Well, this game is turning out to be more fun than I had any hope to expect. Oh, and I don't hate the Chiefs. Yet...

I guess it depends on how much your congress person wants to gouge you... of course.

I'm of two minds about this - am I happy that he won't be able to enjoy the "yuuuuge crowds" and the "fabulous parade" (which will now be held in an arena that seats 20K instead of the 200K they were expecting on the mall (which I think was overestimating))? Or am I unhappy that he and his "supporters" won't freeze to death? Decisions, decisions... Meanwhile, I just read that congressional offices are instructed to tell ticket holders that their tickets are now "commemorative". In other words - no refunds. Too bad...

I live in a state where it's illegal to ask for ID when voting. If someone asks for my ID, I'm supposed to call the voter help line people and they will send someone over to do...something. That's the way it's always been here and I greatly appreciate it.

A suggestion - go to playbill.com. They have all the current and upcoming shows listed, and sometimes links to discounts. On topic - we saw the movie as our Christmas outing a long time ago. I think I loved it? 😉 Since then, I saw the recent revival with Sara Bareillis, which was stunning! FTR, I also love Sweeney Todd (but haven't seen the movie).

He is on BlueSky, but you're right, it's not quite the same. Same with Chris Evans (notcaptainamerica). He's in both places, but somehow it's more fun when they're swatting away pests. Ah well...

I can't give up WhatsApp - all of my imaginary friends live in my phone! As for FB, I "inherited" the account when my sister died in 2021. I never post because it would freak out all of her friends, but this week, I'm going through and downloading all the interesting pictures so I can close the account. I find it incredibly boring. I do wish I could figure out how to save all the lovely messages about her, but other than screenshots, I don't know how. I will look into that. I also inherited her Twitter account, which I became rather fond of. I opened a BlueSky account a couple of months ago, but haven't closed Twitter yet because I love reading the Menswear guy eviscerate the right wing nut jobs that come for him. Fortunately, my feed there is mostly baseball and cute animals. I don't know how I managed to keep most of the MAGAs away, but...yay.
