You are probably right, but if they are well written and well acted, it will still be funny as hell.
  12. Interesting tidbit: Jim Clemente is a huge fan of Judge Judy. He has complemented her several times on his podcast and states that she knows the law backwards and forwards, and that she is fair and objective. Of course, he has also mentioned those judges that he personally encountered that he has felt were irresponsible and unjust. If he has any part of this story arc, I hope he writes the judge like Judy. His treatment of Reid in the past diminishes that hope somewhat.
  13. I like Luke also. He has a very affable quality and I like that he laughs at Garcia. Garcia, on the other hand, can go away anytime. I agree that Emily still doesn't seem to be "in charge" to me. I feel like it's a joint venture with her and Rossi, and I just don't feel like the team has direction. Another very unpopular opinion: while I think MGG is doing an excellent job with the material he is given, the appeal of Spencer Reid that was so prevalent in the first seasons is gone for me. I hate the hair, the persistent hang dog look (not just present in the current arc), the boyish persona in a man that is in his mid-late 30's. I really wish they would let him grow up. My apologies to those of you who love him - no disrespect intended.
  14. I would watch that man all day long. *sigh*
  15. *shudder* Nothing like a porn 'stache to make a perfectly good looking man appear skeevy. Forgive me, ladies.
  16. I see what you did there...and I approve.
  17. That's exactly what I thought when I read that. Derek Morgan moves to LA.
  18. You seriously must know these people personally, because I have no idea if AJ is lovely or not or if JLH is truly arrogant. Sometimes getting pregnant just happens, and multiple pregnancies in one office happen frequently, so I don't see how it is JLH's fault that the writers chose not to just have them both be pregnant at the same time. Additionally, if AJ's and her baby's health was at stake, she could not be forced to perform stunts. The writers and director put her in those situations, and she chose to perform them. Although I never watched it, JLH was the star of The Ghost Whisperer for 5 years, which is pretty good for a TV show, albeit nothing like CM, but very shows are like CM, so I have to disagree that EVERYTHING she is on does poorly. I get that you feel strongly about this, but even if I obsessed about every social media and TV appearance they were a part of, I still don't know these two ladies, and I would be loathe to make character assumptions otherwise. Your MMV of course, and my particular drive down this lane ends here.
  19. I agree that she didn't add much to the show for me, but I don't get the hate. While it is pretty lousy that she doesn't tell her fans to back off on the bullying, it is not her fault that her fans are bullying. She could speak out about it and they don't have to listen. Let's keep the blame with the bullies, please.
  20. Apparently, Chris Christie had lunch at the White House with Donald Trump and Trump told Christie what he would be having for lunch, despite telling other members of the party to order whatever they wanted off the menu. And the cape thing? Try this. I didn't pay that much for my wedding dress.
  21. Franky, my sincere condolences on your loss. Should you need it, I highly recommend making use of their bereavement program. It's just a little extra something for support. On topic: I really hope they don't kill Diana off at this point. She is having symptoms of early onset Alzheimer's, but overall she is still highly functional and would not be classified as end stage by any means. Undercover or not, I just can't see Spencer in jail. It better be some darned good writing to get me to buy that story.
  22. Hey, at least we know it will be better than the poorly written, useless and idiotic Belle from Once Upon a Time.
  23. Oof. I hope not. We have a huge meth problem where I live and have had several patients die due to tainted shipments. You just don't know what you are getting. Great theory though.
  24. This is actually quite realistic, because she is currently on the worst 6 week period of her life, and who wants to screw with holding your skirt up and getting your pretty tights possibly ruined while you change your padding nearly every two hours. Plus, her hormones are crashing, so weeping spells and hot flashes are common as well. Sorry for the TMI.
