  1. I'm sorry, but I feel sorry for Megan Markle. It is almost as if the show runners read these boards/blogs and do whatever they can to continue the Rachel hate. Why were there not page numbers on whatever Mike created? If it said page 2 of 5, and you only had 4 pages, then they would have known. Also, why would Rachel have been printing it? If Mike created it, why wouldn't he have printed it and given a copy to Harvey? I didn't even follow the case of the week, which used to be my favorite part. They clearly read the boards and try to give the readers what they want, but went overboard with the movie quotes. It used to be cute, now it is just overdone. I am so tired of Louis the Little Boy. I had to FF through almost the whole episode and still need to go back and find out what Jessica was wearing. The Harvey/Donna stuff was annoying...I wish they had let her leave the firm back when she destroyed the memo, but the obvious solution is to make her work for someone else in the firm, on another floor. The Louis/Donna stuff was annoying...I am so tired of Louis reacting like a child and Donna "mothering and reassuring" him. It is like Groundhog day. The weird sexual innuendo was just creepy. If they want to go toward making them have a "relationship" they would have to make Louis act like a man. They ruined this character. Harvey's panic attacks were a pointless plot device unless they are going to continue them. Jessica, as usual, is not given enough to do.I'm sorry Harvey/Donna people, but Harvey/Jessica would make much more sense. I can't even remember what Mike and Rachel were doing, but for pete's sake pretend like she is already out of law school!
  2. I think that was the point...to make her look as selfish and stubborn as possible so that the viewers would root for Harry and Joss and be annoyed with her character and feel that they do not owe her any loyalty or consideration. I don't get how they gave an interview saying that Savi was always the most selfish, when they initially wrote her as being the breadwinner so her husband could follow his dreams with his career, and as taking care of her sister. Sure she made some terrible choices, but they ALL did, and no one is written as more selfish than Joss.....just another example of how they are willing to trash the character to further the new "love connection." Maybe there is some animosity about the way AM left the show? They could have written her out with Dom...he was a useless character and I think he is going to Grey's Anatomy full time.
  3. I just think that AM was miscast for the place that she was in her life. i think the character of Savi was supposed to be more physical, with her relationship with Dom and with Harry, and she was unable to do that. They also wrote her as unsympathetic, and not the successful attorney she was supposed to be. Your personal life can be a mess, but your professional thrive, and they don't allow any of the 4 to be successful at either. The only way Mistresses stays on is because it is summer and people have nothing else to do. I watched it a little before because of Alyssa, and because I was such a fan of the original one on BBC, but this version is supposed to be "campy" and "funny," and I just get a hot mess that is not particularly dramatic or funny. Trust me, the original was not a "great work," but the actresses were believable with the material that they were given, and you felt sympathy for them instead of exasperation, annoyance and humor. What grown woman, no matter how much of a "free spirit," breaks up with someone in the manner and place that she did? Chicken at church? Really? I tried to watch, but the recaps here pretty much caught me up. I personally thought both Dom and Harry were totally mis cast. I don't think Harry has chemistry with anyone, the actor is boring and not that attractive. I also think that the actress that plays Joss does not invoke the "wild, sexy, little, sister." Both she and Harry come across as just directionless people that need someone else to guide them or make decisions for them. When they are together Harry always reminds me of her father first, and now he is like an insecure little boy. Ugh! The show messed up by changing Savi and Joss to be sisters. It makes no sense that a sister would cut out like that, especially after a near death experience, and it also makes no sense that someone's best friend would react the way April did to the situation. I fast forwarded through most of it, but the trailer guy is not attractive here (nor was he on the Clients or whatever that show was) and I can't stomach a scene with the little girl. I love JE, but I am not looking forward to seeing her on this.
  4. 2nd season in a row that I'm not all that excited about when the show is starting. This use to be "must see" T.V. for me. Can the show get back to good if not great?
  5. Even though I expected it, I am sad that they decided to go this route. I probably would have understood developing the Linda thing more, or even if episode 15 never happened. I wonder if there is some other on set reason why they are not trying to put Barry and Iris together? At first I thought there was no chemistry, but they were actually able to prove me wrong there, and then I was ok with a "side of romance," to interrupt my action scenes. Then they just made it an annoying distraction, now it is going to be even more of a turn off. Are writers incapable of developing a romance between two people without having them fight with each other, betray each other, ignore each other or go off and sleep with 1/2 the town (Oliver) before realizing they are "meant" to be? They need to focus on showing Barry maturing as a man before he can be with any woman!
  6. The Powells are the best thing about this show. I can stand Remy away from Valentina, a shame he has to go too. I am not interested in the little girl, and I never liked Spence and Rosie. I would like to see Zoila act more mature with her boyfriend, and him have more of a back bone.
  7. I was so bored that I couldn't follow. I saw an article that stated it was going to be funnier this year. So far, I don't see that at all!
  8. Stop revealing the "secret" identity to a new person every week. Give Joe something to do, like solve crimes that don't involve Barry, have a girlfriend, etc. Keep Eddie dead, at least for a season Have Cisco act like an adult Have Barry act like an adult Have...well you see where I'm going with this Explain why they continue to work in STAR Labs when they know it was taken over by Thawne Show Barry actually doing his other job Have Iris wear appropriate clothing to work...for her job and for her age Have Caityln wear appropriate clothing to work, for her job and for her age Crossovers that do not seem forced Have Barry appear to be as SMART as we were told he was when he was introduced Show Iris with some girlfriends, or Barry with friends outside of Joe or Cisco, if only for a few seconds

    Eddie Thawne

Unfortunately I am certain they will bring Eddie back. I never cared for the character, but when he said he killed himself to be Iris' hero, I was sure.
  10. The only thing I disagree with is Eddie seeming mature. I think both Barry and Eddie have shown flashes of maturity at times, but overall that is another reason why I've never gotten into the Eddie character. He plays the "aw shucks, I'm a good guy," persona, that is very young. It does not make me believe him as a competent, adult detective capable of holding his own with Joe. I have had zero interest in any scene he was in, whether it was with Iris, Barry or anyone else. I don't know if that is a casting issue or what. I also keep hearing him described as the handsome all american boy, when in actuality Barry is more attractive or equally attractive. Eddie as cast does not play the "handsome hunk," but more of a less nerdy Barry. His physique, nothing indicates that he is a "jock" yet that is how everyone acts, as if he is this unbelievably attractive and smart guy. To each his own, but he is no Matt Bomer, or anyone else that you look at and you just HAVE to acknowledge that they are gorgeous. Luke Mitchell would have been a much better Eddie. Also, I did this not to save people from an evil genius, but because I want to be your hero? I can only hope the writers read message boards, etc and abandon this long drawn out love triangles or whatever you want to call them and stick closer to the action. I was even hoping Iris would fall for the guy Mason at the paper. It was painful to watch them try to have Cisco flirt, because he is the most like a teenager. You can be a funny, eccentric person but still be an adult. The wardrobe they have for all the characters is appalling. They dress Iris like she is trying to play dress up for "take your daughter to work day," and Caitlyn too matronly. Barry never looks like he is actually going to work, rather to a lecture at the high school. I guess the biggest problem is all these relationships play out like high school or an episode of Sweet Valley high. Can the romance, stick to the action!
  11. I think it would be fine if they could find love interests for either Barry or Iris that they had chemistry with. Barry had no chemistry with Linda, and was written to loo like an immature high school boy trying to have a thing with his teacher, and Iris and Eddie have zero chemistry. I wish, as someone stated above, that they would realize that a romance is not necessary on these type of shows, but I get that it is already in the comic book. What doesn't work is all these contrived issues to keep them apart until they "discover" their destiny. It was sad that basically Iris said the same thing to Eddie as he came back and said to her the week prior, but it took statements by a MAN (someone he didn't even know well) for it to have validity. They are making some of the fans actively hope for a relationship NOT to happen because of Iris' changing and different feelings from timeline to timeline. It makes no sense in one timeline she cannot let him go without professing her feelings, but in another timeline she just gives him hugs and tells him to "go for it." I would like for them to find Eddie a real love interest that he has chemistry with if they continue to have him on the show. I think he has served his purpose and was already rather bland. It was never believable to me that Iris would fall for Eddie,or that Linda would be attracted to Barry. The show needs to figure out what they want to do with the romance if they continue with it. Ronnie and Caitlyn also have zero chemistry. How about Ronnie and Iris???
  12. Yeah! Eddie is alive! More Iris and Eddie, I can't wait!
  13. So....if Wells/RF was erased, would STAR LABS still be there? Does this now mean that the real Dr. Wells will be alive?
  14. So, the big payoff is Eddie, who was ALWAYS irrelevant and boring to me, killing himself, so that Iris, can be Laurel and blame, Oliver, I mean Barry, for Tommy, I mean Eddie's death? Our cliffhanger is if The Flash, (the star of the show) will survive? We get Barry's last look before going to meet his fate being Iris and Eddie reunited? The professor had to make Eddie realize that Reverse Flash could have shown him anything? For that matter, once the gang knew that he'd been watching them, what made them think that the headline they saw on Gideon was real and not just a plant? I was disappointed in this finale similar to the Arrow finale. Don't get me wrong, I have enjoyed most of the season, when they were fighting criminals Hopefully the new season will show them more mature. It does not have to be as dark as Arrow for the characters to be more mature. So the whole Iris realizing she really had feelings for Barry is just over? I mean, I know it saved Captain Singh, but that whole episode was a waste. The fight was also boring, and did I miss the Killer Frost reference?
  15. Once again, smart people doing dumb things. Yes, let's listen to Wells whom has manipulated us all the whole season. What is the writer's obsession with Iris and Eddie? If you want to keep them apart, at least give her an INTERESTING boyfriend, and why take away Barry's girlfriend? I see The Flash is going the way of Arrow with this unnecessary relationship drama. I have been underwhelmed with this finale.....where is all the promised action? What is so gut wrenching? What a big build up for this!
  16. Iris and Eddie again? Why does the Iris story continue to be the worse one on the show? "We'll see Barry," then "Eddie is the man I love!", then "Then it ends," and now, "screw the future?" Iris and Eddie have ZERO chemistry, and Eddie is the weakest part of the show, followed closely by Caitlyn. Is this Tommy and Laurel and Oliver all over again?
  17. Has no one even considered the possibility that the headline was a plant? I don't think it was, but it would seem to me that now that they know that Wells knew their every move and had cameras on them, someone would consider that he planted the news story, or even that he was still in the facility. Also, since they know that he is capable of mind control (with Clancy Brown's character who escapes my mind/) why are they just accepting that Eddie is o.k. and has not been compromised in some way? Or that there was a reason that RF wanted them to find him? Are we also to believe that while he was in the same place RF did not zip out and get his battery out of the wheelchair? It is not as if they have stayed or secured STAR Labs since he was found out. Why would he leave that in the wheelchair? Does this all mean that Gideon doesn't work anymore? I continue to say that the show's biggest failure is selling us that these are super "smart" people and then having them do dumb things. For a second in the last few episodes they looked as if they were going to "grow" Barry up enough to make me believe that he could be in a real relationship, and then they make him act like a stupid teenager. Why must he be incompetent in his love life, and in his life as a super hero? At this point, I'm not even sure how competent of a forensic tech he is supposed to be. This going to Captain Cold was possibly the worst thing the writers could have come up with. Worse, they had Joe and the gang go along with this plan. I agree with the poster who said that someone writing this has confused goodness with stupidity. They are making the character unattractive by having him be so gullible and immature. The best part about the episode was the Eddie/Iris breakup because they have no chemistry. Then they had to ruin it by having her "fight" for the relationship, when she has already pretty much acknowledged that she feels SOMETHING for Barry that she needs to deal with. Also kudos for styling Eddie's hair differently, etc. so that he did not look like an eager college freshman anymore. The only interesting part of the fight was the parts with Oliver. Sad to be upstaged on your own show. I'm actually getting pretty bored with Reverse Flash. I enjoy the show more when it is Barry against the criminal of the week, instead of a long arc with a "super" criminal. Of course you are not going to beat someone who knows everything about you Perhaps Joe can get a girlfriend? I am preparing myself for some foolishness next week where whatever Barry does with time travel means that Iris will be back with Eddie, or we will have to endure another season of her "not remembering" who he is or acknowledging her feelings for him.
  18. Why couldn't I get Luke Mitchell on this show instead??!!!
  19. I agree..there is no reason why they could continue to be at STAR Labs using Wells' equipment and not figure that he has it all compromised in some way, or even that he has built some type of program or security system to harm them. If he didn't, then that is just sloppy writing. It is also crazy that even after GRODD they have not considered the fact that Wells will use the other metas, or his knowledge of their power against them. It would seem to me that Firestorm and the Arrow are there and then Wells will release the other metahumans so that the three of them can fight against all of them. I am not sure if they are there before or AFTER Barry tries an allegiance with Captain Cold-...which by the way is but yet another example of how they have changed Barry from being an earnest and smart scientist to an immature young man that does not make a plan...which is just what the Arrow warned him of. Not doing his research, not knowing his surroundings, underestimating his opponents. I didn't get the idea that Iris has forgiven them. I think if my father was kidnapped and could have been killed, I may understand that being angry about something that already happened and punishing him pales in comparison to the fact that I may never see him again. I also don't think that she forgave Barry, just that she needs him right now to find Eddie, and she may have some small understanding of all that he has gone through. Some of you are being wayyy to practical. Who gets paid in a superhero series/movie? These people don't have jobs where they have to worry about paying bills , having the lights on etc. I appreciate the fact that since Barry and Eddie are friends, they did not have Iris and Barry having romantic times while Eddie is missing. I am, however, ready to have Eddie out of this equation. I think they can find other reasons to keep them apart without involving a third ( or fourth) love interest. I am already bored of the "teasing" of will they or won't they. The Eddie and Iris character have no chemistry. Oddly, initially I did not see chemistry between Iris and Barry, only Iris and the Flash, but now I am seeing chemistry with Barry. A banana?!! Really??!!
  20. I think Barry will end up having to make some choice that will involve Iris not having romantic feelings for him. It has to be something about either not saving his mom, not getting his father out of prison, peril for Joe or Iris, or Iris not reciprocating his feelings ever. Nothing else would be that high stakes.
  21. Basically it sounds to me like whatever happens, Iris and Barry will not be together so that they can drag that out until next year for another whole year. How disappointing.
  22. Who was surprised that Wells had cameras? I am kind of tired of how he always has the upper hand, but what should they expect? Even the suit, at this point why wouldn't you assume that he tampered with it? I expected more from Joe if not the Scooby Doo gang. Yes Eddie, let's propose one week after she walked out on you in a snit. Sounds like she is ready to me! They need to put Barry and Iris together and move Eddie on to evilness or greatness, because this love triangle issue is boring and the actor's mannerisms are annoying. Kind of figured they would be using Bates' powers again, but didn't know how. No big surprise as Wells had already shown he was not above using a prisoner. Why would he even let them put their plan together and just play along? Was he toying with them? Looks like he has a secret lair? Yes, once Caitlyn goes evil and they've lost Wells, who will handle their part of the team?
  23. Call me crazy, but the Barry when Barry wasn't Barry, was the most mature Barry that I've seen so far! I don't know why this show and Arrow seem to feel that for someone to like and excel in Science that they have to be the classic stereotype of a "nerd," or a geek. You don't have to fit a "profile" to be interested in technology and science, or to be a police officer. I am growing weary of the Cisco portrayal, which comes across as a little boy other than a grown man that likes technology and science, the same with Barry. A fan picture, really? I see why the parents like the brother better! All of the characters play their part as if they are just out of high school instead of established professionals, even Eddie, who couldn't even hold his own in a fight with the baddie of the week. Even with the Ray and Felicity characters, their dialogue and affects are socially awkward, and I don't understand why. As others have pointed out,t hey hit us over the head with how smart and accomplished the people are, and then they have them do stupid things. Yes, Caitlan and Cisco, use Wells' computers to snoop on him in his own facility. Yes Barry open the door and not even question if that is Eddie when you saw the shapeshifter change to him on tape. Agreed....Caitlyn's car would be at Wells' house, or is Barry moving cars now? Should we assume she took a cab? Yes Joe, berate Barry for not being unassuming with Wells, but then act shady yourself when talking to him. Yes Barry, the man has done everything for you in a year, but don't assume that he may not have your placed bugged or watches you, or even has sabotaged your suit when he has tons of technology at his disposal. Why would Iris take someone in, and why couldn't Wells or Snow jab the shapeshifter before they left? Is Iris a reserve police officer or something I missed? Agreed, if he had no trouble shooting two police officers, why in the world would he not kill Barry, and further, since they said he does not have their memories, etc., why would he go to Joe's house anyway, and how would he know how to get there? It is when they do stuff like this that I get annoyed. I think the writing and the excitement has diminished since the Tsunami episode..I think 15. i really hope the show gets good again for the rest of the season. I am so over the Iris thing I can't comment. The hint of "multiple" time lines is not exciting to me. So do we have to look forward to Iris being with Barry in one timeline and Eddie in another? Will Joe still have a wife in the alternate universe, or can he at least get a girlfriend?
  24. The episode kind of dragged for me. I also don't know if there was a big "payoff" with the first love scene being in moments of crisis instead of a planned seduction. I actually don't care about Thea as a character one way or the other, so I am a little appalled that the pit was used on her, and not saved for someone else later on Let's continue the bed hopping..was Felicity's body even cold from being with Ray just prior? Then the line, "you're the last person I wanted to hurt," but I knew I was using you from minute one because I couldn't have what I wanted....ugh! Instead of fire and spunk, I see a doormat in Felicity. She has all but went out and purchased the "morning after" presents for many of Oliver's lost loves, and even had to be gal pal to Sara. Waits around for him to "notice," her, now spends her time giving him inspiring lectures. I love the tech side that she brings to the team, but they exaggerate her mannerisms and speech so much it is not cute anymore. I just feel overall last night confirmed that the writing this year has not been that great. The whole Ra Al Ghul (sp) has been a big bore. The team of Diggle, Felicity and Oliver worked...as did the anonymity, and the bad guy of the week. Now everyone knows who they are and we are subjected to these long arcs of one boring big bad. Oliver being the rich playboy by day and growing business man was interesting, and the playboy aspect of it was just part of it. Now it seems like a big soap opera totally dedicated to his finding his "moral" core.
  25. Nope, I had no problem with Oliver killing people and wish it had never stopped. Arrow used to be a much more interesting show before the expanded the team and became so emotional. I enjoyed his being in the Russian mob and oh so many other things. I enjoyed that he did not have a serious love interest and that Diggle was his only close friend. I enjoyed his relationship with his step father. I don't think they should have so many crossovers. Ray and Felicity seemed forced to me.
