  1. I thought she was using one of those stamp-on stencil eyebrow kits? But, one is bigger than the other. I hope they can speed things up to get the show closer to real time. I thought it would be interesting to see the spin they put on things we may already know. How they scripted the situations. Why did Robbing step in and ruin one thing that could have helped maybe save a premise for the show by screwing up the gift exchange? The 5 adults have become unwatchable, where they could have some more storyline with the adult kids that might bring some relief.
  2. He doesn't know the definition of "gaslighting", but he sure is good at performing it.
  3. What does the nanny doooooooooo????? sorry, couldn't resist.
  4. "Eversense" the popularity of reality TV, influencers and social media. Whenever I hear "ever since", it puts my teeth on edge. There are a few other phrases or mispronunciations that are equally as irritating. I don't know if they do it trying to be cutesy, trendy, or relatable. Why did he NOT put the damn training wheels on the bike to begin with? What kid learns to ride a bike without training wheels?
  5. I think they always equate using a grill with smoke flavored and burned in grill marks as grilled food. On Next Level Chef, they had a grill challenge where the contestant just used the grill like a stove top. Nothing really touched the grill, but they used the grill with pots and pans. I have had such trouble watching this season. It just doesn't hold my attention and with it being 2 back-to-back episodes I have had to restart it from the beginning so many times. Another of my questions is Does Aaron Sanchez ever eat besides at the judging table? He always seems to be getting a big mouthful of food and then rushing back down to grab more before he is even chewing the bite he has in his mouth. [eta: As I am finishing this weeks episode...... "Your scallops are undercooked" followed by Aaron stuffing a big bite into his mouth of food off the plate that looked like scallop]
  6. When they're side-by-side facing the camera for TH's, they both look like cartoon caricatures to me. Not very good ones at that.
  7. In the beginning of the show when they showed the person's name and product, I did look up a few on the Internet to see what they were.
  8. Watching the Last Resort, noticed that Angela's lower teeth look freakishly huge. With the dental work she had done, why would they have done her teeth that way?
  9. My first thought when they showed the resort from the air that it looks like a spot they did the honeymoons for Married At First Sight during the pandemic when they couldn't travel out of the country. The place they went to was in the Florida Keys and Myrla was going on and on about what a slum it was. I think the fact that it doesn't have the typical beach like you'd expect at a beach resort doesn't help it's "jankiness".
  10. Well, not surprising they'd have to close. They probably lost a good chunk of revenue after he married Amy and hasn't been able to frequent the place as much as before. 😄
  11. I missed that part where he told her to do it like that. I just found it so bizarre. Why "sprinkle" the star of the show on top like a bit of garnish? I don't like a ton of sauce on my pizza, but I expect it coating the crust.
  12. I think that instead of getting immunity with the 'safety bake", next time they should go back to getting an extra clue. Sometimes they way things are decorated, how would someone know exactly how a cake was decorated? The gals that won, did a great job with the cutout cake. They somehow were almost exactly the same cake. But the cake in the finale, who would have done it that same way? If it was something that wasn't as specifically decorated like a cake, maybe eliminate one of the "red herring" clues for the winner of the first round or something that might help them with picking the right type of dessert to make if the ingredients could be used for multiple things.
  13. I caught some episodes of this show on a previous season. Just noticed it last Saturday for episode 2? I came here last weekend looking for a thread for it and didn't see anything. I haven't watched the episodes yet. Was going to see if I could find the first episode to watch first.
  14. The construction of the pizza strip doesn't sound so bad. Room temp sounds horrendous. Using something like a focaccia and dipping it in sauce sounds similar to that concept. But she had pizza dough, she put on all the toppings like you would on a pizza and then just plopped random blobs of sauce here and there on top of everything. I know there are some that say you do sauce, then cheese and then other toppings and others say do sauce, toppings and then cheese.
  15. I agree with so much that everyone has already posted. This really stood out to me about Shark Tank. Why couldn't he go on Shark Tank and invest in things? Oh, he wouldn't be the star of the show. So he makes his own show. Then he has the contestants do a bunch of stupid challenges and things to make them look like idiots like he does on his other competition shows. He could make it a series of shows for a season where 2 episodes to weed through 5-6 different entrepreneurs and give one of them a deal. Then do that 4-5 times for a "season" of episodes. Less stupid challenges that have nothing to do with their businesses. Give less $$ because the biggest pull to the businesses is being attached to his name in some way. Just like going on Shark Tank gives folks a boost even if they don't get an investment. I thought the way pink hair pizza did the sauce on top of all the ingredients instead of on the crust and then ingredients on top was so bizarre. Who does that? Put all the stuff on a pizza and then glob on blobs of sauce? Too many coffee products already out there and I couldn't figure anything new about hers. I've seen other coffee companies doing sustainable, 3rd world boosting, etc. Nothing really new with her product. The idea of the 3-d printing stuff, why put it in a cup of any kind? Something that would be cool is to print them on some sort of edible paper or print them in a manner so that it was a sheet that you would add to your own cup of water or bowl? Something like that would be good for use in meal rations for the military, zombie apocalypse preppers, backpackers and campers, or disaster relief situations. Get a packet of sheets of things and then you'd just need a container and water. I do remember a product like that for cleaning supplies that was on Shark Tank. They used printed sheets of window cleaner or laundry detergent?
  16. idk why Mom's always do that curl thing on top of kids' heads. My Mom did that to my little sister in her baby pictures and with her big buggy eyes, she looked like a sleestack off of Land of the Lost.
  17. A content creator is like an influencer. They use social media like Tiktok, youtube, instagram, facebook, twitch to try make posts and videos to be funny, creative, innovative, loud, obnoxious, ridiculous, etc. to get more followers, subscribers, likes, comments, interaction, adulation, validation, free stuff from advertisers, money from advertiser to give them advertising focused to their followers, etc. Sometimes there are content creators that do things like make how-to videos or other educational type posts that don't seem to be caught up in the $$ aspect of it all. That are actually factual and useful information.
  18. Did anyone else catch the Capt of the blue team, when someone gave her a really long french fry to taste, take it in her mouth, bite down and then spit the rest into a tray of buns or something she was carrying?
  19. I'm not feeling it this season. I feel like the more outlandish personalities they pick, the more it seems like they're faking just how bad of cooks they are. [eta: I enjoyed watching them progress in their cooking skills and learn more than the drama and theatrics.]
  20. Too many stupid innuendos about food. Yeah, we all know peach and eggplant emojis. But that's for text messages, not in the kitchen. It just seems like all the people on this show try to be louder and funnier and more overly dramatic than the others. Gone are the days when they really try go get the worst cooks that might really want to learn to cook.
  21. The only time I've seen them wear jackets or anything because of the cold it was on Below Deck Adventure set in Norway, I think. All the others are tropical, or filmed in warm weather season.
  22. She wasted her money on those. Turns out that wasn't the trick to flip Gino's switch.
  23. Totally not staged. Everyone has inflatable walkers to use as an over-the-hill skit prop.
  24. I was just fininshing watching the episode and was running here to say pretty much what you just said. When I think of the West, German food and Octoberfest isn't what I think of. Nor do I think of butter chicken. There were so many dishes that I don't feel were representative of the region. I know we have a melting pot of people and cultures, but there are predominant foods you think of for the regions of the US. People of all ethnicities live in all areas of the US, so those types of foods aren't really tied to a US spot. I was sure that Kendal would win because of the fuss over the sauce. His dish looked appetizing and like something you'd find in a restaurant, not just a fancier home cooked meal.
  25. Sure the team she punished was the team that helped her win, but I think she did the smart thing for all teams. That team had more members than anyone else so I feel it was fair to all the others for them to be cut 10 minutes.
