  1. The NFL is an entertainment conglomerate made up of adults. The doctors should be required to treat the players as if money didn't exist, definitely. But the players should also be allowed to decide for themselves whether or not to listen to the doctors. If the players don't want to use their power to make the NFL (and college football) better and safter they, unfortunately, have that right.
  2. If that is why she didn't participate in the Challenge she shouldn't have been on Survivor in the first place.
  3. More like that woman made a choice that not having children period was the road for her. And society couldn't handle it because every "girl" (a word that should only be used to describe female children aged 1-25) is supposed to have an almost inbuilt need for babies, otherwise they're unnatural and cold.
  4. The moment Noelle threw blame onto her tribemate's challenge play when Noelle herself chose to sit out of the challenge, I started to really dislike her.
  5. The farm stand looked staid and boring. What happened the unique ceiling? That barn should have been painted red on the outside.
  6. I agree with a lot (a LOT) of what you said except this. HGTV and other "designers" have brainwashed people into believing that if a room or cabinets not white or very light grey everything will be dark and feel smaller. This isn't true at all. It's much more complicated than that. Same with the myth of great communication and "airiness" by open concept.
  7. People who believe that fame equals greatness. I'd be happy if fame equaled competence....
  8. I'm curious is Jamie only has a thing about being called a bitch or about all derogatory terms? If he'd been called a bastard or an asshole would he be as angry? There is something more than a bit misogynistic if he's only angered by being called a word that insults women specifically.
  9. The kitchen cabinets should have been British racing green (or hunter green as it's also called), or the backsplash. Or both! Calling that episode the Colourful Victorian was false advertising.
  10. Oh definitely. I've been more than lucky in that respect as well. Would rather have a great nurse than a great doctor a lot of the time! I've got to admit I'm curious how Kate is as a nurse. She can show superficial charm when she wants to.
  11. Doh! Totally missed that somehow. Great minds think alike and all that lol ;)
  12. Feel lucky you can't imagine it. I end up in hospital about twice a year and have met a few nurses like her. Worse even.
  13. I always wonder if anyone, including in the HH programmes, has ever gone through a decoy house and regretted the house they do own lol.
  14. That third Bangor place was builder grade boring. Were the two older boys at the end in the yard Jessica's other children? Possibly Josie's 1/2 sibs?
  15. I don't find it ridiculous. There's only so much you can do with decorating a box. Too many houses have no architectural features at all. Age doesn't equal uniqueness though. Especially nowadays when lots of older, formerly architecturally interesting, wonderfully designed places have been gutted and turned into the same old everyday vanilla.
  16. The bathroom at the Gloucester place was horrible and seemed below what they usually put out. Loved the black, but wished the kitchen had more colour. The families' neighbours didn't sound like great people and walking the goats was hysterical.
  17. Was it just inference or did the test pilot guy look like Tom Cruise to anyone else?
  18. There is at least one company who sells entire classic libraries, hundreds of books, to people who want to appear well read.
  19. Too much grey in the latest place, but otherwise quite nice.
  20. Even the best trained dogs will chase things and run off. Or attack like Cujo!!
  21. A lot of 12-year-olds, especially boys, are much closer in maturity to 8-10. So he probably does have toys. As well he should. Hell, I'm 41 and I've got "children's" toys. Society too often tries matures children beyond how they should act. (okay, that sentence is a bit off, but I hope you get what I mean)
  22. I'm pretty sure they meant the view of the ocean beyond the sparse or building filled land view.
  23. The Madrid real estate agent was annoying. He was complaining about one of the easiest pair searchers I've ever seen.
  24. Liking house styles that were common around where you grew up is quite different I'd say from requiring the house be exactly like the one you grew up in.
