  1. One was filmed with a slice of pizza behind the station. Made the internet. Firefighters are required to clean the station. Usually, with a large population like that, each group (truck/engine/squad) should be assigned a daily duty, and each watch does it too, so that problems don't build up. However, since the engine crew is never seen on camera, maybe they get a pass. Speaking of the engine crew, why is it that they never seem to get inside the building and put the damn fire out? I would think they would be there right behind the squad. As soon as I saw Chekov's handtools being used, I knew something was going to require their return later on. Because torque is always more effective than hydraulic pressure. However, wouldn't it have been faster to go in through the broken window and unlock the door from the inside? Either there's a wide ranging conspiracy against Casey concerning the alleged basement dweller, or, yeah, he's losing his mind. Maybe that injury from S1 is finally coming back. It would be easy enough to check the basement for signs of occupation. Maybe even ask the woman and child that they pulled out of there.
  2. Yeah, after that many plot twists, it's not surprising that Priyanka Chopra fell down and hurt herself.
  3. I put $5 down and say he slips on the ice covered sidewalk while taking out the garbage. Nothing like completely ordinary to ruin your day.
  4. Will he be in a wheelchair? If so, he'll be (successfully, of course) lobbying right and left for the ADA in every episode. But then again he'll be finally relegated to the office when the Black Dog ops get off the ground again.
  5. Not to mention that for the rest of history she will be "that dirty little coward, that shot Mr. Howard, has laid poor Jesse in his grave." (Added before I saw the other posts). I wasn't paying the closest of attention, but didn't they say that James and Flynn went into Indian Territory? Missouri was a state by that time, and the Marshalls patrolled west of there. Just for reference, after James's death, Frank James worked out a surrender deal with the governor of Missouri. He was put on trial and acquitted. He died in 1915.
  6. Now that today is done, I'm just going to throw this out there. Designated Survivor - Ben Carson.
  7. Setting: A group meeting. "What are we going to call ourselves? The Cabal?" "Sorry, that's taken." "Amazon?" "Really? What are we, online?" "Butch Cassidy and the Hole in the Wall Gang?" "NO!!!!" "Alright, The Harem it is." Why did the barroom bathroom have "Ladies" stenciled on the inside of the door (clearly visible when Liz goes in)?
  8. Michael is an architect. Trevor is perhaps a manager. Maybe The Bad Place has a hierarchy, or maybe Dilbert is closer to reality than we think.
  9. One question: Sean the Judge announces that this hearing was "Case #00003". I wonder who the first two were. In the final episode, Eleanor, Chidi, Jason, and Tahani will all team up on a group project, fix a swing in the playground, and earn enough points to move on up.
  10. I haven't seen the episode yet, but, just for odd reference, Jesse James did hide out in California from time to time, at his uncle's ranch outside of Paso Robles. I don't know if any crimes were attributed to him, but his reputation did precede him so he did kind of lay low. This was long before interstate law enforcement.
  11. The last question on Michael's points list: Have you ever cancelled a television show that actually appealed to people?
  12. Just think what that birthday scene would have been like if Rebecca had not been able to buy that oh-so-strategically placed tee shirt at the liquor store.
  13. Don't worry about Louie. The father (or his family) will probably do something unusually stupid and everyone will have to traipse on over to Chicago Justice to sort it out. The saga continues.
  14. Not to mention pushing up those stairs to the second floor of their house multiple times per day.
  15. I wonder how many takes and/or scene cuts the action in the woods required. (Running up pine needle covered slope) "Huff, puff, can I get a cut, here?" "Cut!" I liked how the FBI rushed to the scene, sirens wailing (gotta get those deer off that forest road), only to stop at the drop off point, set up their little command center tent, and mill around. Waiting for one side or the other to come back down the hill, I guess. I was momentarily taken aback there in the CIA office, until I remembered that the scene was lifted whole cloth from the original movie, with the exception of Swagger being on the opposite end.
  16. Logic really isn't this show's selling point, anyway. As long as the plots are ignoring the consequence of time travel, they're just as likely to inexplicably change people's behavior to suit the situation and the desired outcome.
  17. Maybe the entire cast are the aliens, and it's the unseen earthlings that have come back to wipe them out. Sorry, too soon after the Twilight Zone marathon?
  18. So Casey and Gabby's address is 911. Cute. Someone please explain how Severide can swan dive from 15' up (or more), hit the ground with his torso, and be up walking around the next day. No broken bones, no nothing. Otis's blown chance at film stardom reminds me of my hobby of skydiving. More than a few jumps have been lost due to one thing: Don't forget to turn on the camera.
  19. I made the comment early on in S1 that the Resistance would do far better if they focused on helping the population with food and medicine, thereby undermining the Alien rule. But they're stuck in a never ending video game of Alien Combat, and they're losing.
  20. Every time they mentioned the time-inappropriate term serial killer, I half expected the locals to ask "How do you go about killing cereal?" Firing a pistol or a rifle in a crowded hotel will attract attention. Gunshots are loud. Why didn't anyone react? I can see Flynn getting away because he's carrying a rifle with him and no one will mess with him, but Wyatt & Co.? No way. Ford Motor Co. was one of the sponsors of the show. I wonder if they knew that Henry was going to be portrayed as a Rittenhouse. I thought the architect was going to be Julia Morgan, of Hearst Castle fame, but after research, she was just a bit later. Not much, though. It's been fun, folks, but when is this show going to get some traction? Somebody in the writers room needs to do something to get the plot off the ground. Next, they're going to the Wild West. Maybe someday they'll go all the way back to Biblical times, 'cause you know that Pilate was an ancestor of the original Rittenhouse. They'll kill him, and Jesus won't be crucified, and now we'll get some historical change, by golly.
  21. nbc.com probably has a link to it if you don't mind the small screen.
  22. I thought that was kind of fun, too, but what military officer would risk his career over a pissing match with someone so close to the President? Unless he's looking to curry favor with Dalton's opponents, and betting on the new guy, it doesn't make a lot of sense.
  23. Well, that's me. I ff through commercials so I rarely see promos, and never look at the previews, either. And maybe this is the only show I watch on USA, I'm not sure.
  24. That was the first thing I thought when he ran out the door. "Don't leave the baby, you idiot." He must have heard me. (No quote above, just a mistake.)
  25. The multi-billion dollar settlement they received from the Dharma Initiative fixed their books for quite awhile.
