Janelle Brown: Smarter Than Your Average Brown (Maybe)
Teafortwo replied to Rhondinella's topic in Sister Wives
This was my first thought as well. He was a beautiful pup. -
I saw this on Reddit and am posting it from TikTok (you do not need to have an account to view). It's the best! https://www.tiktok.com/@angiesanimations/video/7209445452872240426

Can I get a "Y" for yusers? -
I think he sold advertising, for companies that wanted to advertise on billboards owned by someone else.
-
Agreed. However, I remember a scene from when Evie was an infant and they brought her to Flagstaff. Iirc, Maddie said she was done having kids but Caleb wanted at least 2 more. I'm sure she's happy but this may also not have been entirely her choice, particularly given their fundamentalist Christianity.

My sister-in-law used to feed tilapia to her kids when they were younger, thinking it was a healthy alternative to red meat, chicken wings, pizza and burgers (their staple diet). She called it "chicken-fish" to get them to eat it. She cooked it with a lot of spices. It wasn't bad, but I had no idea about the points everyone has made here. Yuck.

Although we are friends who've never met, I think most everyone who reads your posts cares about you @TurtlePower And most certainly the folks who've responded to these sorts of posts do care. You're one of the posters whose insights and wit I look forward to reading the most. I hate to think of you starving yourself. -
I have not seen any product posts from Mykelti, but Madison did it recently (I forget the product, but not plexugh). Christine was plugging a meal delivery service this week on her Instagram stories (one of the ones that send you all the ingredients and you cook the recipe). They offer a discount and I think what they make can depend on how many people use the code.

Could it be a brown rice cake? I love how invested in this we all seem to be LOL -
I love it too!

I'd avoided all the zombie shows but thought The Last of Us might be worth a look. Watched a couple episodes and -- nope. Interesting and well done, yes, but not for me. (I believe the game that inspired this show may have in turn been inspired by "The Girl with All the Gifts." However, Station Eleven, which is largely set in a post-pandemic world, is absolutely superb. It's about a troupe of Shakespearean actors. I can't recommend it highly enough. It's just that good. No zombies though! ETA I loved the Invasion of the Body Snatchers films though. Lol. and Jordan Peele's films, except for US, which I found too violent to watch most of.

No need to apologize. Driving on Long Island roads/highways is and always has been a nightmare. The LIE is bad enough but the Northern and Southern State are worse. It's got to be even worse now. I don't blame you at all for wanting to try a more rural location. If I didn't need to see my many doctors so frequently now, I would move somewhere less crowded (and less expensive) too. In fact if I lived in New Jersey (horrible drivers there too) I could possibly work remotely for a former employer. It's a NJ co so they require that remote workers live in the state, most likely for tax reasons. I wish there were some solidarity among my co-workers. They are all very nice, but like most things, it's everyone for themselves - no one wants to risk it. And as of Friday (the day after I got written up), the work has been redistributed among the team as a whole, so that undercuts any claim I might make that I was treated unfairly etc. when I had two other people's workloads added to my existing workload when they left (3 months ago for one and about 7 weeks ago for the other). I actually think if I had not made the mistake that led to the writeup, that no changes in assignments would have been made. @Yeah No Thanks for sharing about your friend. I may contact someone at the Dept of Labor, and have reached out to friends to see if anyone can refer me to an attorney.

I don't expect Sister Wives (or whatever they might call it now - Sister Wives Moving On?) to be on until the fall, as per usual the past few years. The last time I remember new episodes airing in spring was in 2020. I could be remembering wrong though.

I think a reset means 3 days of not much else but Plexugh. Just from what I recall of Janelle's prior resets since she started selling the toxic brew. -
So sorry to hear this and I hope you and your DH will be fine. I know several folks who've gotten covid recently after flying, including one person who has flown multiple times since late 2020 and just got it for the first time after a plane trip. Thanks to you and @TurtlePowerfor your kind words on my job situation. The prospect of being fired "for cause" and not being able to get COBRA is terrifying, since I have an autoimmune condition requiring a medication that costs thousands of dollars a month without insurance. The way I was treated yesterday, as well, indicates they are setting me up for a fall so they can claim it as a second offense. I'm in a real bind and researching other jobs.

Well looks like I'm gonna get fired. I got written up for a couple of things. One was complaining to a colleague about overwork - after three people on my team left/got fired recently, their duties were assigned to me. The other was the way I handled a call with a customer (she was in hysterics and I was empathizing). One of thousands of calls I've handled over the past year and a half. I handle incoming calls 40 hours/week on top of everything else. A couple of other people on my team handle incoming calls 4 hours a week each (as a backup while I am still also answering calls). I'm 62 and I have never gotten written up at any job in the past. Also I have a disability. At my previous company, I lasted through several rounds of layoffs and was respected and got a nice raise at least once a year. The company basically folded at the start of the pandemic and I was one of the last three people laid off and got severance.

Janelle Brown: Smarter Than Your Average Brown (Maybe)

It turns out it's from a video. You can see snow blowing sideways through the window. Hard to believe she drove from Phoenix to Flagstaff in that. ETA: I smell a reset announcement coming in 3-2-1... -

Could you say more about this please? I was not aware there was any controversy regarding anti-estrogen medication. I was on an estrogen blocker daily for about 8 months after my surgery for breast cancer in 2021. I stopped it last April when I was diagnosed with vasculitis. My oncologist now says I can take it 3x/week and have the same benefit as daily use. The medication has no relationship to the vasculitis, it's just that when dealing with the onset and a bunch of new meds, I just felt the estrogen blocker and hot flashes were too much to handle. For what it's worth, I'm not too concerned about weight gain - I've gained more from long-term prednisone use than I did from the estro blocker. I'm trying to work some of it off now that I'm down to a lower prednisone dose. (I may never be able to go off prednisone completely but I'm fortunate to be on a much lower dose than many others with my illness.) In keeping with our "accountabllity" topic, I've gotten up to the 30 minute Walk from Home video that also involves a bit of jumping and jogging in place, so kudos to the folks who mentioned these vids and yay me, I guess. -
There was one scene where Hunter came home from Air Force Academy Prep and did Truely's hair for her in the bathroom. I found that very touching. Christine and Janelle raised a wonderful person.

Christine Brown Woolley: Nacho Sister Wife Anymore
Teafortwo replied to Rhondinella's topic in Sister Wives
My two cents: I don't think Kody cares if Christine has a boyfriend. I think what chaps his ass is that this means she will get even more airtime than if she were single. The balance of "power" or at least focus has shifted from "man with four wives" to "wife liberates self from oppressive loveless marriage." Christine's new relationship, along with the new grandkids in N. Utah (for the TV audience, Avalon is new, too) outweighs any sort of drama or storyline Kody could pull off with Robyn and their kids. Unless he decides to perform "seeking another wife" which if he does, imo it will be purely for show. I don't think the gushing announcements are Christine grifting - my guess is that it's partly TLC-guided (in terms of the timeline of "I'm dating" followed a few days later by "I'm in love" etc) and largely Christine's giddiness at finding someone who seems really to care for her. I have no explanation for David's giddiness, though - we don't know anything about him, really, except that he is a widower and that a couple of his kids knew about Christine beforehand and are happy about their father dating her. And that he loves expensive toys (the ATV and the jeep on his instagram page). I'm looking forward to seeing how all this is rolled out on the show and I have a feeling that now that the crew is filming in Utah there is much less filming going on in Flagstaff. There's just much more going on in the former than the latter. Particularly since Gabe/Garrison/Gwen/Savanah are the only OG kids in Flag and don't seem to want anything much to do with their dad. And DayunAuroranBreanna seem not to want to be on camera much (good for them!) -
Robyn Brown: She wanted the family, but got stuck with the man.
Teafortwo replied to Rhondinella's topic in Sister Wives
Maybe Robyn can rename her business to My ex-Sisterwifes Closet. Or in honor of Mykelti, My ex-Sisterwifes Daughter's Closet. Ba-dump-bump. I'll show my self out. -

May explain the 4 nights spent in Mykelti's closet -
Does she want them to show up if they're under the weather?!

Kody Brown: The Man Who Survived a KNIFE to the KIDNEYS!
Teafortwo replied to Rhondinella's topic in Sister Wives
I'm guessing he'd be mostly indifferent, but definitely agree he's guarding his turf when it comes to Truely. Plus if they are filming a lot in Utah, I wouldn't put it past him to move up there for more camera time.
