  1. I'm kind of indifferent to Sontarans in the pantheon of Who baddies, but I really, really enjoyed this. It was a lot of fun and pretty exciting. Team Tardis in 3 different locations after landing in Crimea worked really well. The Doctor took charge in Crimea and was really strong against the Sontaran prisoner and the Sontaran commander and really ticked at the British general for blowing up the Sontaran ships after they agreed to retreat The actress playing Mary Seacole did a good job Good to see Yaz still acting confident even if she's not. Hopefully she and Vinder make it out alive as the new temple guardians. Had to laugh at Dan and Karvanista working together. Love their antagonistic relationship The Sontarans definitely are terrible at guarding their ships Swarm and Azure so far are making great villains I should also point out that I watched both via AMC+, AMC Network's (part owner of BBC America) streaming service, and BBC America, and the sound was much better on AMC+. On AMC+, there are 2 30-second promos for AMC+, the credits are not squeezed, but the next time trailer is only 15 seconds, where BBC America has the longer one
  2. Episode 2: "Saturday Morning Pinks" (November 12, 2021) - This may be about Star Trek: The Animated Series from the 70s By the way, the series is narrated and executive-produced by Gates McFadden (TNG's Doctor Crusher)
  3. From the History Channel It’s on Fridays at 10pm ET and premiered November 5. It’s supposed to be 10 episodes but it looks like the first 4 will be on the History Channel and the remaining 6 will be shown via History’s streaming site http://www.thefutoncritic.com/news/2021/10/25/the-history-channel-to-celebrate-star-treks-55th-anniversary-with-ten-part-docuseries-the-center-seat-55-years-of-star-trek-premiering-friday-november-5-at-10pm-et-pt-391011/20211025history01/ I really enjoyed the first episode, going through how the show was created and how Lucille Ball was involved via her Desilu studio
  4. Definitely adorable piglet and the young penguin was cute too. I even liked Matt the camel
  5. He's a real person and the Photo Ark is a real project, underwritten by National Geographic I think, so it was a blatant plug by Disney, since they stream Nat Geo programs on Disney+. There was a 2 part documentary on it on Nat Geo Wild last year, a PBS doc on it in 2017, and a new season coming up on Disney+. But at the same time, it might be interesting for Trina do a project about it
  6. I enjoyed it overall. I think the Sanchez vs Hondo continuing story is interesting as long as they make the journey and the resolution interesting, even if we know Hondo will win somehow in the end
  7. I did not expect that lady convict Anthony was helping to be a cold-hearted killer. She was sympathetic earlier in the episode and so scary at the end Always nice to see Stacy Keach. I’m glad the Archbishop and Frank were able to work things out i can’t help but feel great satisfaction when the bad guy gets flattened by a vehicle while running away

  13. Really good, enjoyable episode with a lot of good interaction with the guest characters, especially Zari and Eddie
  14. British writer Bob Baker has died. He wrote several episodes of Doctor Who and created the robot dog K9
  15. Good episode and it showed some definite differences between the US and Afghani cultures. Hazel revealing herself made me jump a bit but Riley made me jump more
  16. Some more challenge games for the cast

  18. Not just Whitewater though. He also investigated the death of Vince Foster, the firing of the White House Travel Office personnel, potential political abuse of confidential FBI files, the Rose Law Firm, Madison Guaranty, and the Paula Jones lawsuit (thanks Wikipedia). I mean, he was allowed to expand into these other investigations, but it was a big sprawling mess of stuff. Before the Lewinsky scandal, nothing he investigated found anything on the Clintons themselves. I feel to this day that maybe someone else should have investigated the Paula Jones and Lewinsky stuff as it just feels like Starr might have taken on too much and possibly might have been frustrated in not getting something on the Clintons at that point. Forcing Monica to detail all the sex acts with Clinton totally feels icky, wrong and unnecessary even to this day As for Clinton lying under oath in the Jones deposition about a separate affair, it still feels like something like that doesn't rise to the level of impeachment, or even warrant a big investigation; a Congressional censure would have sufficed.
  19. The next episode explores being gay and Nigerian, focusing on Abishola’s cousin Morenike https://www.tvinsider.com/1020734/bob-hearts-abishola-season-3-morenike-gay-kemi-gina-yashere/
  20. Renewed! Plus holiday special confirmed http://www.thefutoncritic.com/news/2021/11/04/fox-returns-to-fantasy-island-with-second-season-pickup-372012/20211104fox02/
  21. Further analysis from that account (the episode ranked 2nd for the night): https://ratingsukfilmandtv.blogspot.com/2021/11/doctor-who-flux-halloween-apocalypse.html Also, the AI for the episode was 76. Not great but the ratings and rank were pretty good, so the AI is probably not something we as fans and viewers should worry too much about
  22. Did they really need to though? It seems the whole ordeal was just because Clinton's enemies wanted to catch him doing something illegal, so they tried to get him to lie about his affair with Monica while he was being deposed about Paula. I can totally understand why he had to do a deposition about Paula, as she had accused him of wrongdoing. But then the lawyers had heard about Monica and tried to get him to lie about it, which he essentially did (but only because a Paula lawyer provided him an out with an overly specific definition). But it was an affair that both he and Monica participated in and she didn't see it as abuse, and it shouldn't have been brought up and Ken Starr shouldn't have turned it into an investigation, especially given he was already flopping on his other investigations of the Clintons. This was a mess that could have and should have been avoided, especially getting the nitty gritty details. That last part is probably what hurt Monica the most, with people knowing every last sexual detail of her affair with Bill; well, that and the tapes. Everyone involved that tried to make the affair public and get all the details, including Linda, were just out to get something for themselves, including taking Bill down. I think the grand jury and the reporters at the press conference really saw through Linda and her excuses. The women caught up in this mess, including Hillary, did not deserve any of it, though I'm not sure what to think of Juanita Broderick and her flip-flopping, even now. Of course, Bill and Monica were in the wrong for having the affair, but to get sicced on by a federal investigator and forced to testify about it in detail that was then made very public was unnecessary. This was a really good episode that was by turns infuriating and interesting
