I did not feel a bit of sympathy for Tracey. She's a murdering, scheming, lying psychopath who is raising her daughter to be just like her. But just to be clear, I love her as a character! She injects a whole lot of evil energy to this show that it badly needs.

Man, I totally agreed with the upthread poster who said she had John pegged as the one to drop out. I thought he would go after nine days, and that Amanda would make it "for her kids." I'm glad, and sorry, I was wrong. John needs to stay away from his toxic family, and actually, so does Amanda. But she went running back home to the bosom of her loving family (!!) and if anyone thinks she's off heroin and on methadone only, I have some lovely swampland in Florida to sell you.

Every single one of those people were meth-heads. Raspy voices, missing teeth, haggard faces, even the fair Stormy Pearl looked rode hard.

I absolutely loved the Platts with the family therapist. Any time the Corrie cast "goes to a meeting", wacky hijinx are sure to ensue. Another of my favorite scenes was when Peter Barlow had his family attend an AA meeting. God, so funny! In other news, I'm bored with the tortured Alya, tired of the menopause pregnancy (well, that resolved itself), and am intrigued by the Mysterious Kathy (? potential love interest for Roy). What's her deal? I can't wait to find out her secrets. I am also relieved to see Miley go to a good home. Watching Faye try to emote anything other than sullenness was sheer torture.

Seriously, Puli handler? You're showing your best of breed dog in Madison Square Garden in a yellow velour track suit? Maybe her luggage got lost, but still: go shopping and buy something appropriate.

Of course they are not real people. This season is full of the fakiest fake-fake competitors I have ever seen.

Maybe they edit it out, but I would love for the good doctor to stress to all his patients that they need THERAPY and COUNSELLING to deal with their issues around food.

I just watched the first season on Youtube and was delighted to see a couple that was actually hot for each other. All the celibacy that the other couples practice is just.so.boring. Pao is a knock-out and I was surprised and delighted that Russ actually moved out of the kiddie bedroom into a real apartment to get it on with that stunner!

I just wanted to thank you all for the real deal on Tamra and Simon. All the info is just so sordid and juvenile. Simon is absolutely right to keep their children off the show, even if it is just to piss Tamra off. As always, my sympathies are with the children, and I don't even like kids very much. Actually, I hate seeing normal kids turn into self-aware, camera-loving attention whores. Like Tamra!

I only watch this show off and on and I am curious about Tamra's custody battle with Simon. You all seem to know what' is going on; I don't like to click on links to avoid nasty malware, so can someone synopsize what happened or is currently happening with Simon? Or if it's covered in another thread, let me know where I can find it. Thanks so much! Tamra is vile. I thought Shannon looked like she was observing interesting animal behavior at the zoo during the reunion as she looked at Heather and Tamra. I don't know any of these women, but I think I would like to hang out with Shannon, even though as a hard core cynic I think her holistic beliefs are nonsense. I just kind of like her.

I didn't watch the first season, so I have some questions about the family structure that weren't answered by my close watching of Season 2. So Mom Janet had Daniel and Amantha, and then her husband died and she married Ted who had Teddy. Who's son is Jared? Ted's or Daniel's dad (Sorry, I don't know what his name was)? Jared is supposed to be around 16 or 17, right? How long was Daniel in jail? I figured about 20 years, which means Jared never knew him at all. Thanks for any help y'all can provide.

I took the online test in January 2013. I missed three questions, so believed I had no chance of being called. I had taken the test before in 2003 maybe, when Jeopardy! was on the road, and missed three questions and did not progress to the test game. So I promptly forgot about it and said, "Wait until next year!" However, I got an email in May 2013 inviting me to a contestant try-out in Toronto in July. I have friends all around that area, so used it as an opportunity to reconnect with old friends and see Niagara Falls. I was very very nervous, so my memory of the test is hazy, but they give you another 50 question test, an interview, and you participate in a mock game. They give you pointers, and I presume if you don't follow directions, you are off the list. For instance, these soft spoken girls were asked *twice* to speak up and didn't. Buh-bye. We were told that more than 100,000 people take the test, 2,000 people are asked to try out, and only 400 people make the list, and you are on the list for 18 months. Several people in my group had tried out two or three times already (I mean the contestant try-out, not just the online test). We were told the calls would start in late August or September. I was prepared to cross the tryout off my bucket list, but I got a call in early September to invite me to LA for the show. I went, came in second, and now figure I don't have to remember a damn thing for the rest of my life. Unless I get a second chance...with better categories and a worse champ...when Alex retires. Call me, Jeopardy!

I hate Carla. I hated her with Paul. I hated her with Liam. I hated her with Frank (?). And I hate her with Peter. I think that pregnancy is going to suck up all the energy of the show and I am going to hate it. She is a tedious, whiny, abhorrent person and if she thinks Peter is going to be a good father, she is smoking crack.

My DVR stopped recording at the one hour mark; I had not realized it ran about 15 minutes later, and it appears it will not be re-aired before Episode 2. Damn it! It appears that the last 15 minutes were pretty important. So who is dead? Lester's wife and the nice sheriff whose wife is pregnant?

Cobie has my undying love for wearing sensible boots instead of 6 inch high spike heels. Smart Canadian girl!
