Thank god it looks like Valentina is leaving? Who is the daddy with a woman with a grown daughter? Surely they could have thought of something else.

Jessica needed a man that was equal to her in power and presence. It was a mistake to give her a boyfriend that now works for her. I don't even know what to say about the rest. I am tired of Louis' insecurity and issues being the only thing that they focus on in his character.

I was out of town and didn't see anything but the end. Why did Marisol and her husband go to the Powells' before going to the police? How much time has passed that Spence and Rosie are already getting married? Did they say what happened to Mr. Kenneth and his family? Also, I've never watched Ana Ortiz in anything. Does she always walk like that, or is that for this show?

I thought the Carmen interaction with the baby was too predictable, and Reggie's commuppance too rushed. Can they get rid of the crazy nephew now? I can't see a reason to keep Spence...if they get married and he has money then there is no reason for Rosie to be maid, and a story line where she is working to support them because he can't get a job would be just too depressing. They already need to figure out a reason to keep Marisol. I totally agree with Zoila not going back to her husband.
-
I never even thought about that! I just assumed he was depositing the check, but now that you mention it i don't know if you can even deposit a check of that amount at the ATM.
-
No, you are correct. He said that when he and Harvey were in the chambers with the judge. Whatever motion Mike made he was representing himself or the firm and I think he explained that to her.

Who thinks Tony will show back up to try and tell on Mr. Powell, or that he had a backup video of the two of them? Did they disclose whom he had been talking to on the phone when he said he could not wait to dump her? I thought the Spence character was pointless last year, and this year has done nothing to change that. I am not interested in seeing him in rehab, or unemployed and with Rosie. Rosie is just too silly to be with anyone. Who dresses like Marisol to just walk around the house, and would you really confront someone like that alone? She could have at least called one of her friends. I thought we were done with the creepy nephew. There is some secret to be told about Zoila's boyfriend, he is just too good to be true. Of course they will put her back with the husband. I thought Lucci was only doing an abbreviated schedule, so it makes sense she is not in all of the episodes. The whole Valentina thing is a bore. As usual, the best part are the Powell's. Carmen looked silly running through the house.. I am so tired of Reggie...can we end this please? Is there some reason why Marc Cherry or his casting agents cannot find really attractive men? The only semi attractive man they have had on the show was killed off, and they made him gay. Carmen's boyfriend from last year, Spence, Tony, Zoila's husband, Marisol's husband, Ethan, Ty, there is no real eye candy on this show! The only one that comes close to being attractive is Zoila's new boyfriend.

What happened at the end when he kept saying that he felt like there was something he was missing? Is that going to carry over to future episodes? I also missed what he said to the neighbor when she asked for the favor, and what he thanked her for giving him?

Well at least karen going from one bad situation to another is consistent with the English series of the same name. The doctor on that show was a hot mess as well, and they eventually blamed it on her having daddy issues. I understand being lonely, but you don't go from just being lonely too going out picking up men in a bar. she does however, get the best clothes! the part of the dom was always miscast on the show, it may have worked with a different actor. the way that he plays the character is wrong. I see no chemistry with savvi and anybody that they've had on the show so far. Boris Kodjoe or someone like that would have been a better choice I like that they didn't stick with all of the same story lines, the somehow they manage to make the ones that they have even dumber than the ones that were in the original series, and the actors are not as good. I've noticed the giving an animal plot in a lot of books and shows& I always thought that it was over hyped and over romanticized. As someone mentioned you just don't give an animal to somebody not knowing what their schedule is,finances , allergies and if they have the ability to take care of a animal that's just stupid. is Joss still living with savi? If so won't they both have to find somewhere new to live when the house is sold? what if it is not pet friendly? I could care less about April's boyfriend, & I do think that they rushed into the bratty daughter storyline.are we to assume that she doesn't talk to the dead husband? Talk to text! Sorry for errors.

Yes. My understanding was that the computer hacker got the medical information and that is how he found out about the allergy, and conveniently the mother, mother in law, nanny ( was fast forwarding so I never knew what she was) also had something where she needed an EPI pen and that is how he got access to one. I'm sure the records included his financials, so he was able to trace him to that location, etc. I found the guy that played Foyle convincingly creepy, and I could not understand if he actually liked the lawyer or just wanted to scare her to show her that he could. The ending where she explained his plot was the best part. Was this meant to have another series where he works on another case?
-
I believe that was to indicate that she was the person with the severe allergy and that was the way he had gotten access to an Epi pen to put the poison in. The other lawyer mentions something to him about how he would have to have knowledge of those type of allergies, and also have access to get one (which could not be traced back to him). I took it to indicate that he'd gotten the Epi pen from her, and she was trying to keep her medical alert tag hidden at all times in case anyone notice and asked.

I can't decide who is the worst character on the show. Spence just seems pointless, other than to provide a place for Carmen to work. Did they explain why he did not get custody or joint custody? Marisol continues to be a hard story to swallow. You hear your new husband admit to killing someone and then you try to drug him? And she is supposed to be a college professor? The smartest thing they had her do was say she was leaving him. Valentina- they should have gotten rid of her last year, but why take him to your parent's home? I am confused about Genevieve and her mom, but I really don't care. I think it is a little of both, she is a snob trying to forget where she came from, and the mom is resentful about how she had to take care of her children. Have they mentioned a father? Where is Zoila's boyfriend? What silly story have they created for him, other than he would pay someone to live in filth? I actually was glad to have a break from the Powells. I get the "tone" of this show and don't take it seriously, but even for a dramedy, clone of a tela novella it is sometimes so over the top that it is not funny. Reggie is doing everything but twirling a mustache and cackling. Does Rosie honestly think she is safe? Why not just quit and report her suspicions to elder abuse or something? Or better yet, go to the daughter?

Yes, that he had been in her apartment, her personal space, and knew something so specific about her. I thought some parts were great, some not so great. I didn't even watch all of part 1 because I was finished when she sees a man at the window and calls her husband before calling the police. Seriously, if you thought someone was outside (maybe more than one person) trying to harm you, you don't know how much time you have, and you don't try to call the police? Apparently she went back to the isolated cabin with the boy after the incident...too much. The best part for me was the end. I honestly didn't think Sophie Okenedo did a great job. I guess the "back story" was her trying to be respected as a woman and a minority in that profession that she was willing to do anything to win. I don't remember seeing too many women when she was doing her walk of pride through the office. Her behavior, however, just didn't make sense. Ok, I'll admit that I DVRd and skipped around...how did he know that the man would be cremated? Also, was Foyle actually having a relationship with the neighbor, or just stringing her along?
-
I totally understand...but now that TNT has Murder in the First, I can perhaps find another filler. It was bad enough on the original show when Savi, the lawyer, started picking up men...but to have the doctor do it...while she is supposed to be helping other people with their problems is really sad. Karen needs an intervention. God forbid they would have let one of them have a normal relationship...like Karen and Jacob. I didn't watch the whole thing ( I usually DVR and fast forward through the parts that look bad), so I made up a story in my head that the guy at the door was Savi's brother, since she found out she and Joss did not have the same father. Based on a poster above, he was in the accident with her? I wonder where this is going. She and Dom look awkward together, but she looked awkward with Harry too. Joss looks too old to be involved with the plastic surgeon, and I don't see the "striking" looks that she has. Does she look old, or does he look young? Also, if she can't even afford her own place, how can she afford to take care of a puppy? Harry's moping is too much to take, but a Harry/Joss relationship would be just nasty. I don't know why they made the two of them sisters anyway. I also missed what happened at dinner with Daniel, but sounds like I did not miss much. I used to watch partly for fashion, but oddly, other than Karen, they have all looked terrible this year. AM hair is a fright, and pregnant or not they could have found more appealing clothing and makeup for her as she is a beautiful woman.

I actually really liked the Rutherford movies.

Amen to the clothes! Something is off this season. The only thing I really liked was Jessica's black dress, and Rachel's halter that was totally inappropriate for the office. I don't object necessarily to some of the language because it is a show and I don't take it too seriously. I also took the "white boy" as affection. Although I would never say something like that, I think it is in keeping with the personalities and the tone of the show, as well as the relationship as it has been shown. I found whatever Louis said about the "homies" in front of Jeff to be more problematic. I totally did not care about Louis and Jeff's issues or case, and I am already tired of Katrina and Donna needing to be the driving force behind Louis. I am sick of Donna sticking her nose in on Louis' behalf, Donna giving advice and Donna pointing out everyone's flaws. Please give her something to do. I'm still undecided about Mike's boss and his secretary. What did the boss say about Mike not getting the 30 mil? I also see no chemistry with Jeff and Jessica. I think that it was stupid to have Jessica give Jeff the corner office. She is not stupid enough that she did not realize what a corner office would mean to the people already working there. I hate when they dumb down the characters
-
Could care less about the Mike/Harvey drama, and I think all the one upping is confusing to the viewers. In all fairness, Jessica's first thought was to give the job to Louis and talked about how great he is with that sort of thing, but after the guy approached them Harvey thought he was the better idea. Louis is at fault for trying to game play and not just asking for it outright...but then of course we wouldn't have the Jeff/Louis conflict, or the Jeff/Jessica issue.. I agree, however, that she should have thought of it before giving him the office. As much as I love the Louis character, I get tired of his insecurities. Some if it used to be funny, now it is tiresome. I would like to see them move forward with the Louis and Donna, but if they not going to make it a romantic connection, I wish they would make it clear that from the Louis perspective it is meant to be friends only.
-
From what I understand they are not giving up on Daniel and Kate. I personally would rather see Kate with someone else, not Donnie or Daniel, and they all still find a way to work together. Did they explain how Lewicki was paying the bills or was Daniel still paying bills? I would like to see him have a relationship with someone that can handle his issues. The story last night was very boring.

I guess we are to believe that no one checks references on this show, especially when you are asking someone to work in a home with valuables. After her own undercover maid experience, it is hard to believe that Marisol would just hire someone on the spot. Agreed..why was she surprised that the nurse was gossiping, and why was she even telling her those things? It is not as if she does not have the other ladies to talk to so that she does not get lonely. I wonder who Tony's mysterious partner is? Was his plan to blackmail Eveyln, which he can't now that she told her husband? I wish they had gotten an attractive actor to play Reggie. I hope the story doesn't end with him taking all of the money from Mr. Kenneth. I know Rosie is supposed to be religious and the "moral compass," but I agree...her meddling is way over the top, and she did sleep with a married man in HIS OWN house (and i have to assume the wife's bed) which means she lost her credibility of being able to judge others.
-
Maybe I missed it in the episode, but is Rachel working 1/2 days, or only a few days a week? Why does Mike have a car to drive him, and if she is only part time, why is Rachel assigned to Harvey? Does anyone think Jessica will really stop seeing the new guy?

Spoilers and Spoiler Discussion: How's Your Head?
catrice2 replied to formerlyfreedom's topic in Sleepy Hollow [V]
Do we know who has been hired as the love interest for Abbie Mills? I can think of a few candidates...any suggestions? -
Love the show. Can't wait for the new season, although I have no idea if my local PBS will show it.

I don't want there to be a triangle at all, but if there just has to be one, I would think it great if it did NOT involve Oliver and watch how he reacts to that. If Diggle were not already with his ex, he would be my first choice to see in a romantic involvement. I'm over Oliver's relationships, and to me it would just feel wrong for Felicity to be with him after he has slept with sisters, Isabel, the Huntress and the police officer while she just sits backs and waits for him to notice her. That kind of "romance" does not interest or excite me. It really makes her look weak, desperate and stupid. I think they are better off as friends. I personally liked her with Barry.
-
Maybe the triangle could be Laurel and the new guy hero that is for Felicity? That would certainly be something different. Oliver is tainted to me with the sister thing and sleeping with his father's mistress, so I am no longer invested in his romantic entanglements. I personally think they need to bring back Laurel's friend from the office that was on Charlie's angels, or the police officer that was shot. Oliver needs a love interest that is not working with him or part of the sister drama, and Laurel needs a friend to talk to...and not just her father or Oliver. Det. Lance also needs a friend, sidekick partner or a girlfriend. These people don't need to be a major focus, just show them once in a while so that characters interact outside each other. All of these new characters make me nervous about where they going with Diggle. At the end they seemed to realize that the audience likes the core three more than including Sara, Roy and multiple other people. I think that is where the show should return. Love the idea of Luke Mitchell, but I also like Max Brown and can think of a few other people. I just hope Robbie Amell is not being floated for any character. I also hope that we can see Walter again now that Moira is dead.
