My adult son happened to be home yesterday afternoon when I was watching Dr. Phil. Our jaws dropped at the end of the episode when he promoting an online gaming app. Why would any clinical "professional" shill for an app that might promote compulsive behavior and possibly get someone started on a gambling addiction??? That was probably the most shameful thing I've seen him promote. What the hell happened to his ethics and morals? Oh, and in the same episode he claimed that he was homeless at one point. That was news to me. Has anyone else heard him mention this before?

I listened to some of the interview she did about her new podcast. Dare I say that she sounded...almost sane??? Then again, she's back with David so that negates any sign of positive growth.

Have we ever seen Nova at a meal with her parents where she isn't planted in front of a screen with those big headphones on? Mealtimes were the one time in my house where we would be focused on each other and where I would learn about what was going on in my kids' lives. Well, that and driving them to their various activities. It saddens me that Nova is missing out on those times of essential socialization because it might make too much of a demand on her parents to shift their attention off themselves and to her.

Getting admitted is the easy part. Amber has neither the intellectual capacity nor the stamina to do college-level work for four years. Have we ever seen a book...or even a magazine...in her house? Once she's discovered what she's gotten herself into, she'll bail. What do you think her excuse will be?

Isn't Mac just the luckiest girl? Married to that ambitious, hunky Ryan and having in-laws that seem to be at her house 24/7 who are obsessed with Ryan's ex? And the whole world gets to see just what wonderful choices she's made! I wonder how long it's going to take for the regrets to set in. Maybe when the MTV money dries up?

What the heck was that thing that Megan had attached to her center part? I can't for the life of me figure it out. Also, does anyone know why only black farmers are receiving money through the bill? I was hoping that they would spend more time discussing that issue.

The same thing happened to me! Do you think the pre-empts from the inauguration proceedings had anything to do with it? Glad I checked in here and found out I didn't miss anything.

I call b.s. on the dentist giving a cursory glance at Tammy's teeth and declaring that they "look good"! How can he even tell if she hasn't had a cleaning yet and no x-rays? My daughter's a dentist and talks constantly about "bombed out" mouths with people that never brush their teeth. I have a feeling Tammy's in for a few extractions in the future. I feel so sorry for poor Michael always being stuck pushing Tammy places, often uphill. We saw she could walk in the dentist's office; why didn't she at least get out of her chair and try to walk into the restaurant instead of allowing him to struggle to push all that weight? And Jerry didn't even offer to try, from what we were shown!

This may have been discussed before...while I appreciate the CBS soaps giving us new material during the coronavirus, all the romantic moments are so flat since the characters can't even get close to one another. It's so bizarre to see Stuffy having an intense, heartfelt confession to Finn while across the room from him; to see Zoe stalking Zende when they can barely be in the same frame with each other; or Zoe declaring that she wants to marry Carter NOW with no physical closeness whatsoever. I almost wish they'd avoid romantic situations until everyone's been vaccinated and maybe give us a good murder mystery or something. I don't watch the soaps remaining on the other channel so I don't even know their names but was shocked one day when I accidentally turned the tv on to one and saw their characters sitting close to one another, touching, holding hands and even kissing! I don't know how they do it and I don't want anyone to get infected with this horrible virus but our soaps are really lacking without the physical aspect of relationships. As always, it's only my opinion.

I'm really enjoying paralyzed Chelsey! She's deliciously bitchy. And no heaving and gasping!

It was really disgusting watching Zoe stalk around the room after Zende, just assuming he'd throw his clothes off and jump her bones because she wants him to. I don't know about you guys, but other than an initial little frisson of attraction between the two of them, I haven't seen many sparks flying. Is Show so damn broke it can't afford to bring in new love interests for both Bill and Katie? Can TPTB not see that we are bored beyond reason with reuniting and then breaking them up again?

Even if the Alyssa-shot-Chance plot resolution is super-contrived and full of potholes large enough to drive through, I will accept it if it will end the the toxic overdose of Buttbiscuit we've been subjected to since he was arrested! Billy has become the new Marcia (tm The Brady Bunch) of daytime tv.

If there is one teeny-weeny positive thing to come out of Covid, it's that we don't have to watch endless, repetitive flashbacks of Liam and Steffy hitting the sheets! Finn's black pants today had a noticeable rip in the knee. Is that a thing guys are doing now? Doctor guys? it just seemed so out-of-character for him.

Poor Kloie...growing up in the House of Eeyore...everyone is just so damn miserable all. the. time. I shudder to think about future teenage Kloie who mouths off at her mom or dad and what could happen next. And you know she's going to turn out that way given her role models. I could easily see her turning to boys and/or drugs or alcohol just to escape that situation. I just hope that Jade watches the footage and gets a clue about how they're all affecting that little girl. Before watching either of the Teen Mom shows I'd never seen anyone rent a house in which to hold their child's birthday party. Is it just me or is that really some over-the-top ish?

Isn't this the umpteenth time that Billy and Chelsey have been packing up to "leave Genoa City and start a new life"? Yet here they still are...stinking up our tv screens. At this point I'd be more than willing to chip in on some one-way tickets for them. If they promise to never return!

I agree. When she was first on the show, years back, she was much heavier but seemed a lot calmer. I noticed a huge change in her last season. Still, it's nice that at least one of these girls has had a consistent friend throughout the years, unlike Kail's revolving door of acquaintances-who-want-to-be-on-tv.

Oh, absolutely! But in the past, there was usually some build-up of connection/attraction between two characters before they became a couple. Or something horrible that broke them apart. I still have no clue how/why Kyle fell out of love with Lola and found himself suddenly in love with Dummer, for example.

The lightening speed at which some characters flip their "love" from one character to another has my head spinning! First we had Kyle suddenly "realize" he no longer loved his beloved Lola and was really, truly in love with the formerly loathed (by him and all the rest of us, of course) Dummer. Then, out of the blue, the so-in-love-with-Darvon Elana accidentally falls on Nate's dick. And now Adam is declaring his love for Sharon after fighting forever to get back to the love-of-his-life Chelsea. How are we supposed to invest in any of the relationships on this show when they can be ripped apart in a second and for absolutely no reason? On a side note, I gasped when I saw Sharon's shorter bob cut at the beginning of Show and was filled with admiration for her for finally taking the step of getting a more flattering haircut. Then I saw that the rest of that mess was just stuck in her coat collar. Once again I've been tricked by Show!

Why can I not remember anything about Nicole? I'm slightly too young to be experiencing severe memory loss!

Two phrases I wish Brooke would quit using : "Your bestie, Shauna..." "Your BFF, Shauna..." Not only are they dated but it makes her look like she's trying too hard to be young and hip. Now if she said, "Your beastie, Shauna...", I could get behind that! 😊

The end of yesterday's episode...with Sharon collapsing on the steps in tears...completely pulled me right out of the story into reality. I know the new restrictions/precautions are in place for a good reason but to have Rey just stand there instead of rushing over to pull Sharon into a comforting embrace just felt so completely wrong.

It looks like Zoe sprouted some extra teeth during the quarantine, making her smile even more shark-like than it was before!

Are they doing their own hair and makeup now?
