  1. @Yeah Nomentioned sciatic in the Janelle thread. I'm going through a bout of sciatica now too. It's caused by being out of alignment, at least in my case. I've found the best way to realign my back is to sleep on my back with a pillow lengthwise under my torso, so that my butt is lower than my back and most of the weight is on my back above the tailbone. It sounds weird but works for me after a couple of nights. Also sleeping on my side with two pillows under my knees helps. Finally, squatting with knees wide apart and placing my elbows by the side of each knee, and pushing with elbows while pushing back with legs helps too (I learned this move in an exercise class). I am also using Tylenol very sparingly (two 500 mg tablets in a 24 hour period). Good luck!

  3. Let's change the thread title to something like, "Christine, single no more"
  4. So I guess season 19 will be their wedding (omg more cake "testing," venue and dress shopping), unless Christine gets a spinoff where it will happen in her season 1. I predict they announce their engagement as soon as Gwen gets married, probably before. Heck it's Valentine's Day - maybe it's already happened. I too, had signed up for one month of Mykelti's Patreon for $3.99 (the lowest tier), but I canceled so I wouldn't have to pay again and my membership ran out before the livestream.
  5. I, too, suspect they have been dating for quite awhile.
  6. I agree, especially after reading (on Reddit) that Robyn was apparently at Gwen and Bea's engagement party. I hope that was just speculation. Mykelti and Tony do seem to be jockeying for a role in bridging the gaps between the Flagstaff and Utah groups. I really don't care to see Robyn and Kody visiting M & T and the babies, or any more awkward moments between Truely and her sperm donor. Just no.
  7. I haven't seen much evidence that she is "coaching" - unless you count Plex-ugh and a few posts about food. I bet she's given it up. Plex-ick is more probably lucrative, given her "status" in the upline.
  8. This is not some random person imo. I'm betting there are mutual friends or friends of family in common.
  9. At one point Leon posted a picture of a calendar with their classes/assignments and I recall there were blocks marked out for work and I'm pretty sure an internship as well.
  10. Interesting. Leave Kody, get serious about health and exercise!

They live on yogurt, nuts, seeds, blueberries, fish and bananas. 🤫 And look pretty healthy. Lol ------------------ The above is from the Janelle thread. Reminds me of a good friend who lives out West (I'm in NYC). I've visited many times, but she hardly eats, and hikes briskly and for longer distances than I could manage even in my robust days. I am always hungry when I visit her! The only decent meals are when her husband grills. She eats the equivalent of one meal per day. Lunch is a small container of yogurt. When the kids were younger, there was deli turkey in the house - but I couldn't make a sandwich because it as earmarked for their school lunches. She's not dieting, is not anorexic, and maintains a healthy weight (not skinny). I love her but when I've visited I always feel like I am on a starvation diet! Toast and a yogurt for dinner after a lot of strenuous activity just doesn't work for me. Mind you, I barely ate anything today because, once again, there are mice and the exterminator came around 3 pm. They are getting bolder: they came out while I was taking a shower last night, just after I finished using the vacuum on its most powerful (loudest) setting, all around the apartment. The exterminator pointed out that they are used to loud noises due to all the construction taking place next door so they didn't fear the vacuum noise. On the plus side, I really like the exterminator. He's just a great guy. He wears an N95 (he had on the same kind as mine) and this time he had even put paper booties on before he knocked on my door. It's a blessing to have someone so nice to combat the infestation. I ordered dinner from a local restaurant tonight. I cleaned the kitchen first but I just couldn't deal with cooking.

  13. The Walk at Home videos are great! I'm only on the 20 minute one but hoping to go up to 30 this week. Trying to do it any day that I don't get a walk outside. Great recommendation!
  14. Other than making coffee with a French press (I think), I don't know anything about what Leon and Audrey are doing. I believe Leon worked as a program manager at a non-profit when they lived in Salt Lake City (after their stint at Lizzie's). For all we know, they moved to CO for a good solid job or jobs. Certainly it was to be in a more accepting place for trans people than SLC (although there are trans-phobes everywhere, alas). I kinda feel like this thread is a bit too hard on them. It wasn't their fault they were the only child in a large family and Meri raised them to feel entitled. And I cannot imagine the pain of trying to suppress one's true self while living in a fundamentalist environment.... Yes Leon is unlikeable in many ways and I don't admire the "emotional support" animal fakery and some other things, but I don't think they are any better or worse than some of the other sibling. If anything, more deserving of compassion than some.
  15. They also own at least one rental property, if not two, and there is the TLC money for the births/suck up to Robyn sessions etc
  16. Leon doesn't post much on Insta. Don't know about Tiktok. But appearing on the show, which has been pulling in a large audience lately, would mean drawing more attention to themselves, which could impact their safety. We all live in a dangerous world, but even moreso for trans people.
  17. This is a woman whose great uncle killed her grandfather, right? (Ervil killed Rulon iirc)
  18. I hope they don't. I think it might be hazardous to the well-being of both Leon and Audrey to appear on the show.
  19. This is a plastic thing being heated on a scratched teflon pan. Both are toxic.
  20. blechh, I've stayed in B&Bs that were a room and bath in someone's actual home that were much cleaner, more modern and sanitary than this.
  21. 11 hours ago, TurtlePower said: This. Many people are poorly informed on autism. Until recently (last decade or so), girls were under-diagnosed because their traits tend to differ from the traits of boys on the spectrum. Often, girls are told they have anxiety or OCD or that they’re just emotional, when it could be those things also linked to autism and the difficulties navigating a neurological disorder. JMO as an autistic person, but I don’t always see it as a “disability”. I’m very gifted in some areas including quick and unconventional problem solving, and I sometimes view it as evolution. The world is too “loud”, noisy and aggressive and my brain operates very well in certain environments. Maybe the neurotypicals are the ones who are “off” with their shouting and bright, noisy spaces. 😂 Expand ---------------------------------- My reply below: I think we (as a species) will evolve in this direction as well. Hopefully more people will come to recognize it. Although I am not on the spectrum, I have a VERY difficult time with noise and have trauma associated with noise, to the point of having had a breakdown when living above noisy neighbors. I have two acquaintances who are on the spectrum. One is very smart but has difficulty with executive function/making wise choices yet somehow has managed to stay afloat despite a gambling addiction (he loses at casino games but is skilled at poker) and propensity to "elope" - constantly fleeing to greener poker pastures. But he has never had parental support and was raised by an evangelical Christian, which certainly warped his worldview. He updates about his win/loss on a blog and is generally pretty honest - particularly when he has a huge slot machine loss. The other is a young man, friend of a friend, who wrote musical about his experiences growing up. I saw a staged reading of it and it was really good. I don't know what he is doing now (our mutual friend died and I haven't kept up with facebook) but his parents were extremely supportive and as a result, he received the attention/interventions or whatever the term is, necessary to learning how to function as well as possible in the neurotypical world. I hope more people come to recognize that many math/engineering/science people have been / are on the spectrum as well. Ted talk over.

  23. Meri is easy to bash as well, since she's been out of favor with Kody for years and years. Hoping these claims are exaggerations, otherwise you are right - their other mothers and their father are equally responsible for not putting a stop to it.
  24. I just tried this and it was great! Thank you and thanks @Absolomwho posted about it initially!!
  25. I'm thinking she really doesn't want any paying guests and this is all a show for her MLM downline people who get to come for free as a perk for their sales numbers. But this announcement lets Meri call herself a retreat organizer or what have you.
