I think this whole season is a waste of time. I see no one on that list that I want to root for, unlike Poppycock and Kenichi. Still, I'll watch, just because.

I know nothing of Nene Leakes and don't care about her. I cannot remember ever hearing Sherri sing, try to sing, or talk about singing. She might have a voice. Meryl Streep and Glenn Close are two fine actresses who can sing, yet they don't in their acting roles.

Yahoo said that Melissa was a production assistant on one of Jenny's shows before she hit it big. Jenny tried to "help" her cousin by suggesting that she lose weight because fat actresses don't get anywhere in Hollywood. When Melissa found her own way to success, Jenny felt she didn't give her (Jenny) enough credit for helping her (Melissa) out. The split between them grew as Melissa's career did, and the article further suggested the physical distance between them contributed to the rift. Take it or leave it.

The fabulous Japanese guy who won last year (whose name I can never remember) was no amateur -- this guy has performed all over the world and is a star in other countries. I suppose many people think it's their chance at stardom. Others are invited and get put right through. But they're all boring this year except for Smoothini, so I can go back to Big Brother for the first hour.

I am. He was VERY wrong in what he said. Sherri moderating today was absolutely the most painful experience I've ever had on this show. Her squealing was painful; her ghetto talk difficult to follow.

"Greatest season ever?" Hardly. Nobody is a standout or even worth remembering. I am tired of broken people and their boring backstories. I am REALLY tired of little kids who sob, "This is my dream; I wanted to do this my WHOLE LIFE." Yeah? Finish school and survive puberty before you shoot for stardom, you little brat. If you have talent, you won't need this show to bring it out. Apparently none of the contestants ever thinks to ask what has become of past winners.

Because of this discussion, I called my insurance company and found out the shingles vaccine is covered 100%. (THANKS, OBAMACARE!) So I got it today.

I did not hear applause for Sherri being gone today. I did hear a smattering of applause when Whoopi mentioned that the President is going on vacation and was being criticized for that.

Being gay and overweight are not reasons to be "hated" or "despised." As for disliking Bush and Reagan, I thought most people did. There are crazier things to hate than thinking 9/11 was a conspiracy (Benghazi, anyone?). Frankly, if her detractors are bigoted homophobic flaming right-wingers who bellow I-won't-watch-the-View-if-Rosie-comes-on, I say GOOD and WE WON'T MISS YA. Besides, she's lost weight since her heart attack and looks terrific.

Sherri is filing for divorce in NJ and Sal in CA, which have very different laws regarding surrogacy. In NJ she would not be considered the baby's mother. That's all I know, so I won't speculate. As for that picture of her in the fast-food kitchen, I can guarantee that their insurance company would have had a fit had they seen a non-employee like that behind the counter. If she had fallen, or caused harm to someone else because of her desperate attempt to appear funny, there would have been hell to pay. Literally.

What evidence do you offer to back up your statement? Rosie hosted a very successful and popular talk show for years before coming to the View, and has a good reputation for working with children and the arts. The fact that you dislike her is not proof that she is "widely despised." Those are specific words -- why is she "widely despised," and by whom?

No, she'd say, "why is Obama allowing us to put Prince to be on the cover of a magazine?"

Sherri hasn't got the emotional or intellectual gravitas to carry a talk show. She should stick to developing her acting ability, doing decent standup and being an entertaining occasional guest. .That should keep her busy for the rest of her performing life.
