  1. I'm certainly not a family law attorney, so that makes sense, although I would think unconscionable terms would be something that would be determined by a judge if Todd were to later fight the pre-nup. I had thought unconscionability was a contract defense against enforcement of the terms.
  2. Co-sign this entire post. Most especially #3, how does she have friends in real life? I couldn't handle a 5 minute conversation with her. How does she order fast food, it must take her half an hour to get out an order for a Big Mac and french fries!
  3. Candice was a saint, if I were her in that house i would have set Aaryan on fire while she was sleeping.
  4. But I would think that the consideration, if it was the same for both parties would be a reasonable contract. But now you're saying that to have an equal bargain, one person's promise to become a spouse is worth the other person's promise to become a spouse + forfeiture to their rights of millions in assets. And while the law doesn't promise people an equal bargain, and it doesn't keep people from making a bad deal, where the deal is so bad, I think courts have found lack of consideration, or unconscionability. I believe this is why most pre-nup's generally offer the spouse something (ie - $200,000 if you divorce, in exchange for not trying to come after my assets) I think it might be unconscionable with some of the terms (get out of the house in 30 days) and if certain terms are unconscionable, the court's question I believe would be whether or not they could keep the spirit of the agreement by razing out the unconscionable terms. If there are too many unconscionable terms the court, I believe would be more likely to simply void it out. I don't know that the court is so concerned with someone being destitute, because broke people divorce all the time, I would think the court would be more concerned with whether or not both parties were given consideration for what they gave up. The are both osetensibly getting a "life partner" in the deal, but one of them is getting a life partner and the ability to dodge any laws Georgia has for the split of assets after a divorce...to the tune of millions of dollars. That bargain may be so unequal that its seen as there being a lack of consideration, or the terms being so unconscionable as to render it voidable.
  5. I was taught not to cry (and I'm a girl!) and I'm also on blood pressure medication. But I just can't sympathize with the "look at me behavior" especially when it comes to something I think is personal and private. I think his natural reaction is to look for public approval for everything so it might be a natural reaction for me, but some things IMO are made more special by keeping them private. But we all deal with things differently, so I'm trying not to knock frankie, but just say that I have a lot of respect for Derrick in how he handled the situation.
  6. And thats the sneakiness of Phaedra. As long as she had plausible deniability she was perfectly fine going all over Atlanta and lying about Kenya. Thats why IMO, she was so pissy that they were talking in Mexico. Before Mexico, she could always claim that she didn't know that Apollo was lying. But I think she knew full well Apollo was lying based on her own actions. Once Apollo admitted that he was lying on national TV, she couldn't go around lying about Kenya and pretending to be a victim, and pretending that Apollo was just an innocent being propositioned by Kenya for sex, she couldn't go around sacrificing someone for her image of a perfect family that doesn't exist. If she continued to go around saying that Kenya offered Apollo sex after he admitted on national TV that she never did, then Kenya could sue her. That "read" by Phaedra was so pathetic it doesn't even bear mentioning. A good "read" doesn't sound like something you practiced in front of the mirror, and its certainly not something that you yourself are guilty of. From all the rumbles, it was Phaedra who was the head doctor, even Chuck admitted to having a relationship with Kandi, but basically called Phaedra some chick he just had sex with. And its Phaedra who had two kids by a criminal, liar, and a cheat. Apparently, the only men who want Phaedra are criminals, liars and cheaters, so...congratulations?
  7. Both of those names are just as applicable as Classiq!
  8. Or he could just say he made a mistake! I want to forgive him and I want to like him. And everyone makes mistakes. People get caught up in meanness and then recognize the error of their ways. Just say you're sorry, be gracious and move on. If he just apologized, his (or what appears to be his) stopping the bullying of Shandaya would seem so much more genuine, but at this point, it just seems fake because he is perfectly fine with bullying.
  9. which may explain Cody's interest.... Awww, so he isn't gonna go crazy when she gets evicted? Booo
  10. But I think it all my feed into an argument ultimately to void the pre-nup because there was no consideration. It was all done too fast, he didn't really have any bargaining power, he didn't even have an attorney (even if it was his own fault), and ultimately, he got no consideration. Courts generally don't protect people from making bad deals, but sometimes if they are so one sided they will find that there was no consideration, or that the terms are unconscionable. And I wonder if that wasn't part of Todd's plan. He doesn't want to come off looking like a golddigger, so just set up a situation where it will be possible to fight the validity of the pre-nup if they ever split up.
  11. Me neither...if I take on a fad or trend, its at least 6 months after everyone else is over it. So I'm sure I'll be wearing flower caps to the side and nerd glasses I don't need while I go around calling everyone "kid" in about 6 months. the minute they let guys wear those slide things, and crocs outside the house I realized that there are no more boundaries. I cry for those boundaries now....
  12. I would seriously fear for her safety if he was alone with her in a house. His insistence that she "owes him something" would turn into "its time to pay up" and any man that would say things like "let me put her in danger so she has to run to me to save her" is not okay. Someone else said, and I agree thats the type of guy that would set fire to your house so he could try to save you. But, I'll give credit where its due, respect to Derrick on how he handled his Grandfathers passing. No loud crying, no need for group hugs, no out loud reading of the letter, just quiet respect. And I'm not a huge fan of Derricks, but I do respect when someone realizes that some things are private, and your pain over losing a loved one is not something you may want to fully open up about with people you've known approximately 40 days. That "fight" was the lamest thing ever. He can't seem to sucker anyone into a reaction, with the exception of Nicole crying in the bathroom and wondering what a fruit loop dingus is. I like his unpredictability because I think this game is getting too predictable, so I appreciate him shaking things up. I think Christine is finally starting to see the light. Its probably too late, because Amber is likely outta there, and she was one of the better female competitors. So a strong member of a potential alliance will be gone, thanks in part to Christine. Ugh, I do not get the attraction of Hayden at all. If he put his arm around me, I would agree to anything he wanted just to get him to stop touching me. Gag. Dear Zach...the closet called, it wants to know if you're in or out? But seriously - I bet you the minute Zach gets out of the house, he starts claiming that everything he did with Frankie was gameplay, and he wasn't into Frankie at all, because he is "straight" All of those statements were so funny. This was a pretty good episode, and those hilariously delusional moments were a part of it. I think Caleb's delusion is by far the most amusing. To seriously tell another houseguest that you're "king of the house?" why would you even ever do that? Credit where its due, Derrick pretty much runs the game IMO, and he has never really said so to anyone, he generally makes people think that whatever he wants them to do is their idea. Thats power. Proclaiming yourself "king of the house" and then coming up with a plan that had been discussed and agreed upon hours ago was just too delicious
  13. Tom Ford is pretty spendy, but PR used to seem to be all about aspiration and dreams and what not, but I suppose your right, its probably better to use brands that are aspirational, but doable. I felt like BlueFly was also a little on the spendy side....at least when I went to check out their accessories. You're right, Urban Decay would have been a good brand....I vaguely remember Smashbox being involved in something, although between RuPauls Drag Race, Fashion Show, Project Runway, and PR: All Stars it could have been on any of those shows. Maybe Stila too, or Make Up Forever....but Urban Decay would have been a nice fit....I think that Clinique is nice, but you're right, they may not have enough color options.
  14. I wonder if its why Todd let the terms be so one sided. In most contracts there has to be some consideration, or both parties have to give something of value in exchange for there to be a valid contract. But if one person gets everything and another person gets nothing there is no consideration. Maybe he is already thinking of a potential out.
  15. The word I use for the accessory wall of last year was "sadness." The makeup does look pretty terrible, but I don't know if thats in how its applied or the makeup itself. There are so many makeup brands out there to choose from, I mean I guess Mary Kay paid the most, but again, I wouldn't envision the typical MK customer as a PR viewer, but I can see where MaryKay may want to increase the number and type of customer it has and sees PR as a way to do it. I would have thought Tom Ford, Urban Decay, NARS, Tarte, Smashbox, or Clinique would have all been good candidates, but the problem there might be that they don't want to sponsor makeup if their co-sponsors are Red Robin, and potentially Belk. LOL...prison makeup, melting crayons and mixing them with Vaseline. Only available on Project Runway and MSNBC Lock Up
  16. I meant it as a joke, I'm sorry if it was offensive.
  17. Well its this bad girl insistence about being in the VIP section. According to Redd the VIP section was small and thats why the bumping occurred. I'm still confused as to why he would show up if his friend wasn't there. I don't remember a Bad Girl friend going out with the group if their friend wasn't there. I also don't understand why Jada or any of them need to be in the VIP section. Go dance on stage with the DJ girl! You got a camera crew! They will let you up there. Redd's crying when everyone's family was there....it honestly looked like a joke. I thought at any minute she was gonna break into a shit eating grin. I truly couldn't understand why she was seriously crying, or why she thought crying was appropriate. I guess she realized she might not be getting every nanosecond of attention so she had to figure out a way to get it back.
  18. Britt is just so lame, her family looked like they didn't believe her. Its like she needs a personal invitation to fight or else everyone else is a coward for not stepping to her. A real bad girl shouldn't even be talking that mess, if you want to fight so bad, just fight! I get the feeling back at home Britt has convinced everyone she is a bad girl by talking a lot of shit and never backing it up because no one is stepping to her. And I'm sure stepping to Britt means that you have to take off your gloves, slap her in the face and challenge her to a duel. Anything less is a sure sign that you're too scared.
  19. The Belk wall just looked like a collection of sad.
  20. Ugh, please don't even put that into the universe! However, thats another line I'll draw. Oh no, this isn't a thing is it?? ETA: oh my goodness...that is a thing!
  21. LMAO! I always envisioned my razor sharp wit ruining a marriage....I just always thought it would be my parents marriage :) Just kidding, but thank you, :) That kid is the worst, the absolute worst of all time. It makes me hate anyone who bought a Toyota Highlander.
  22. I just don't get it. It seems like he is going to try to redeem himself this season by cutting off the bullying of Shandaya, but it all seems contrived and fake when he can't even admit that he let things go to far with the bullying on UTG, or when he fails to even admit bullying happened. It would be so much better if he just admitted he made a few missteps and went from there. ETA: its been said before, but bears repeating, Natalia was totally robbed of the win for the steampunk challenge, even now I remember how cool that dress was. Shan's outfit was basically leather pants with cutouts if I remember correctly. And Jen Rade can go suck an egg, because she knows that Natalia's dress was the best in that episode. ETAA: And frankly all of the judges can go suck an egg because they failed to "judge" anything half the time. I think Rachel Roy got away before the ship totally sank, but all of the judges sucked monkey balls IMO.
  23. Of the seasons that I've seen, I enjoyed Dom's, and I've only seen Seth Aaron on All Stars, but I loved his collection. Knowing full well I couldn't wear any of it. I can't remember Dimitry's collection, but I really loved his clothes so I'm sure it was all good.
