  1. Bwahahaha! My apologies. Yes, Mellissa. Thank you both for the correction.
  2. That was great! Thanks for sharing it. I totally want to hang out with Richard and Michelle.
  3. I never said my explanation was good, but it did work with most of what we say. However, I like your IA theory much better.
  4. So, I don't believe for a minute Harper and Nolan would totally risk all of this. I think after finding out that Armstrong had gotten a new burner that she clued Grey in or maybe even Lopez. I think Nolan told Rosalyn he wasn't going to clue Harper in to the break in case Armstrong spoke to Rosalyn. I also don't think Nolan broke in alone. It made sense for him to do it because Armstrong would think he was smarter than Nolan. I think if Nolan wasn't wired, then the authorities had already wired Armstrong's house. I think Nolan dashed back because they are trying to get those crime brothers as well. I think Grey was already clued in when that cop named Nolan as on the take. I think once Nolan found the evidence and money, he radioed someone so they could officially arrest Armstrong. Boom, wrapped up in one episode.
  5. I agree this was disappointing. Taking the rest to the speculation thread.
  6. I don't see how the hack was recent. There were seven new credit cards in his name. They wouldn't have automatically tanked his credit score unless they were in default, so it had to have been a few months at least, right?
  7. Nolan is an idiot if he only checks his account every six months. Also, my credit card company tells me if my credit score changes. That was...dumb. Don't talk or look at the inmate, but I'm going to let him stand right in front of you. That was stupid.
  8. I agree that the guy playing Nolan's brother was odd. I didn't think his acting was particularly good, and several times I felt he was struggling not to look at the camera. I didn't know who Pete Davidson was before reading these comments, so i thought he was the guy from Jackass trying to make it as an actor. I also don't like how Nolan is turning into everybody's hero. I know he would grow and learn and still wouldn't be a green Rookie, because the learning curve is fast, but he is starting to act like some of the well seasoned officers. I almost feel like they are doing these ridiculous storylines because he has nothing left to learn, just experience, and I think that is a mistake. I think the writing for Lopez and West is better because he will toss out ideas and she will say "No, because XYZ." I doing think the Bradford and Chen have chemistry, but I don't want to see them together. It's too easy and predictable, and I like Bradford's current girlfriend. They compliment each other well.
  9. Nolan's kid is boring as sin. They also missed an opportunity to have Molly Quinn play the girlfriend, provided they don't think she is too old. I actually did like the girlfriend's story. Revenge porn is a thing and it doesn't get prosecuted as much as it should, because so many people still harp on "she should have kept her legs closed." I can see a young girl feeling powerless and wanting some of that power back and making a poor decision. I'm not an Ali Larter fan either, but she has way more chemistry with Nolan than Jess does, and this is coming from someone who LOVES Sarah Shahi.
  10. I would have just gone up to my kid and made sure it was pointed away before he hurt himself. Or tackled him. The cop would not have had the opportunity. You do what you have to do to protect your kids. I had to go back and rewatch because I could not believe that was Jon Huertas. I did not recognize him at all upon first watch, and that scene with the bone saw was stupid. I liked the girl that Bradford got set up with. Mostly I think Bradford looks sweet when he smiles.
  11. Hell, if Darlene could have afforded it and Dan wouldn't take it, that's when you SAVE that shit. Ugh. These people exasperate me. Darlene only got that job based on Krystal's recommendation! And she even though that was beneath her, when it was good pay with medical benefits for her kids. Didn't she quit because she got sick of some guy hitting on her? This is an excellent point. I know he wasn't a kid, but if the money went to Darlene and Becky, they could have given it to Dan. I read an article about the writers of the show, and all the female writers said they have never met a man like Ben who would put up with that. Truth. I hated Jackie's bit at the end, but I did like the smackdown she got. I'm still going to watch, but except for Dan and Louise it's mostly hate-watching.
  12. Although I hate that Becky married Emilio and he still snuck back into the country, I think Emilio is sweet and he seems like the kind of guy who would love Becky and treat her well simply because she is the mother of his child. I just don't want Becky getting into trouble. That was ridiculous of Dan to let it go that long. There are hardship circumstances, refinancing at lower rates, talking to your DAMN kids, all kinds of things that could have been done. Becky especially needs to be helping because she is doing the restaurant AND still working at the bar. She doesn't pay for babysitting either. I want to date Ben. I will give him all the love and snark he craves and I won't make him second to everyone else.
  13. To be fair, Becky was prepared to give the baby up for adoption and her family told her they would help her. I don't see her as mooching so much because they wanted to keep the baby in the family as well, so hell yes they can help her.
  14. Does that last picture look like the Conner's laundry room? I hope Becky and Jackie didn't smuggle Emilio back in the trunk.
  15. That what Harris said, but I think that was something thrown in so that we wouldn't think Darlene got her fired. I get the feeling the writers want Darlene to come off as this down-on-her-luck mom who is just trying to do what is best for her kids, but it's not working. She is unpleasant, selfish, ungrateful, spiteful, and hateful. Even if they were trying to make her Roseanne 2.0, Roseanne was never this ugly. On the show, anyway.
  16. I really enjoyed the season, despite the inconsistencies and loose ends. The biggest thing that confuses me is why did Maddox leave Coppelius? He had a lab there, as well as assistants. Why go to FreeCloud and build a new lab to continue his work? I know it allowed Scooby and the gang to go there, and we wouldn't have had Seven's introduction or Raffi's family drama, but was that ever explained and I missed it?
  17. I think you have hit the nail on the head. These were always "down on their luck" people who made poor decisions, but they were good at heart and they loved and stuck with each other, so you would always root for them. This episode made me want every misfortune imaginable to befall them, because they were giant assholes. Right on both counts. Darlene thought the job was beneath her, and didn't give a shit how it made Harris look. She is just selfish and awful. Dan and Mark were the only parts of this episode I liked.
  18. My take on that was: Seven reactivated the Nanites to fix the cube, but the borg people (citizens?) implants/devices had not been repaired yet, therefore they would only have their organic bodies to support them in space, so they would have died. I thought this was pretty cool. Jurati called what she saw poison, so it made sense that whatever Dr. Ramdha saw was the same, and when she was assimilated the borg detected that poison and severed that cube's connection for the good of the collective, much like severing a gangrenous toe. I also totally took the Admonition scene as Narissa being a total sociopath. A warped, twisted mind able to process a horrific occurrence and not go mad. Jeri Ryan as Seven currently reminds me a great deal of her character in Leverage. More of Elnor, please. I think it would have been hilarious if the vision they had shown for the admonition was the same as in Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory.
  19. Sadly the actor playing Bruno was struck by a car and killed back in February. I hope the last season with the four of them is funny. The reasoning is stupid, but I imagine there will be some funny moments, especially when one of the ladies has a gentleman stay over. I still think Sam and Martin have zero chemistry though as a couple. Hell, I think Jane, Lily and Millicent have more chemistry together. I do hope we haven't seen the last of Nick. Brianna was a little more likable this season, because I never saw her dressed as an elf, but yea, Mallory is booooooring. I am so glad that they made Bud's wife more likable as well, although Bud drives me crazy. Coyote is cute in small doses.
  20. I agree with most of what is posted here. Darlene was AWFUL in this. I can see wanted Bev to be fair to the kids, but when that wasn't going to happen, trying to take the money from Mark was just cruel. I absolutely couldn't stand the scene where they considered stealing Bev's money. They have done some unethical things before, such as stealing electricity, but this went beyond the pale. I feel like they made Harris the voice of reason because they realize how many fans hate her and have really been ramping up her redemption arc. This was the worst episode of the reboot for me. I didn't find Bev's behavior any different from her usual, and I didn't have a problem with her telling Mark. Darlene would have made Bev the bad guy if Bev hadn't have told him. Awww...poor Dan. Although I do wish he would have gone up to Louise. He doesn't know if she is in a relationship or not. Girl could have just been wanting company that night.
  21. He reminds me of a young Alex Winter. To be fair, Lecy no longer has that horrible haircut, and Darlene's hair constantly looks like she needs to wash it. Darlene also persistently looks sour or displeased with everything she sees. I'm glad of this. She is sober, and she is returning to her old self.
  22. I think the stew idea is stupid, but I want Becky to have a win, so I'll support it. Jackie is over the top, but it was okay in this episode, and I like how she had she knew how to end that panic attack. And yea, Jackie, use a TASTING SPOON and put it in the sink. Darlene has developed Jackie's knack for bad decisions. A baby at her age and can't even support herself, much less her two existing children. In my head I have fanwanked that Ed was a huge asshole to Crystal and also found himself a side piece. He dumps her and fights tooth and nail for Ed Jr. and Angela, leaving Crystal nearly penniless and having to work at the casino, while marrying the side piece, who raises the kids. This behavior would obviously have Dan defending Crystal, hence the blowout between the two men, and allow for keeping Dan separate from his siblings. Don't take away my dreams, people.
  23. That was good. It was nice knowing that many other people hated the turn that this character went.
  24. I think Pnina may have pissed some folks off. I don't know when this article was written, but it mentions that she tried to badmouth a dress that belonged to another designer when the client liked the other dress better. The link is here. Scroll down to where it says "Trunk shows can be good or bad." Yep. I'm rewatching season one right now, and they are often more than three brides per show. In addition, the consultants are very well versed (except for Claudia, she's a delusional moron), and there are wedding photos from every bride that is shown, even if it is for a couple of minutes. The family members are thoughtful with their criticisms and no one really seems out to be an ass on purpose. There is also no one asking "Are you saying yes to this dress?" I do miss Randy though. And, I caught a glimpse of 1st season Pnina. Wow. She looks younger, less greasy, and she can actually move her face. I thought she looked familiar and wasn't sure until I heard her voice.
