  1. I got Cooper's hawk without even seeing the picture. Not sure I would have known it was the wrong bird.
  2. No, he traced "007" (I forget why they called him that) on Meredith's hand and she figured out it was him, then Callie remembered a birthmark he had and checked for it to confirm. https://greysanatomy.fandom.com/wiki/George_O'Malley#Death
  3. I like Amy, too, but I was hoping for someone we didn't just see. But I'm happy for her.
  4. He got hit by a bus trying to save someone else from being hit by it.
  5. I'm not a big drinker, but I will take whatever alcoholic beverage goes best with fuzzy ravioli. 🍸 (I do have black Sambuca...)
  6. I've been getting those ads where suddenly a thick border appears around the screen, then retreats a bit and the ad pops up from the bottom and covers a third of my screen. There's a little arrow to minimize it and then an x appears so you can close it. Minimized it's about the size of the perma-ad bar that's already at the bottom of the screen (which you used to be able to close.) They're annoying as hell and I mostly have only seen them on this site. It's happened at least three times just while I was catching up on this thread. I googled and found some really cute dino wedding cake toppers. Of course none of them were groom and groom. Probably wouldn't be Isaac's style but how cute are these little guys?
  7. Week 31: 1/5 YTD: 75/155 (48%) with 6* I won't bring the plate of ravioli I had to clean off my carpet while I watched on Friday. You're welcome.
  8. April 12: Didn't keep score because I was too busy cleaning my dinner out of my carpet. 😡 FJ was an instaget. ETA: there were 8 missed clues in the first round and 5 in the second. I got ticklish and solvent.
  9. It barely feels like Sheldon's part of the family anymore. Even when he's home he's more of a side character. My friend's house was flooded during hurricane Sandy and they had to have it raised (which didn't even happen until a couple years later, I think); it was supposed to be 4-6 months but took a year because of contractor issues. During that year they stayed in a house that belonged to a friend of her mom's, but he was getting ready to sell it and had already moved. I swear this place hadn't been redecorated since at least the 70s if not the 60s, the oven and stove were most certainly older than us (born 1975), and not in a cool vintagey way, and the bathroom was fully carpeted. I don't even want to know what the floor looked like under that carpet.
  10. That's who that was! I couldn't place him.
  11. Why did it seem like the drunk students didn't get any less drunk while they were in the ER? The one guy got an MRI for a dislocated shoulder. You cannot tell me that didn't take hours in a busy hospital. But the blond guy was still apparently just as inebriated as when they got there.
  12. Aren't scavenger hunts supposed to include clues as to what you're looking for?
  13. Guy is literally on the edge and Bailey's first thought is "I told her to go home"?
  14. That baby is too cute! Apparently Dale only knows songs about murder.. Um, Cece lives in the Coopers' house. I'd say Mary has more standing to keep the baby. "And carpet everywhere, even in the kitchen." "That's a terrible idea." We had carpet in the kitchen when I was a kid. Red and black houndstooth carpet. Yes, it's a terrible idea. (It was there when we moved into the house but it was a few years before my parents replaced it.) Okay, I might take back my comment about not missing this show. There are things I will miss.
  15. Um, Alberta does know she can follow the polterguest upstairs, right? I love that Isaac is still on the dinosaur kick. The fifer is back! "Just cuz they say it doesn't mean we have to."
  16. April 11: 83% / 47% / 64% Finally! A good round after all these months! At the first break I was at 93% (14 out of 15). In J! I ran Manhattan, Unreal Estate, and Double Letters in the Middle, missed one in "T.P" and Year Ending in 4, and three in Abbreviated Television. And back to form for DJ…missed one in Food Talk and Timely Words, three in Women in Ancient Times and Colorful Geography, and four in Manhattan Project and Musicians' Memoirs. (They took down two trees in front of my building today and now I'm all discombobulated. Yeah, that's it.) Did not get FJ. TSes: (J had 4; DJ had 7) I got 1614, fellow, and Thank You (which was a guess but that's good enough). Alison started out strong in the first half of the round and after her alligator makeout story I had to root for her; she's funny. But I would have been fine with Brian, too. Lee winning yesterday was clearly a fluke and I'm glad she didn't win again after a couple of her responses. (Psst, "Oppenheimer" was in the clue.)
  17. I have Young Sheldon and Ghosts and Grey's Anatomy (which is probably not any better but I've come this far I gotta watch to the end). Also The Conners from last night but 600 lb chat takes precedence over that. ;)
  18. According to the archive, the last JIT game was taped February 28th and yesterday's (and I assume the rest of this week) was taped March 12th.
  19. The episode description just mentioned her mom bailing on her (which after hearing her back story wasn't surprising; she didn't sound like the most reliable parent), so I was surprised that everyone else seemed to as well. The exact wording was "she'll be in for a shock when her mom decides that caring for her is just too much." But we didn't even see that, just jumped to her being on her own in a hotel. I knew it was going nowhere when they showed us the entire trip to Houston. Way too much time filled with that (not sure what time they started the trip, but it wasn't too long into the episode, and it was almost an hour in before they actually got there). They obviously didn't have much else to use. I will assume someone else will watch and post if there is anything worth sharing. (I don't watch the supersize episodes, anyway. I have better things to watch on Thursday.)
  20. I speculated in the other thread that it might be someone well-known that we haven't seen in a while (the only names I could come up with off the top of my head were Brad and Buzzy, but Buzzy does the podcast and other J! stuff so I assume he's not eligible to play anymore). I would like Sam B just because I love him and would like to see him again. Wouldn't object to Cris Panullo, either.
  21. I really want to know what happened with her family and the friend who was willing to spend a week driving to Houston and back and then completely disappeared from the narrative.
  22. "Working to save up money" to move to Houston. Working at what?
  23. "I wish you luck and I hope you wake up"...ouch, Doc.
  24. So sister and/or friend aren't around to even give her rides anywhere, either...looks like she's using Uber or cabs.
