I know of it, but haven't seen it or heard any of the songs. I don't think I'm in a place in my life where I want to sit through it, though. I also passed on Parade earlier because - not now.

I'm just laughing because the thought of Don Jr trying to step into anything is...laughable.

I hate the Steelers. That is all.

According to this weekend's Wait Wait...Don't Tell Me, all of the ghosts have outlived even their second lives... In case this doesn't go where I stopped it, the piece starts at approximately 18:35 https://www.npr.org/2024/11/09/1211763898/wait-wait-dont-tell-me-draft-11-09-2024

I smiled at the Che jokes. Otherwise, not so much. And Bill Burr is as awful as I remember him from last time. Sigh.....

Oh yeah, I forgot to put forth my very grounded opinion that no one should read Maureen Dowd. Ever. She's a clown. I will now go back to lurking for a while.

This, and the Fairness Doctrine. But I believe a huge (if not THE biggest) thing to change everything to the worse is Citizens United. When the big, unchecked money started flowing into politics, it was over.

This is the thing not enough people are focusing on. Blaming the voter demographics and all the rest of it and ignoring how the media covered this election - or didn't cover it. Trump makes them money and that's all they seem to care about. We'll see how that works out for them.

Not today... It's 10 am somewhere.

FilmNight: Movies you watched recently

For me, it was Pirates of Penzance in Central Park with Linda Ronstadt. So much fun. -
Don't worry about it. I saw it earlier on some random twitter thing. And I still thought it was great. Really strong show tonight. I felt the sitcom pioneers sketch was the weakest and still had laughs. And I wasn't really into Heidi as Reba. But otherwise, I can't complain.

And right now, there's a Tim Kaine for Senate commercial on my TV. Yay! I guess 😄

Normally I don't mind spoilers, but I kinda wish I hadn't know she would be there. I thoroughly enjoyed it, but I can't imagine how much the surprise would have made it even better.

Health and Wellness Chit-Chat: Your Primary Care Topic

I had the latest Moderna shot about a month ago. I was over this one faster than any of the previous shots, which after the initial 2 shots that were Pfizer, have all been Moderna. This time was mostly a sore arm and a bit of fatigue the next day, but that was it. -
I finally saw the show 6ish years ago and stand by my theory that I would have loved it when I was 15. However, I'm far past 15. I have no desire to see the movie. However... if the movie was done with Legos, I'd be there in a heartbeat! That was great.

I had chicken pox and mumps as a kid. I managed to avoid measles, but I do remember getting a vaccine for them when I was in elementary school. So that probably helped. I got the shingles vax as soon as I was able to - I've seen/heard too many awful stories about shingles and I'd like to not ever have them. The first shot was by far the worst reaction I've had to any vaccines lately, but totally worth it. The second shot was okay. -
Native Baltimoron, but grew up in the DC suburbs. The family was all Os fans - my first memories of actually caring was watching the '66 Series at my cousins in Baltimore. I'm a 40+ year season ticket holder now. Started out the first year they did partial plans and got a 29 game plan. Now down to 13 Sundays because I'm old and prefer day games 😉 Also, Mr. ebk swears people misbehave more at night games. He's not exactly wrong. We also went to some Senators games as kids, although since the tickets were more expensive, not too many. When the Nats came to town, we got a partial plan there and had that for 6 years, but going to that stadium became kinda unpleasant. They don't seem to have good customer-service training for the public-facing employees. Ah well... I still root for them - sometimes. As much as my dream would be to have all the money in the world so I could live at The Dakota, I'm not a fan of NY sports teams (in case that isn't clear 😄). I blame that on incredibly obnoxious fans, none of which are here. My feelings about other teams sometimes change mid-game - I go in thinking I want one team to win, but by the 3rd inning, I've changed my mind for unknown reasons. I will say that I've not "met" such nice Yankees fans as you all here. I almost makes me sad when they don't win. Almost. Thanks for asking so I can ramble. 🧡🧡

Me? It's part of the Disney bundle thing with Hulu and ESPN+. I think I've watched 2 things on ESPN+ in the 3 years I've had it.

I'm very sad. But I'm happy for my Yankee friends here. Did you all believe that? I tried to be sincere... sorta...

I thought the game turned out rather well... Although I almost thought the USC team name was The Lincoln Rileys since the broadcasters referred to him more than the actual team.

That upward glance when she's talking about the gazebo is perfect! This campaign is so much better than the "boring" one.
