  1. March 21: 67% / 37% / 52% In J! I missed one in There Will Be a Test on This and Cinema in 2023, and two in everything else. In DJ I missed two in On the Nose, all five in In Your Element, and three in everything else. But I got FJ and it was almost an instaget. TSes: (J had 3; DJ had 3) I got e-bikes. I should have gotten the Shakespeare clue; I read a book last year called Shakespeare Was a Woman and other Heresies, just couldn't come up with the name. Leonard was on the Teen Tournament longer ago than I thought (2013!) but I still find it hard to believe he now has two Masters degrees and is working on a doctorate....
  2. This is neat...an animated graph of last night's game. https://www.facebook.com/reel/994771028961130 (edited to add description because I wasn't sure if FB video links embed or not; apparently not)
  3. Okay, good to know. Gotta stop at Trader Joe's and restock my dried cherries on my way home from an appointment this afternoon (it's the only place I can find the kind I like...it's pretty much the only thing I ever buy there; I usually get four bags at a time and they last me a few months).
  4. I have several cups from multiple brands in my fridge...Siggi's, Fage, and Oikos. They're all cherry flavored (the Fage is black cherry and the others are just regular cherry). I know grapes and oranges are taboo; what's the verdict on cherries? (I also use dried cherries in my oatmeal a lot, and have at least two bags of frozen cherries in the freezer. One of them is destined for a sauce to mix into the large container of plain Fage yogurt I also have in the fridge; the other I've used for smoothies with kefir (aka drinkable yogurt) and cherry-chocolate milkshakes. I might have a problem. 🍒) (Edit: I forgot about the bottle of Wegman's black cherry kefir, which I haven't tried yet.)
  5. I have to say, from the episode description ("a routine trip to the grocery store ends up in an EMT emergency") I thought the emergency was 1.) going to be an actual medical emergency that would land her in the hospital, not just needing help getting up and into the house, and 2.) was going to happen at the grocery store (we didn't even see the actual shopping trip...they jumped right from leaving the house to coming home so quickly I was confused about whether they'd actually gone anywhere). Glad for her that it at least happened in the relative privacy of their yard and not in the middle of a public place. (Imagine all the people staring!)
  6. (Expanding on one of my comments from the chat...) I can't hate her. She's been through a lot of crap - unstable childhood, at least two abusive partners (though she didn't say in what way they were abusive) and divorces, lost one baby to stillbirth, another to her ex (I don't think she said if she actually got to see him or have a relationship with him; did the ex take him away completely or did he just get primary custody?...and given whatever happened with her daughter later, maybe there were legitimate reasons for him getting custody), strained relationship with her daughter (which I don't think we got enough details about to comment on but her own history surely didn't help). Her daughter doesn't seem to have written her off completely so maybe there's hope for a better relationship in the future. Hopefully she's getting some therapy. But now she has a husband who seems like a nice guy, who works an actual job (they even commented on his being able to transfer his job to Houston; someone in the chat said his shirt looked like Amazon so maybe a delivery driver or warehouse worker; either one would probably be easy enough to get a transfer, especially to a big city). He had his moments but was overall supportive, they were laughing and joking with each other at home (and it didn't feel like they were 'acting'; they seemed to enjoy each other's company). And despite her apparent lack of trying for most of the episode, she had a relatively good attitude (even when she wasn't following the diet, I felt less like she was making excuses than that she didn't fully understand it, which is still on her for not doing the work to understand but didn't make me as annoyed as some others who clearly just didn't want to *cough William cough*). She seems like a pleasant enough person to be around, at least, not flat and empty, or angry and blaming everyone around her for her situation or acting like they owe her their help, and polite and thankful to the people helping her. She wasn't significantly smaller but she was moving so much better by the end; I have hope for her.
  7. Might have to wait until after the JIT, if my score tonight is any indication.
  8. Apparently it was this place: https://www.discoverygreen.com/location/listening-vessels/
  9. A quick google finds it on Amazon, Etsy, Walmart, and a couple of those t-shirt sites I always get ads for on facebook. Have a good week, everyone! Go easy on the yogurt!
  10. Right? I can't hate her. She's been through a lot of crap. And despite her apparent lack of trying for most of the episode, she has a relatively good attitude. She seems like a pleasant enough person to be around, at least.
  11. Hubby's shirt says The Sarcasm is Strong with this One! They know we're here!
  12. The first episode they were in a park that had some kind of art installation where you could whisper on one side and they could hear you on the other, but I believe this is the first actual gallery.
  13. Walk in the par-...I mean, art gallery?!
  14. Hey, the Black Screen warned him. Not your fault if he didn't heed the warning.
  15. I have a Dr. Now quote on my fridge. (I had a cute little magnetic frame and nothing to put in it, so typed it up in a fancy-ish font and made the colors to match the frame and printed it out.) "My suggestion is don't do that." Which is good advice for a lot of things...
  16. Yeah, but she pretty much just started doing it an hour and a half in.
  17. Lost 73 pounds. I'm genuinely surprised. Oh, and I have a chocolate milkshake. Actually it's more of a milk float with vanilla ice cream and chocolate syrup that I stirred up with a spoon. Nothing was shaken and I didn't feel like getting the blender out.
  18. So do I but I don't weigh 651 pounds. I keep feeling a heat on my neck and freaking out for a second before I remember I have one of those heat wrap things on, but it's been a few hours and the sticky tabs have unstuck, and also it expired like nine months ago so it didn't get as hot as it should, so I only feel it when I tilt my head back and it makes direct contact with my skin.
  19. Exactly. I'm wondering if there was a social worker and a judge involved...
  20. Right? They had an "argument" when her daughter was 12 and they have no relationship? That baby is adorable.
  21. She has a granddaughter? And her daughter's only 19?
  22. Mom is not suggesting Delana drive a giant truck, is she?
